Sourcing is a complex thing, esp. When done online across continents. Using the platform makes it easier (still a lot of work) esp. Having all communication with the supplier in one place, incl. Order, quality assurance, shipment and payments.
Of course there are somethings that could be done better (like not opening new browser windows /tabs for almost all clicks) but thats the nature of such systems.
I absolutely love Alibaba. The company really provides all the assurances that a merchant such as myself would want. I love Trade Assurance.
