They booked the wrong day for me over the phone and i was charged twice. I have spent more than 8 hours on the phone and I still dont have my money back. It has been a month and a half. Staff is unwilling to help, unwilling to transfer to supervisors and calls are frequently dropped. I use booking sites like expedia, hotwire and hotels all the time and i am telling you i will NEVER use agoda again. SAVE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY AND YOU SANITY. BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.
We booked a hotel in Naples and had to cancel because we had been exposed to the Coronavirus and can't get a hold of anyone by e mail or phone to listen to our claim. First and last time I use this booking service refund

Horrible customer service. I was hung up on twice, and refused to be transferred to a supervisor. Three weeks as hotel cancelled my reservation, but still no money. Completely useless.

Website has conned me twice. To try and make a complaint is the most long winded process. Its hard to find a local office to talk to on their website. Have to use 3rd party websites to try and find ways to contact them. Typical lets make it as hard as possible to get a refund. Do not use. Plenty of better options. Also not the cheapest.
They don't even deserve 1 Star! Management is terrible! They stole $650
From me for 2 night stay since United canceled our entire flight due to Coronavirus. I even had United write a letter to them. Frattina BIG Spanish Steps owner refuses to refund my money even though she already re-rented to some one else to use our dates! Thief's! I'm filing a class action suit!
I have booked with them and their cancelation policy was no refund on some terms which I understand but unfortunately the country I live at banned travel due to the COVID 19 which happened to the whole universe and I reached out to agoda no one ever replied to me except with their repetitive ads and offers as if the world is safe for them, although the hotel i booked at i did reach out the manager of it and they approved the refund but Agoda wasn't even bothered to reply back to me in a whole month
Certainly never dealing with them again or trusting them or suggesting them
Booked a flight from Denpasar to Perth on Citilink 2 weeks ago. I received a WhatsApp message from Citilink saying my flight had been cancelled due to operation reasons and then received an email from Citilink stating the same thing. So... I booked another flight on Jetstar. I called Citilink to enquire about my refund and they told me that Agoda had to refund me. I called Agoda and they told me that Citilink had to refund me. I have been going back and forth between the two many many times and 2 weeks later still no refund! I have emailed Agoda at their request with proof of the message and email froM Citilink and have been told again to contact Citilink. On calling Citilink I was told yet again to contact Agoda for my refund! I am emailing Agoda to follow up and they are not even replying now. Do not use Agoda!
This site does not respond to email or call. I was not able to refund my hotel accommodation fee in spite of emergency reason, specifically hotel lockdown due to COVID 19. Beware of this They will get your money and will not refund for whatever reason. This will be my last. I will not try to book here ever again.
Agoda claimed Hotel Refused to Refund any part of Canceled trip due to COVID-19. I had booked the hotel to go to the US Embassy, however the Embassy closed due to COVID-19. The hotel refused to refund my prepaid room, the breakfast or even provide a voucher.

I had a reservation at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, due to the Coronavirus I requested the option to cancel the reservation, and they did cancel but kept my money. The worst, having into account the hotels were offering free cancelation.
I guess im not the only one. No refunds even for Covid19. Agoda does not vouch for their customers. You will loose lots of money with them. You have been warned.
Planned a trip to Las Vegas 3/24/20. Later learned the hotel is currently closed due to Covid19. Agoda has not contacted me at all regarding the hotel being closed. This is highway robbery and I will definitely never EVER use this site again. They are THIEVES...
My family planned a trip to Dallas. At the time we had no way of knowing that pretty much everything we were planning on doing was closed due to COVID-19. My husband called the hotel to cancel our reservation, but was told to contact the 3rd party booking company. Well it sure doesn't tell you on Agoda's website how hard it will be to contact them if there is a problem. I understand having restrictions but when it comes to the well-being of your customers that should ultimately come first. Why would a person want to travel to a place where pretty much all there is to do is to sit in a hotel room or risk contracting a virus. I would never recommend a company that is so heartless and uncaring to their so-called customers. Please thank twice before using this company. Once they have your money they are done with you.
Horrible customer service and very difficult to contact. Waited 2 hours outside our booked luxury apartment only to be told the owner was uncontactable and our booking was now cancelled. No offer for an alternative.
Awful! No agents are available when I needed to return money for covid 19 global cancellations. They just kept money without explanations. Not reachable neither on the phone nor by email. Never again!
I made flight booking to Agoda last February 2,2020 for our Vacation on April. But then COVID-19 crisis came, and all of my other flights that I've booked to different airline have already been cancelled and refunded. So, I requested to cancel my flight booking due to COVID-19. But they did not take actions. They didn't care about their customers safety. I kept calling ang emailing them about my request but they did not respond! I even emailed them the supporting documents on our city lockdown. Worst travel agency ever! I will report this travel agency!
Customer service is terrible, website is impossible to navigate if you have any issues with your reservation, it keeps putting you back into a dead end forcing you to call them which takes hours
I will never use them again and will in fact go out of my way not to use them. I never even got an email confirmation of my reservation
The flight was canceled due to the Corona virus. So obviously couldn't use the hotel. This was beyond my control. They refused to give me a refund. I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. WONT EVER USE THEM AGAIN.
Made a reservation with a Hilton property in Lisbon. Due to Covid-19 pandemic we were unable to travel. Our credit was charged for the total charge for the two nights and kept by Agoda, not refunded or or transferred to the hotel in Lisbon. With such ethics compassion they should avoided completely.
Because of the outbreak we want to cancel or at least defer our reservation to a much later time in the year. Agoda told us because I didn't purchase the cancellation insurance they can't do anything. It's disgusting that in times like these they're not flexible. We were really looking forward to this trip but how can we travel when flights are being grounded?! To make matters worse, they have no toll free number for North Americans to call their call centre. I will never use them again. Booking with Agoda is like playing Russian roulette.

Answer: I don't bother making lists just search for where I am going and select the best deal for at least 1 mth before its needed and keep track of prices

Answer: For me as well very bad experience with this site. The administrator failed to confirm my booking in the evening, claiming they could not see it in their system and stating that the reserved room was unavailable, despite all the correct booking information being provided. Instead, they offered me a different room. At 10 PM on December 31st, traveling with a child, I had no choice but to agree and pay again for the alternative room. I immediately reported the issue to Agoda for assistance. The room we were given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, there were holes in the bathroom walls, and mold was visible. It was nowhere near the standard described in the booking. The following morning, a different administrator located my original booking and refunded the payment for the additional room. However, they falsely claimed that I had stayed in the room I originally booked. This is not true—the room I stayed in differed significantly from the description and photos provided at the time of booking. Despite providing all necessary evidence, Agoda has refused to support my complaint, stating that the hotel confirmed my booking, which does not address the poor service, the forced additional payment, or the unacceptable condition of the room. This experience demonstrates an appalling lack of customer care from both the hotel and Agoda. As a customer, I feel my rights were ignored, and no proper resolution was provided. I expect Agoda to take accountability and address this issue properly, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Answer: Well, you probably need to call the customer service online or send them email from Agoda to get a reply. I feel that it was in vain to look for any help or compensation once your reservation has been done. Even the you overlooked some tricky information, Agoda will completely ignore what you said and push the blame to the hotel/property or the users. That is how I feel after trying so sort our the issue. Once a mistake is made, we probably can only eat it. Never expect they will admit any misinformation on line.
