Alibris makes finding and purchasing books easy and cost-effective for customers while *also* supporting independent bookshops and book sellers.

Alibris system was very easy to trigger problem with delivering and connect me with seller with no problem.
Seller communication was very good, took care for solving my issues with delivering.

Paid over $18 delivery fee for five copies of children's book, yet it took just over two weeks from first notice of books being shipped until they arrived... in a package (books were ok) that was torn/ripped open.

I was very happy with my purchase overall, however the delivery tracking did not work properly. I did not receive updates and when I went online to track my purchase, no useful information was provided.

Very straightforward. Easy process. I was able to read the description with regards to the condition of the book with one of the sellers. There may have been others that also had descriptions, but I was happy with the first one I found.

This one has movies! If you are looking for independent-oriented book shops, many competitors can help you. But only Alibris also sells video discs like DVD and Blu-Ray.

This seller mailed the book quickly and my daughter said the quality is like new. She is very pleased with the quality of book. I would definitely make another purchase from this seller through Alibris.com.
However, the USPS took 15 days to move it from Greensboro NC to Jacksonville FL. It took one day to reach Tallahassee FL and another 4 days to actually be delivered to my daughter's address. I do not blame the seller for this delay.

Shopping on line isn't exactly an experience, but it is convenient. Alibris describes the condition of its books accurately and has been very reliable in shipping them.

Some items are priced higher for rarity but I can avoid most of that. Shipping averages about 4.99 if you get something from a different seller so keep that in mind when shopping.

I could not get the book that I wanted in UK, so I found your website. The book was priced reasonably, but I'm sorry to add that the postage from USA was more than doubled the book price. However, it was a book that I wanted, so had to pay the price. Communication with Alibris was excellent and I was informed about its progress at all times. Thank you all.

I bought a pretty-hard-to-find CD from a store in the Dallas, TX area. The price and the shipping price were great. The CD was in pristine condition (somewhat of a surprise)! My only negative-ish observation was that, contrary to shipping time on the invoice of 16 days, it actually took 21 days. Not a big deal, all things considered, especially since the package appears to have gone from Dallas to Los Angeles to Toronto to Edmonton, but a little nerve-wracking, wondering if it had gotten lost or stolen along the way.
