I was looking for a book mentioned at a seminar. I did not want to have to buy it used and pay an exorbitant amount of money for a textbook. I found it used, in good condition for extremely less.
In my experience, Alibris has the broadest inventory of new/used books available on line. Excellent quality and I have never had a problem with their mail order service...
Maybe the problem I had does not admit of an easy solution. Still, it is frustrating. I had seen a two copy set of the Loeb Classical edition of Diogenes Laertius. When I searched for it again, the only way I could find it was with the name and the word "Loeb." If I added "Classical, or anything else to make my request more precise" it was as though this set didn't exist. Ultimately, my persistence paid off and I found it following multiple attempts. I would hope that the site's search engine could be more flexible.
This order was initiated on my phone. After repeated attempts to enter my password were rejected, I had to finish on my computer.

I have had problems with every order where I order a cd but receive a cassette instead. Still haven't been reimbursed for king tee cd I ordered. Also difficult to contact anyone when dealing with issues. Let's see what happens with my recent order.
