I have been an Amazon registered customer for years, and I have never had any problems returning my purchase for a full refund. I decided to give it a try to "Affirm", right before I checked out to pay for the item I was buying, and I wish I didn't. I end up returning the item I purchased, since I received a toy watch instead of a $224.78 dollars series (4) 40mm gold iwatch I purchased. Well, Affirm sent me a bill for $29 dollars, so when I called their customer service and told them, that I returned the item they were charging me for, they said they didn't receive a full refund from Amazon. I found that very hard to believe, so I called Amazon customer service and found out that it was a total lie! So Affirm scammed me out of $29 dollars. Stay the heck away from those SCAMMERS!
I purchased a wedge pillow from Atheina May 15,2022. Paid off the item through affirm after pay but the item stopped tracking within weeks. I tried to reach out to the company and affirm. NO HELP NOR REPLY whatsoever. It is now August. Still haven't received my item nor a response.
I used Affirm over 1 year with excellent standing. However, when I had a temporary financial glitch. I got behind. I later paid the account in full earlier than the plan. Later tried to use them again and they denied my application.
I purchased a product from Amazon, which unfortunately never arrived Amazon, promptly cancelled the order. I UNFORTUNATELY, used affirm to pay. It's been almost four months trying to get affirm to refund this loan amount. I've reported affirm to the attorney general and better business bureau The customer service agents will not fix this. They repeat over and over it's Amazon, even tho I submitted documentation from Amazon that it was cancelled. STAY FAR AWAY FROM AFFIRM. Go to AFTER PAY. So much better.
I couldn't sign into my account because they give you other people's accounts. They say it's "recycling" thier information. Is still on file when you get the account. They will keep your info in the system when your account closes! This is not okay they won't let you review them other than 3rd party websites like sit jabber.
Horrible company. Not easily accessible and has been giving me the run around regarding a refund check I never received. I wait 30 days, then when I reach back out the next rep says 30 business days and that's not what the policy online says. It's like jumping through hoops to get assistance.
Please don't use this company! They are out to take your money! I'm hiring an attorney. Worst customer service ever! It is ongoing back and forth with emails about a cancellation for plane tickets and it's impossible to get a solution resolved! I've sent EVIDENCE, opened dispute 3 times, and here we are... still going back & forth not getting a refund! Worst financial decision was to use this company! Should have done my research! Also, please if you can... report them to the bbb. Save the stress and please don't let this company screw you over like they did me.
I never contracted with Affirm to collect $19 that I owed Qlink wireless. Im not sure how they got my information, but the phone had been mailed back to Qlink, in agreement with what Qlink and I had discussed. Qlink does not have mobile hotspot and therefore is of no use to me. Yet this company, Affirm, repeatedly calls me (6 times in one day) and hangs up on me when I tell them the phone has been returned and was never activated. Finally Affirm told me that they were going to ruin my credit by reporting this to a credit bureau. When I called Qlink they said they are not affiliated with any company called Affirm and had never contracted with them to collect over due accounts. (My account was 16 days past due) Some websites state that Affirm is a legit company, and maybe they are in some aspects, but, believe me, they are partaking in some underhanded dealings as well
I was only 3 days late with a payment and they will never let me use again would never recommend to anyone!
They suck. I bought a iMac and iPhone from Macofalltrades.com last year through Affirm, paid everything off ahead of time and then tonight tried to use my Affirm account to buy a second iMac. They came back with a denial saying my identity could not be verified and that I would need to take it up with Transunion and that was final. I checked my Transunion account and there were no problems. I got a Pay Later account through my PayPal account to make the purchase and it literally took less than a minute to set up and purchase. Again, Affirm just sucks.
Bought a phone through Samsung. Affirm offered four payments instead of one. Signed up. Returned phone. Acepted by samsung. Still getting billed by affirm. Cant talk to anybody to fix billing for something I returned. I advise everybody no to deal with this company. I will never again!
