It would be nicer if it displayed shipping costs BEFORE checkout. It would also be nicer if it stored more than one payment method for my account

You should ask for the name on the credit card separately since the cardholder's name is not always identical to the customer's name.

Really annoying
When trying to add zip/postcode it does not accept Letters. British postcodes are alphanumeric. US zips numeric. Pasting alpha numeric only leaves numeric. And only numeric keyboard Really bad software coding.

Not easy to tell how to calculate the cost of shipping, whether it's more or less if from different sellers or for more items. Itemising this would make it easier.

Ordering was straight forward enough, now to see ho the rest of the process works.

Very simple, plenty of choice. Would be good to have a feature that shows anything on your want list that the chosen supplier also has in stock.

Found book I needed easily (using partial book name as I wasn't sure of the spelling of the German author's name) on Bookfinder, who referred me to Alibris. Checkout was painless and shipping was less than I had expected!
