The shipping took almost three weeks, which was longer than estimated, and I found I had to pay a small tax and service fee to Canada Post COD on delivery. When I asked the seller he had no idea what this charge was, and my query to Alibris received an automated response. Probably the delay was due to new rules about tariffs in Canada, so not the fault of the seller or of Alibris. Still, Alibris handled the cross-border shipment and surely they would have known about new regulations. It would have been helpful if they had advised me that additional charges might be imposed and that there might be a delay in shipping. The order was promised in 3-16 days and I received a notice after 19 days to pick it up at the post office.
