Very good price compared to others. This is my third carport and have been very pleased with them all.

My original review was a negative one and for good reason. The issue was finally resolved today when the owner contacted me via phone. Here's the history - I ordered a carport online and was quoted a price of 1695. 00. A day later when i was ready to sign off on the order, a rep for the company emails me stating the price was additional $700. The rep informed me that i did not pick a state, which was not correct the site requires a selection and yet the site had no problem calculating the correct taxes for my state. I spoke with a rep the same day I placed my order and the rep confirm the order was accepted and i was good to go. I spoke with the company and they couldnt explain why my price was different online vs the finalized price. I'm going to assume the glitch occurred on their end but they refuse to accept responsibility for the error. The rep simply refurageted her original response. The error was on their end and they should have tried to rectify the issue. Canceled the order and imploring others to be careful if you plan to do business with this company.
Update: I spoke with the owner and he has agreed to honor the original quote and even waived the required deposit. We spoke for 30 min and hashed it all out. The owner, Alan seems like a decent guy and wanted to resolve the issue. I wish more companies would do business like this. I was a little surprised this problem even arose as I received several personal recommendations about the company. They provide quality materials at a fair price. I'm just glad we were able to resolve the issue. If you're looking for a carport or garage, this might be your company.

Product is good, delivery excellent, set up fair. A pretty big mess was left on my new driveway, there are error holes in the steel, and some bars are open to the weather.

All went easily until time for installation, installers no show or call 2 days in a row, after many calls to scheduling with promised phone calls not returned, The installers then showed up at 8; 30at night. Not only were they days late but they didn't have the upgraded screw I paid for and Installed the "not correct" ones with out even asking or advising prior. Called Alans and Carolina Car ports and spoke to customer service at both places and was credited for wrong screws... no offer to help with the 2+ days of missed work... Its a shame because the product it self is awesome!

alansfactoryoutlet.com was fine to deal with. I had some product questions and they responded promply and even sent some product spec details to help me answer my question.
We had numerous difficulty with the Carolina Carport people, and the installers they used. Didn't communicate well. Didn't show up to install the unit.
