I never do reviews, but I have been waiting for a chair to be delivered for nearly a month and a half. At the time of order, the chair was supposed to arrive within three weeks. They do not use UPS or Fedex for shipping, so you can't see where your order is be held up. Their tracking tool says in transit, which it has supposedly been in transit for nearly a month. I have messaged them through their application online, but have only received an automated email saying they are looking into it. The wait to get to customer service via phone has been 45 minutes to 1 hour every time I have called. I am currently waiting now, and the wait time has gone from 3 minutes, to now 35 minutes and is rising. I have already been on the phone now for over 30 minutes. FYI- Don't choose the option to be called back, they don't call you back! Horrible Customer Service!
After 15 years, I finally decided to buy new living room furniture. I placed my order on April 18th, and received email confirmation asking me to call to verify my address. During this call, I was asked if I wanted the throw pillows with the sofas. Umm, aren't those included? Oh no, they aren't. Even though they are part of the description on the website, the pillows were separate, I was told. Even worse, they would be $40 each to buy separately or $300 to buy the whole set. When I protested, he " found" me a coupon that took some money off but I still paid over $200 for pillows that other places include. I emailed the company and told them I didn't appreciate it, and they were sorry, but that was all. Fast forward to now... my furniture has been at the delivery terminal six hours away for almost a month. I have emailed repeatedly and the customer service people seem to be doing their best, but they couldn't seem to get any updates. I finally asked them for the delivery company number to see if I could get through to someone. It took three tries to even get anyone to answer my questions. She assured me that everything was there, they were just having trouble scheduling a truck because of Covid restrictions. So, I waited and waited. Finally got an email last week from company saying the delivery people would call to schedule delivery by Tuesday. Well, it's Wednesday. No call, no update, no furniture, and I'm just done. I've requested a refund if it's not here by the end of the week, but from the looks of things on previous reviews, that's going to be a struggle too. Being understanding and patient hasn't gotten me anywhere, so I guess I'll have to be a jerk.
MISLEADING ADVERTISING.
1.- They charged an extra fee of $ 125.00 for foreign delivery after completing the purchase, when the website says FREE In Home Delivery.
2.- The waiting time for the table to arrive was more than 1 month.
3.- The table in the image comes with chairs, at the time of delivery I was surprised to just see the table and check on the website and the chairs are more expensive than the table
4.- The operator to solve the problem does not seem to like her work and she was rude and did not help at all.
5.- Now they will charge $ 1.75 per pound for returning the item and $ 75 for removing it from stock.
TERRIBLE SERVICE
The picture is worth a thousand words - fantastic! We ordered our table and eight chairs; sight unseen. We had never touched the table or sat in the chairs.
So many fears run through your mind when ordering furniture from a website: What if it's cheaply made? What if it doesn't look how it did on the website? What if the chairs are uncomfortable? What if it never comes? If it does come, what if my order is wrong? What if the website was not reputable?
The Pros: Our table and chairs all arrived together within the expected timeframe. Delivery was great. The table is sturdy and well-made. Our chairs are very comfortable. It looks gorgeous and exactly like it did on the website. The extendable leaf is so easy to use, it is unbelievable.
Assembly: For this set, table assembly was hard for two people because the components are so heavy - I think the weight is part of what makes it a good table. The chairs were tricky to put together as well. However, the instructions were clear and, with a little fancy maneuvering and sheer force of will, we got it done.
The Cons: Upon unboxing the set, there was light dirt on a handful of chairs. I expected this, in a sense, because I ordered white furniture. The dirt came right off with a tiny bit of water and just a little dishsoap on a microfiber cloth. Of the nine pieces of furniture, one chair has a small puncture and tear on the backrest. I am going to see if there is anything that 1StopBedrooms can do to help us with this. I will leave a follow-up to tell you how that goes. Other than that, it was a perfect buying experience.
Don't ever order from this company worst company ever scam don't even think they are real. Buyer beware this is warning never do business.
I bought a recliner and reclining loveseat from this company! I am a small person, and the reclining mechanism in this furniture turned out to be too hard for me to put the footrest down. So, I called and told them I would like to return this set, after having it a total of 2 days, and I wanted to buy a more expensive set that had the power reclining mechanism. As with others I have read, they were going to charge me the restocking fee and $175 per lb. to return it. My refund would have been a little over $400 on $1100 worth of furniture, even though I was going to turn around and buy a more expensive set. So, now I am stuck with furniture that I will hardly use! What happened to customer satisfaction, anyway?
They suck... ordered because of the pricing and supposed free white glove shipping/set up
Got a text and email asking that I call them... they said they don't ship to either of my areas even though they're both populous. Bu they could for $249! Nope... used Coleman Furniture again! Also the BBB has a stern warning about using them
I have purchased a bedroom set though this company. After two weeks I got a email that one item is discontinued. And why still advertising it? Huge disappointment. Trying to call to check the status of my order it's been over a month from April to June. I cannot get a hold of anyone. I get a call back after 2 days. My first time to shop to this company and I am very disappointed on there service.