My baby order a apple laptop for collage and wait 3 months to tell me she never got it. Affirm was taking money out of my account and when I called about the issue was told I was over a 120 days later for this and that why I never get my stuff and so I lawyer up on them and they keep calling trying to fix a issue that was never handle in the begin and they have to clear up my credit as well and please go to the bbb and get a lawyer for this crooks.
They have my phone number incorrect, have tried several times to correct phone number with no success. I do not think anyone works in customer service. All I get is thank you for your payment! I cannot even look at my account. DON'T use, there are other Financial Institutes institutes that are so much better!
I've used multiple times and this last time the merchant next shipped my item and keep saying the same thing each time when asked. Disputed with affirm they investigated and resolved it in my favor once I provided all the evidence I had that I had been scammed..
Called twice, hung up on first time then second rep did not answer any questions or was trained to fix any issues. Total waste of time calling
On Dec 14,2020 there was a loan opened in my name from Affirm in the amount of $3,034. Upon trying to purchase a car on Nov 30,2022 I was notified that my credit score was very low. I went to Experian to see why my credit score was low, that was when I noticed the Affirm account (among others) on my report. I attempted to reach out to Affirm multiple times to resolve the issue, however I could not gain access to further information about the account because I was unable to answer the security questions or verify my identity. Finally I was able to work with someone in Affirm that allowed me access (despite the security questions) and was able to submit a fraud dispute. The dispute results were rejected immediately and the loan remained with a balance due. From there I submitted a police report, Affidavit, CFPB Report, IDtheft.gov report, and still it remains on my report and gets rejected within minutes. The customer service is absolutely ridiculous. I have hired an attorney to take care of the situation and file a lawsuit against Affirm. I suggest anyone else do the same. If this were just removed, this whole process would not have to happen.
Worst service I've ever experienced! I wish I'd have read the reviews first. I had only made one payment and had it set on auto pay. My bank card was compromised so I had to shut it down. They let me know that they couldn't get the payment to go through so I went to their site to add the new card. When I got it set up it said this payment and the rest will all come out on the 25th of each month. So, seemed like it was all set. The next day they said I needed to make my payment so I called. The lady I spoke with had poor English and spoke so fast that I couldn't understand what she was saying. She said the bank card was rejected. I explained I had put in the new card number and got it set up on auto pay. She continued to say I needed to make the payment. She read the new number to me. I said that's correct so take the payment out of that account. She kept saying the card got rejected on the due date which was the day before I was speaking with her. I told her I understand but I put in a new card. She continued being ignorant so I asked her to let me speak to another person which of course no one ever answered.
So, I hung up. Went to their site and paid the whole account off with the new card I gave her that she kept saying was rejected. Then I removed all of my info. So very unprofessional and difficult to deal with.
I recently got the Samsung S22 plus through a firm's website. Prior to me making this purchase I contacted affirm twice trying to guarantee the terms and conditions. Both representatives stated the bill will not be due until exactly a month later. I get the phone and my bill is due 14 days later I call affirm to figure out what's going on and they pretty much stated they can't do anything about it because I signed the agreement on the checkout. I talked to a so called supervisor who stated nothing can done because of I signed the agreement on the checkout. I istated isn't all your calls recorded he stated at yes, so if you can go back to your calls you will see that your employees too told me the same thing.he still stated "nothing can be done and if it was miscommunication we would talk to our representatives goodbye"
I made a purchase that I didn't get for 2 months…I ended up paying Affirm $166.50 on my loan, canceling the order I didn't get. Out of nowhere some weeks later I received the order and the product is nothing like what was advertised…before the package came I opened a dispute through Affirm against the company because it was not responding to my correspondence…I sent evidence and Everything Affirm asked for, this has been almost 2 months ago. I still don't have my refund from either place…Don't use Affirm if there the potential that you may have to request a refund.
Answer: On paper legit, sort of, but really a scam. They aren't even who you are financing with.
Answer: I had heard of the company because a friend actually knows the owner. Very sorry I did worst experience I have ever had.
Answer: It's not. They now also are charging large interest amounts. Don't use them.
Answer: Follow Walmart's lead... don't use them! Affirm makes everything complicated.
