Their Trade Assurance Protection is horrible. I ordered a sample of a customized iPhone selfie case, and the paint came with a bunch of holes and one of the LED lights was broken. I opened a claim and Sunny is name of the claim manager and she is terrible at her job. Bad communication skills and I don't think she understands English very well. She kept sending me copy and pasted messages even though I kept asking specific questions and she just wasn't answering those questions. She then closed the claim stating that I "never uploaded any evidence" even though I had uploaded a ton, i think she just didn't want to deal with my messages anymore since she didn't understand them. I had to open a second claim and I asked if I could work with someone who isn't Sunny, but it seems like Sunny is the only one that works claims. This time she took a total of over 5 days to reply to me and finally answered my questions sufficiently and offered me an $80 refund for an order that cost me $110, and I accepted, only for her to respond saying that my order is no longer under the protection period because too much time has passed. Like seriously?!? Even though it was all YOUR fault? If Sunny had just looked through the evidence the first time, and answered my questions, I wouldn't be in this situation! My order was still under the protection period when I opened the claim, orders should be protected while a claim is still open, the protection period should only apply to opening claims on the first place, that's what all other companies do. For a company worth billions, it's ridiculous that this is their policy. I guess now I know why they're worth billions though, they're taking advantage of poor small people like myself. I tried contacting their customer service to explain the situation and they told me I would get help from the manager of the claims department, but I just got a message from a regular customer service team member.

Purchased product from Weihai Huifu Sports Goods Inc. Finally shipped the product after numerous excuses and delays. Tracking number was provided for my information. I was satisfied at this point. 3 weeks went by and the UPS tracking number showed "Shipment Cancelled ". Contacted shipper… they said it was on its way. Just disregard tracking number. Really? Seriously? Requested for a full refund. Seller will give refund less shipping cost. Really? Seriously? Alibaba trade assurance sided with seller. What a total SCAM. STAY AWAY. After shared I was even asked to confirm if these units were satisfactory for my needs. Exact items from the videos were received in perfect condition in less than week half way across the globe. I have often heard that alibaba.com is full of counterfeits. Every now and again I search the internet for my own handmade greeting cards just to see what comes up and to see how high my own website comes up in the search. Every time recently I have found yet another scam website claiming to have stock of my cards that only I have possession of. This time I found some of my cards on alibaba.com, probably more than I actually saw, maybe all of my online ones, and the only differences are the price and a place to click on to fill in a form to get quotations. They won't be able to exactly duplicate what I've made, and I am virtually certain that the quality will not even come close if they try. They stole my images and description off of amazon.com when I had them for sale there, but their images are blurry and the whole listing of the one I was looking at is about as schlocky as alibaba are. I suppose that maybe I should be flattered that so many scam websites are stealing my designs, except that none of them have them in stock as they claim nor will they get them from me, and should anybody on alibaba try to duplicate them the buyer will get an inferior product, as well as a stolen design.

I have purchased oxygen machine from this website trusting there "buyer protection program" supplier has delayed the delivery for more than accepted time and I lost my orders from my buyers.
When contacted Alibaba they say as per the terms They don't support me in this issue.:(
I feel in an agreement of 10+ pages they will always find a caluse to support there china suppliers.
Please don't trust there program.

Answer: Do not do it!~ they are scammers. It is way to difficult to figure out who are scam sellers and who are not. And there idea of protection is a joke! Do not do it. If they are cheap there is a reason why... think about that! Dont do it!
Answer: Alibaba does not offer any protection from either scams or mistakes. Dispute resolution to them is you lose your money or pay more money and then lose it. Only pay with CC and then give alibaba 1 chance to fix then dispute with CC company and get money back. IMPORTANT in contract state that you get a full refund of any monies if their are any problems.
Answer: I would echo Hugh K's comments. Never ever rely on Alibaba whether the supplier is trusted or gold whatever. Insist on paying via PayPal. Ask seller to send you PayPal invoice and before making payment, call and confirm with PayPal if you are protected by PayPal in case seller doesn't deliver as promised. Personally, I stay away from purchasing via Alibaba. Try Dhgate.com. I'm doing all my business from this site

Answer: This is what they tell you but in fact it doesn't happen. Alibaba only look after their traders. The traders buy gold supplier stars like we buy lollipops. Gold star supplier means nothing. Ghangzou Mega Beauty firstly showed 3 stars, the following week 4 stars, following week 5 stars and the next week 6 stars. I complained to Alibaba who don't care as long as they get the money. Now DHGate do not release the payment until you receive your goods. Buy from DHGate to ensure you are not scammed.
