I have ordered 3 books from the US to be shipped to the UK in the last few months. 2 didn't arrive and one was cancelled immediately without explanation. Their international shipping uses the cheapest possible surface mailing company, and there is no tracking (available to the customer, or probably at all) past the US hub. Both books that were shipped as far as the US hub, and then were "lost". One was expensive and fairly rare (signed by Sir Edmund Hillary - the polar explorer). You cannot contact them regarding this delivery until after 45 days, when they immediately tell you it is "lost". Then they issue a refund. Their is no Customer Service at all. Generic responses all the way. This is not how you operate a service to either the buyer or seller - in both instances that the book has been lost, the sellers are equally perplexed and astounded by their (lack of) response or resolution.
BE WARNED - DON'T ORDER FROM US TO UK UNLESS YOU PLAY THE LOTTERY AND OFTEN WIN - check out reviews from other UK buyers with international deliveries.

Everything was great except that the shipping cost is ourageous and you can't choose multiple copies of a book.

Easy to negotiate the website and find what I wanted.

I have ordered form Alibris for years and always been pleased with their service and quality of purchases made.

Would be great to be able to check for multiple copies and order at once….also shipping for one place seemed exhorbitant

Went to purchase a book through my email link and it said item no longer available. Then received another email that showed the same link and it was available. Hmm, makes me want to rethink purchasing through this company. Also, don't like how I'm required to allow feedback to other sites just to give feedback.

I wanted a preview of the book before buying, to be sure that it's what I need.

Once 'Free Shipping' was reached, I thought I would not be charged shipping for additional books ordered. That wasn't the case so I removed the additional books I planned to purchase.

Price is fair. Shipping should be more affordable or volume sensitive. Website needs an update. It's outdated and not easy to navigate.

I had problems because i created a shopping cart then was not able to make changes until 12 hours later. The items I selected did not come back up until 12 hours later. I emailed your team no with quick reply.

I am a regular customer and always have a seamless purchase and delivery.

Always a great resource for quality used academic books at a great price. Delivery is fast and reliable.

Easy Peasy ordering. So glad to get this recently released book about the women & their contributions to the Black Panther party.

Alibris is my "go to" for any book that I'm looking for! I've found out of print edition, even college text books for our kids!

The ordering process went smoothly. I'll be excited to see my books.
