It was hard to figure out how to change my shipping address
I have moved. My home address is now the same as my shipping address-- the same road and zip but a different house number. The default shipping address is correct, but the home (I presume mailing) address is my old one, and I can't find any way to change that. Other than that, my eperience with alibris is good.
I found an out of print book I had been looking for upon referral of alibris from a friend.
I clicked on the free shipping button and was still charged shipping. I would like to have a little more info provided on the book's contents.
It was simple and clear. BUT... I was on a Hard Cover of the book when I was browsing but when I went to purchase it it dropped me to paperback. If I hadn't caught that I would have been very frustrated to receive the paperback.
Most books I want are thankfully here! Books are cheap, and shioping is inexpensive if you are buying from the same place. Books don't ship from the same place so if you are looking at getting a bulk order of different books, the shipping will most likely be expensive
Always good book shopping with Alibris, since forever
It would be great if, when you already have something in your cart, there were a script in place that elevated that store to the top of the rankings if you're looking for another book. Trying to consolidate sellers is hard, and postage is expensive now. I'd love it if the search prioritized smaller booksellers, too, but I know that's not how online marketplaces work.
