Booked thru Agoda. Resort claimed they had a beach and an underwater cave. When we arrived, beach only exists at low tide between 6am and 10am. Underwater cave is a small hole under a hightop rock. Got sick from their food. Left less than 24 hours later to a different resort. Asked for a refund from both Agoda and the resort. Both locations would not refund because I did not follow their cancellation policy. After I disputed the amount thru my credit card, Agoda received the dispute only then they were willing to refund. Told them to stick it up their $#*!. Already received refund thru dispute. Never use them again.

For year I've been making use of Agoda to get the best hot deals available.
Initially I used to compare but nowadays I don't even bother because I'm assured in mind that I'm getting the best deal plus some!
I booked to stay at Monument Apartments in London through ADODA. The booking was accepted and AGODA took the money from my account.! Also received a confirmation e-mail from the Apartment Owners. It was only when I had sent off proof of identity did the Owners tell me they did not accept bookings from under 25's. The AGODA booking form merely had options for Adults or children, nothing about being under or over 25. Subsequently AGODA have taken the full charge of £120.00 plus they have also taken a cancellation fee as I cancelled the booking immediately I was told they Apartments would not give me the acces code for the apartment. I booked with AGODA in good faith and they accepted my booking - it is they who should be refunding me as they have in effect failed to fulfill their booking. I would not use them again and advise great caution in booking with them.
What is the upgrade, which you offered could not be located!
At the end before the booking is completed, you ask if I wish to pay in THB or CHF!
1. At that Point you should Show the amount in both currencies, so that Client knows what
Exchange you/your bank uses.
2. You should further offer other most common currencies.
I have used Agoda overseas and have found that I am very happy with the service as soon as you book you receive an email to confirm you booking and the fact they are connected to Virgin airlines I also get Velocity points for the booking. The Hotels in Italy, Turkey and Berlin were fantastic so I will always book with Agoda from now on.
Its our wedding anniversary wanted to book something nice and quick. How convenient and easy was this.
