Easy to find the books. Easy to check out and good value
It's really bewildering that, when I'm on the screen for typing in my payment card details, you don't show my FULL shipping address! You miss out the first part! That is SO worrying! LATER, on the placing-my-order screen, my FULL shipping address appears - that's wonderful. But WHY put me in a panic earlier by not showing the full address? I was worried my books would not arrive! I nearly didn't continue with my order!
All good. Nice website visually - I like the red and black:-) User-friendly site, good logical process. I'd like to be able to pay for fast express delivery - that would be even better, to have that option available!:-)
I like the concept of Alibris, but a small problem in the shopping experience is there isn't as much description of the books as on Amazon. I always end up having to read the blurb about the book on Amazon and some of the reviews there, before coming back to Alibris to buy the book. This wastes some time.

Search results are usually very complicated to understands, specially if the books that are searched consist of more than 2 volumes.
Shipping cost is still high compared to amazon.

Easy to find the book I wanted. Had to update my card details and forgot to correctly select Visa or Mastercard, and instead of just flagging this (or automatically detecting the correct option) the system reset the form, so I had to re-type my card number. Which is not the end of the world, clearly, but is irritating. And explains why there's no fifth star.
