You have to be very aware of the fact that Alibris reviews of book quality
With used books. I have been royally burned by inaccurate reviews. When I find something that interests me I am very cautious and have sent books back about 50% of the time. Also be aware of the excessive shipping rates, this high charge on everything is why Alibris is always my last resort.

A bit hard to navigate who sells what. It would have been nice to have an easier time trying to consolidate sellers in order to save on shipping.
It's great, the only thing I would seek to improve is to think of a way to make the shipping costs clear while still shopping - perhaps automating consolidating orders into the same shippers?

Yesterday I put 12 items in my cart. Went to buy them, had to log in - and then my cart was empty! I left, and almost didn't come back to repeat the shopping today - and today I only bought 8. I know websites can cost a lot to update, but that was really unpleasant, to have my shopping work all disappear.

I recently canceled my Amazon Prime subscription. Love how competitive the prices are here in Alibris. I hope they give deeper discounts to loyal customers.
I enjoyed the process of searching for books, but then I was appalled at the shipping cost and saw that each book was from a different seller. I would like a way to search books offered by a specific seller so that when I've decided I want one from that seller, I can see what others I can get without racking up such a high shipping cost.