Ordered coffee table. Came FedEx with a few bumps in the box - I took pictures first - opened it up and a big chunk is missing from the front and a big crack in the wood in the rear. Unstraped it and the chunk missing from the front was sealed INSIDE. I have contacted 1StopBedrooms and have gotten ZERO response to this.
They will refuse to refund you your full amount if the order is on backorder and charge you a restocking and Shipping fee which does not make any sense if the item is on backorder and never received
Simple order process, I ordered online, emails along every step of delivery. I never got any upsell phone calls or anything like that. The only snag was day of delivery the truck had mechanical issues, so they rescheduled for a week later. That was actually the delivery company not 1stops fault. Furniture was still delivered 30 days after order, faster than 4-6 weeks quoted. Happy customer here!
I placed an order on 2/1/2020 for a dining table and chair set. My delivery was delayed then due to apparent defects with the set once delivered to the 3rd party delivery company and that took so long that it ran into the global pandemic. Fast forward to finally receiving my order in May 2020. I immediately noticed that I did not receive the type of chairs I ordered. When I called the Claims Department, the rep was by far the rudest, most unprofessional person I've ever encountered. I tried explaining the situation and he was totally uninterested and continued saying it was my fault and he didn't know what to tell me. I then tried calling the sales department to see if it was my fault and possibly try to order the right chairs. The rep who answered told me the chairs with hooks was not sent because "they were not sold anymore." Imagine my surprise to hear this since the picture on the website shows chairs with hooks (which was a selling point). I then tried to speak with customer service AGAIN via email and FB Messenger (since I couldn't get through via the phone for days) and I was told the chairs in the picture (the ones with hooks) are actually not part of the set but part of decorations. At this point I was livid! Not only is this false advertising but not a single person tried to help with compensation or a proper resolution. When a person is shopping online for a chair set, they want to see the actual CHAIR SET being sold and why this simple concept is not understood by this company is beyond me. However, I do plan on filing several complaints and raising this issue further so no one will have to go through what I've been through.
Never informed me they don't have the item in stock. Charged my card and then send an email two days later the item out of stock and I will get my refund in 2 days. Waited a week, they never call you, they never answer the phone. I think they are scammers and fraud. I sent several emails, calls and no luck. Calling my bank to report the fraud.
Very efficient and kind. Went out of their way to make sure this couch fit absolutely great job. And the couch is amazing
Most the reviews I've found for them elsewhere are fake! Here's my real experience:
Ordered from them. They wait until after their hassle free cancellation period (which I'm now sure would not be hassle free) to then charge extra for shipping to your non-remote remote location. Parts of the order get put on back order bit by bit until it's projected delivery date gets to be way past the original. Then, if you want to cancel it, they try to keep most the money. Seriously. They wanted to refund me $500 of a $1700 order as a restocking fee for things that aren't in stock, let alone shipped. Don't bother trying to call them. You can call as their supposed offices open at 9 and already be the "59th caller in line." They'll call you back in the evening to read you a script and be of no actual help. I can't imagine what a hassle it would be to have to report subpar items once they arrived.
I'm never ordering from them again! I order a thousand dollars bed set from them and I elected to have to white glove service! Unbeknownst to me it was a bait and switch! After I checked out, it told me to call and have the white glove set up! After I called they told me I had not selected white glove service! When I indeed did! So they got my business under false pretense then fold me I had to pay $200.00 for the white glove service! Their customer service was obnoxious and low class! I received the drawers to my bed damaged as well! They sent out a replacement, and that came damaged as well! I will never refer anyone to and will go elsewhere to furnish the rest of my house! Disgusting!
Customer service is awful. Ordered a bedroom set and was told everything was available then got a notification within a few days after that part of the order is out of stock... whatever, stuff happens.
THEN... I finally receive my order to find out I paid an additional $400 for something that no one can prove or explain the difference of. I ask about it and immediately got an attitude from the customer service rep and was given no help. A simple explanation of the difference in the bed frames would have been fine, but if you can't provide proof that there was a change and I paid $400 for it, I feel scammed and want my money back.
I bought a king canopy bed and the company was fantastic, even with covid going on. They were quick to respond to me. I had the delivery set up in no time with the white glove service and the team was fantastic!
I just received my delivery and loving it looks so good too soon to attest durability but praying for satisfaction the media chest is much larger than I expected but much more beautiful too

This does depend on some factors that can change the delivery window such as if an item is in stock and what warehouse it ships from. If you call and talk to one of our live salesman they can give you a more accurate delivery window. Thank you!
