DO NOT BOTHER!
June 18, 2022

Apparently, I signed up for the cash price if it was paid off entirely within 90 days (no interest would be applied). Unfortunately, not paying it off in 90 days makes the entire purchase almost $2000 more because you are subject to paying the entire interest of loan even if paid off early. Do yourself a favor and by no means do this. I spoke to Daisja before the 90 days were up where I paid 3/4 of the loan off and she never mentioned to pay the balance within a month to avoid paying interest (mind you i never expected to be charged interest for 21 months paying an extra $2000 for a couch that is not even decent quality). Worst company I have ever dealt with and shocking that Rooms To Go furniture store does business with these people.

Almost 4000 dollars in interest biggest $#*!ing rip off ever stay away from this business!

AcceptanceNow is nothing more than a predatory lender that has no integrity. They have poor customer service, horrible web application, and rely on threatening tactics to deal with customers instead of actually looking at how they can improve their horrible service and service options. Their web site is difficult to navigate, fails to even think about making the customer experience useful, when they try to contact you they call from numbers ATT has listed as spam, dont leave messages, and send threatening, zero context SMS messages. Please see your purchasing solutions from ANYONE beside them. BBB complaint filed

Disappointed
April 7, 2022

Acceptance now try to take money out of my credit card without my permission I am disappointed I get notification from Credit card company I had no idea that they would try to take money out of my account without my permission. I cancel auto pay months after cancellation acceptance now try to take money out of my account this is for a Nintendo switch, one game, a case for the game, and a headset roughly $400 retail price for everything but I'm paying almost triple the price with acceptance now. I do not recommend for any purchase going to be paying double the price better off saving money then paying full price for the purchase.

This company should be shut down for taking advantage of people. I was not explained the whole contract and everything is emailed to you after signing it. My kids bunk bed was $1400 and after paying $800, $600 went to interest after the 90 days. Only 30 % goes to my principles and 70% goes in their pocket.

Terrible policies
March 18, 2022

Purchased furniture from company and what was due was very minimum. Did not realize my 120 days was over 10 days before I went to pay last payment and now owe double the price of the furniture when what was owed is less than $100.00. This company needs to send emails about what is owed or something stating the last 30 days within an email. I believe there is no contact because this is a way to have a person pay double for the furniture.

Me and my gf were looking for a mattress and couldn't get approved through the standard financing (wells fargo), so we applied for this program and got accepted. They said we got accepted for up to 3,000 but our mattress was only 1500, the lady said "you wanna add more stuff", I laughed, then she said our payments would only be around 270 a month and how great of a deal it was. I asked her about the interest, she said it increases overtime but never gave me a real number or how it increased.

Eventually, after talking with her for over 30 mins and asking non stop questions, she finally threw me a bone and said it'd cost us over 3700 in total if we only made the standard monthly payments. I asked her what if we paid it off within the first 4 months and she said it'd still cost over 2,200.

The lady convinced my gf it wasn't "that bad" and we could pay it off fast if we wanted to, she said we "really needed it" and "mattresses are hard to get", it got to the point where it was her and my gf vs me, I told her no and my gf no. The interest is $#*!ed, the payments seem scammy, they have no direct website to pay (you have to call in to pay) and the numbers kept changing throughout the convo.

These people are like payday lenders, or bad credit used car dealerships, they target financially illiterate people who don't really understand loans, money, or interest.

If you read this much, don't do it, don't fall for the trap

Financial Nightmare
February 12, 2022

There is only 1 time I might suggest this as an option, if you already know you will pay it off in the grace period, otherwise you will end up owning 3-4 times as much as you intended on paying. But for credit building, it works as long as you make payments on time, but my advice is, there are better options. You can take a loan out from your bank for an amount that you already have in the bank, it builds credit and it is a hell of a lot safer. AcceptanceNow can really put you in a deep financial hole, quickly, so the idea of buying something and building credit through them, not worth the risk. My personal example, I need to pay $1974 within 90 days, otherwise the amount I will have to pay is $6196. 88 (plus tax).

This company is terrible! In November I tried to get a bedroom set. They said I'd not be charged until I received merchandise. They have taken over $300 from me and it's January and I still have no merchandise. I went to cancel and be refunded they said I would not get my money back… I never received any merchandise! How can you have someone pay for something they do not have? Terrible company and Bobs Furniture is terrible too. They swore no payment until you receive the merchandise. They lie! Do NOT buy anything from them.

