Acceptance Now to me is like a Loan Shark... Whatever you all do...Don't go with Acceptance Now I have one more payment and I will be done with them.I don't ever want to do business with them... Their hidden fees are way over the top...I really like my furniture with Rooms to go...BUT I HATE ACCEPTANCE NOW...TIMES IS TOO HARD TO PAY DOUBLE FOR THE FURNITURE IN THE 100 days...RUN PEOPLE RUN.I WISHED I HAD OF LOOKED AT THE REVIEWS FIRST...GOOD DAY WE

Beat around the bush.

If you arent direct with your questioning, and dont read. This company will take you for a ride. I was trying to finance about 900 bucks. I was approved immediately for acceptance and the rep absolutely would NOT answer my questions. He was very young and trying to spare me the interest charges by telling me to pay within 120 days. I like to prepare for the worst so I asked for figures on 6 months, 12 months, and 24 months and he said it was impossible to give me those numbers. Then he wrote down on the application the "principal minums" which just had a dollar amount, and number of payments. No total. Turns out out if you do a little math you can find your "impossible" number. Which is roughly double the financed amount if you take the longest term to pay. I got lucky with a rep that didn't seem to care much; and I had my wits about me. However I'm sure some of these clerks are TOTAL SHARKS. Don't get caught bleeding in the water. I left the store and bought with PayPal financing instead.

Thieves and scammers

One star is too much for these thieves, scammers and shameless you will pay for the most expensive furniture in the world with this company, when you think you are finishing paying they continue to charge you indefinitely and you never know how much you owe in total, it is better to return the furniture because You don't know if you will pay 4 or 5 times their total value. Thieves and cheeky and the worst thing is that they work in "prestigious" furniture stores

Worst furniture payments I made. Bought 4 chairs worth $125 each so that's $500 for all I did automatic payments every month so that I won't miss payment or go further 90days so why didn't they cut the payments in 3months for automatic payments? So what's the use of automatic payments with this company then after 90days even if you're set up in automatic payment you'll have to pay $600 more for just 4 chairs. Its so Ridiculous! I hope this company get in trouble for doing this. Fooling customers to get more money.

Scam

I went through acceptance now to get furniture when I moved. As the time has gone on my payoff amount has INCREASED. I've been making payments since November, and its basically like a payment has not been made. Because "too much time" has passed so they add so many fees.( The couch was 2500 and now they say I owe 3500 even after paying for 7 months) The second you are a day late on payments they will start harassing you, and everyone you know. I called and said I no longer want to be part of this and they told me I have owned the furniture for too long and I will still be responsible for payments even if they take it! Which none of this happens for any other loan I have EVER been a part of. This should be 100% illegal to do. It is a HUGE scam. Do not use them.

Don't do it

I was approved for $2700. For some furniture, through Acceptance Now, they've been taking out my account $372. Since December 2022, I called them today to see how much I owe, they told me I have to pay $372. For 15 more months. I'm furious

RUN they are scam artist I thought that I was getting a good deal and they would report to my credit but after the initial 4 months they charge you twice the balance and your payoff never goes down even after paying months and months. They also lied and said they report to the credit bureau but they no longer do you're paying these high interest rates and it's not even being reported to the credit bureau. Bob's Furniture but they need to cut ties with Acceptance Now.

They are scammers. I didn't want the furniture anymore. I asked them to pick it up and they never did. I called the Frederick, MD store multiple times from the end of January to March to arrange their merchandise to be pick-up. No one picked it up. They gave me a runaround about waiting on their district manager. I also waited for their manager meeting so they can give me updates. I also waited for their district manager to return from vacation because the store had no updates.
Lastly, I called the customer service line. That was no help. I should've saved my energy. The district manager is rude. I waited for Neary four months to hear from the district manager, Christine. Christine acknowledges my effort of calling them to pick. However, I abandoned the merchandise for not giving them proper time to arrange a pick-up. Basically, i heard non-senses.
I followed all the proper steps. Renter centers didn't want to pick their products. There were three stores near my previous residence. The Frederick value city in Maryland, please don't bother. From one fool, please same your time money up. Then buy

I made a purchase of $1500+ and paid off my balance within the 90 days payment period to avoid being charged interest. For some reason unbeknownst to me my final payment was deducted from my BOA account and the acceptance now representative claims that she can't find my payment on her system. These people are a scam waiting to happen. They give you the run around about your payment not showing up on their system so you can become frustrated and cancel the transaction then they can say you didn't meet the 90 days deadline so they can charge interest because that how they make their money. Stinking $#*! thieves.

Less than one star actually! Finished paying them off in March, they're continuing to bill my account and are giving me the runaround now that I've made them aware and am asking for my refund. Corporate told me to go to local and local referred me back to corporate. I also have tried to manage my auto pay and the website won't let me remove it. I'm going to let my bank know that they're committing fraud and will more than likely have to go to small claims court.

A Big Joke

This company is a scam.Says no credit check everyone approved lol right. I've used them before paid it off no missed payment. Now We get denied. Had my son apply they approved him for 600 what a $#*!ing joke. What the hell is 600 dollars in the store lol a lamp a rug? Lol also the product we did buy had a warranty the refrigerator went bad. Paid over 3 grand only to fight an argue to get it fixed or replaced. They brought me a plain refrigerator that cost 900 bucks. But milked me out of 3 grand. We can also go into the rent a center an buy anything no matter the cost. But yet can't get a dam couch through big sandys or value city. Same company they use for a rent to own.

There site doesn't give the full balance, balance due, or the last date of your plan you signed up for details only the amount of due on the scheduled payment. They do not work with the customers on the extended payment plan if paid a day or 2 late. My less than a thousand dollar sofa turned into 1700 cause I paid my last payment on my 90 day payoff 2 days late since I couldn't make the balance online or get to the location before they closed. Out of the 3 agents I've talked too only 1 was nice, friendly & seemed to care about the customer. I will never use their service again. This was at the Forest Park, Ga location. The hours posted say 9 pm closing but they close an hour earlier. Be careful & use your own tracking if you do decide to use them cause they care more about making more money then serving the customers.

Poor Service Hidden Fees

Please make sure you read and understand your rental agreement I thought I got a good deal with the 90 same as cash program but I ended up paying 1700 for a 1200 couch because of taxes fees delivery warranty (tips) basically whatever they can charge you for all while I paid it off in the 90 days! Then I called the rooms to go store and acceptance now custer service and they both were rude and hung up in my face after minutes of back n forth I still didnt understand why all of my money wasnt going towards the couch and it was a very bad experience. Never will use them again.
