Up until now I made serveral bookings on agoda.com and am very pleased with the ease of use. Recently I had to cancel a booking and due to some error in the online service had to contact customer support. Their english is very good, the persons I spoke to were very friendly and helpful and even contacted the hotel for me since I don't speak the native language. Everything got resolved with a single phone call and although I sat in the queue for a minute or two with some nice reggae playing, their support was fantastic.
Easy to book your reservation. Good prices. All credit cards accepted.
Fast and efficient just the way I like to do business. I don't have to worry about the details when their professionalism takes care of them and notifies me.

I love Agoda. It is always so easy to search and book. A good selection of search criteria make it much easier to narrow down the search for value/budget. I always use Agoda and don't imagine that's going to change anytime soon.
Great selection and good reviews of hotels by guests tht have stayed there... I really do love having other opinions when I haven't visited the country before.
I had a fantastic 4 night stay at The Danna Langkawi with my partner and two friends. We each booked grand merchant room. Four nights seemed like the perfect length of time to spend at the resort, it was enough time to relax and see some of the local sights.
The rooms were incredibly spacious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.
Service - friendly and unintrusive in all departments. Special mention must go to Fuad who is full of energy and great with the hotel guests.
Food - we tried all dining options. The a la carte meals in the main restaurant were delicious. The food in both pool and Strait & Co were casual and consistent.We tried room service one night and the service and food were delivered efficiently and tasty. The hotel is well located safe, i could see security employees on the beach and around the hotel.
For sure we will return soon.
Since I have my own experience using agoda app in my iphone and ipad, I can do all of my travelling booking during my busy day.

Quick and easy way to book the desired hotel with the best offered prices on market
I have had very good experience with agoda website booking my hotels every time I travel. There were times I had to make some changes to my booking but had difficulty doing on the website so I called the customer service no.(Singapore) late at night and the problem was resolved to my satisfaction. My call was attended to very quickly and I was not kept on hold at any given time or told by a voice recording to press random nos. For specific services which can be confusing and frustrating at times. Its a seamless friendly to use process from booking to payment and it is the best guaranteed price offered indeed.

Answer: For me as well very bad experience with this site. The administrator failed to confirm my booking in the evening, claiming they could not see it in their system and stating that the reserved room was unavailable, despite all the correct booking information being provided. Instead, they offered me a different room. At 10 PM on December 31st, traveling with a child, I had no choice but to agree and pay again for the alternative room. I immediately reported the issue to Agoda for assistance. The room we were given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, there were holes in the bathroom walls, and mold was visible. It was nowhere near the standard described in the booking. The following morning, a different administrator located my original booking and refunded the payment for the additional room. However, they falsely claimed that I had stayed in the room I originally booked. This is not true—the room I stayed in differed significantly from the description and photos provided at the time of booking. Despite providing all necessary evidence, Agoda has refused to support my complaint, stating that the hotel confirmed my booking, which does not address the poor service, the forced additional payment, or the unacceptable condition of the room. This experience demonstrates an appalling lack of customer care from both the hotel and Agoda. As a customer, I feel my rights were ignored, and no proper resolution was provided. I expect Agoda to take accountability and address this issue properly, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Answer: Well, you probably need to call the customer service online or send them email from Agoda to get a reply. I feel that it was in vain to look for any help or compensation once your reservation has been done. Even the you overlooked some tricky information, Agoda will completely ignore what you said and push the blame to the hotel/property or the users. That is how I feel after trying so sort our the issue. Once a mistake is made, we probably can only eat it. Never expect they will admit any misinformation on line.