Purchased 2 of 4 items through My own checking account and after the horrible delivery where they took my front door off and left with it off I noticed after paying twice that my balance wasn't right. I made 5 payment in 120 days and they left me after 3 weeks of attempts to get someone to fix the balance with no resolution forced before Xmas to pay 1500 when the initial cost was 2000... acceptance Now doesn't want a payment in 120 days. They want to make triple and I called and spent so many hours previous to my 120 days and nobody cared.

Pay off in 90 days or don't apply
December 3, 2021

Rented or leased a washer and dryer for $1400. I was approved for $4000. If I don't pay my balance off within 90 days the total amount I paid up to 90 days will be subtracted from the $4000 and I will have to pay the new balance. Brandsmart did not explain that to me at all. Brandsmart said I will have to pay a tax on my total owed from the $1400. If you read all the reviews you will see that acceptance are crooks. Do not apply unless you plan on paying it off in 90 days which is same as cash.

I utilized Acceptance *******@American Signature Furniture in Jacksonville, FL. The people were courtesy and upfront regarding the cost/fees/interest charges. AN is Rent-A-Center under another name. If you know how these companies work, you understand that you pay double and in some cases, triple what the merchandise actually cost. This is the price one must pay for having bad credit. It isn't rocket science.

This is the good ole US of A and it's how things work in this country. Like it, love it or hate it, it is what it is. I gave them 4 stars not because I enjoy paying more for furniture but, because I was able to get the furniture I wanted and they were there for me when I needed financing and couldn't get it from anywhere else and they were upfront about everything.

The rest is up to me. I have to do what I need to do to get it paid off and minimize as much of the interest charges as possible. It's definitely not the best means of getting furniture, but it is a means. If it doesn't work for you, then go elsewhere. It's that simple.

RIP OFF COMPANY
November 17, 2021

On July 7th, 2021 I went into VCV to purchase a Chest and Book shelf, was told that the items would be delivered on August 24th. Didn't received these items until October. Still had to pay for the goods although I didn't receive same on the EDD. When the items were delivered the book shelf couldn't go upstairs to where I wanted it to go hence it was returned. I had opted to pay off the entire amount in 120 days which would have been November 6th 2021. Based on the amount that I already paid it would have covered the cost of the chest with a refund from AcceptanceNOW who wanted me to pay more and if I overpaid they would refund the surplus to my card. I said no way I am not paying anymore. I was then told that I have to sign a new agreement seeing that the book shelf was returned so I wasn't supposed to pay anymore $ towards the account until I heard from head office. Got an email from head office stating that the new agreement starts today and I have until March to pay off the balance of nearly $300. So I asked what am I paying this money for? The chest cost a little over $1,100 and I paid over $1,200, do the MATH. All that you paid didn't go towards the merchandise, so where did it go? Underneath your mother? You all need to go do a Maths and Accounts course because you don't know SH$$ as to what you all doing. I told the lady that all I know is that they are a FU@&king thief and a PU@&$hole and hang up my phone. If you go to any VCV store please people don't use AcceptanceNOW now, there are white collared CRIMINALS

Don' t do it!
November 17, 2021

In December 2020, I ordered two bed frames for my daughter and I. Each bed cost 599.99 which equals to $1200. 00, plus delivery we will round this up to $1500. 00 total. After making 11 payments thus far, I Have paid close to $2000. 00 already and somehow still owe $1200. 00. The total cost of our beds will end up being $3367 which is triple the cost. Not to mention, when delivered one of the drawers was broken and the delivery men did not tell me. Instead they taped the broke piece and left without saying a word. This is a scam and they should be closed due to their upcharging none quality furniture. I will never use Bobs again and certainly will NEVER use Acceptance Now. They take advantage of the poor and make getting ahead next to impossible. I have reported them to the BBB. Try facebook marketplace and craigslist over this scam and cheap quality furniture.

Rental fee
October 28, 2021

They are a scam! How could a 1200. 00 loveseat become a total of 3500. 00? When the total 3 piece cost that amount no one told me after 120 days it's considered rental fee. I said this is a loan I transfer my loveseat over to your company to get it off layaway. Plus the credit from Value City. Talk with the manager she sends me a email and said that corporate credit this amount so you only owes 1500. 00. I said is that include the payments that I make, she said no that is your balance. I said my balance should be around 450.00. So, the payments I made is just gone to waste. I said I'm reporting the scam you guys are running on your customer. This will be reported to the BBB.
