The whole Trade assurance really is a facade. When it comes down to it, Alibaba uses every excuse to shirk its responsibility. Its dispute process is only a way to drag things out and wear down the Buyer until you just have enough and can't even be bothered any longer to fight them.
Note to Buyers: Do everything possible to safeguard yourself at the front end because you will receive No help whatsoever from Alibaba who appear to side with the Sellers because of course they protect each other against us the Buyers!
Finding suppliers and shopping was a good experience. The product was shipped on time and the quality was good.
I really enjoy Alibaba and would recommend it and will continue to use it, only problem that i have is that there for many different spots where messages are sent, either on the site the message center, email or phone message, but then do not show up all the time so if you get a message you must try and find what spot the message went to it is very confusing and time confusing.
There's so many products under one roof if you're not satisfied with your purchase there's time to return it and Alibaba will assist you in getting another product or a refund, you can't beat that.

No hassles, all smooth transactions. It is a good platform for clients to track the cargo and the deals.
Horrendous experience. In Chinese this is called (Kěpà de). This is probably a scam. The rep, Arien He, was condescending and unhelpful. After my order didn't arrive on time (3 weeks), he was unable to determine where it was. Nor did he express interest in doing so. In fact, he told me I should have paid for express if I wanted it on time. Unreal. If this was in the U.S. he *ss would be long gone by now.
Also, the Review button on the Alibaba site does not work.
Here are some quotes from my conversation online with him:
"If you need a fast delivery, you should tell me at that time, and the cost must be higher!"
After I asked to speak with a manager:
"If you are seller, you can promise when the goods will arrive, right? We have no reason to refund to you, if you want refund, you need to assume the return freight and tax, please think carefully. And I am the manager, so you want to talk with me?"
I can't think of anyone more in the need of a backhand than this guy.
I ordered products through this and got my product the day after the delivery date. Prouct quality is also good and the shipping cost is also lower than other website.
Instead of spending one or two hours going to the market a day, all I've gotta do is shop online, they actually delivers veggie and meat! Real helpful!
I was looking to purchase a2 uv flatbed printer and came across a listing for what I thought a great deal. Well I was told that the printer can't print on bottles, which in their Q&A SECTION clearly states cylinder printing 360°, 2nd after challenging that statement, I was then told I would have to arrange for shipping myself, lol. Instead of interacting with obviously hormonal immature children, I spent my money else where, but I want to warn others of the suspicious nature of this company. The rude CSR name is Y Doris, I believe she's the manager too. Buyer BEWARE. There's legitimate professional companies on Alibaba, this isn't one of them.
