A bank that does not help at all when you have a money problem, this is the only bank that does not help with waiving overdraft or nsf fees. Do not change banks, only use this bank if you have not other alternative.
Just to sum up recent events. Someone got in my account and spent $350. This lovely bank that claims putting customers first is a load of crap. They're forcing me to pay a fee to open a new account even tho my previous was hacked into. As far as the charge back goes, they can't do anything. I filed a dispute with their customer service and that was in February. Here I am in April and no one has contacted me. I've called and called and either end up hanging up because I'm on hold forever or they just say we're still looking into it and we'll get back to you soon. I got mailed a fraudulent check, i deposited via mobile banking app which it accepted. It locked my account. I didn't know it was fraud i explained and showed them messages and i basically thought it was for this mystery shopper job. Anyway walmart didnt tell me it was fraud at the money center they just could not cash it. He said the numbers were a little high. I didnt know. He even said i should try it on the app since the bank was closed. I didnt know ive been banking with this $#*!ty bank for years and now they are trying to restrict my access over some bull$#*!. I cant even talk to the man in charge to plea my case. $#*! first convenience
In mist of the COVID19, the employees are not abiding by the 6ft distancing and not wearing gloves. They want the customers to keep their distance but not the employees.
Hi I'm so emotional and embarrassed to tell anyone I bank with First Convenience Bank no Convenience about the bank, the Attitudes of their employees ( La Tanya # *******, not sure if this is her right bldg ID) anyway, so much to say. Dealing with virus 19 know as Corona, First Convenience Bank is making a profit with overdraft charges to there customers in this Tragedy time, charging there customers 35 dollars if they have an overdraft protection. An insult to anyone's intelligence. Shame on your Bank. Look at your competitors their not charging there customers. I will be looking for a New Bank starting tomorrow.
Very bad customer service.
Waited more than two weeks for an answer for a overdraft fee. After dealing with at least four employees and finally presenting my self upset, they took care of my issue. Each employee had a different version on what the process for reviewing this issues was. One said that her bosses where in meetings Monday thru Wednesday and could not get an answer, after that I did not received any calls or notications about my situation. After this, another employee said I was put on a list and that when it was my turn then they will look into it. Another two just didn' t returned my call.
Another issue, debit card keeps getting rejected paying home internet services. They have no idea why!
Another issue, my gym made a mistake and charge my account several times, So First "Convinience Bank" charged me 134 total overdraft fees, I explain this to them and they said they will not remove the charges since they had remove one as courtesy that I should deal with the gym in getting th money back from them. I know is not their fault, but it was a mistake and the gym did provide a letter for them stating this, still they don't care. Know I am stuck with a negative balance of four overdrafts fees plus one more of $ 34.00 for a negative balance for more than 7 days. I know its the gym mistake but still this bank is profiting from customer and not who made the mistake. So the manager from th Refund department said not to return the overdrafts fees because it was already done as courtesy one time!
Comparing to other banks; this one does not provide up to date ATM, app services, and most important a reliable customer service.
So I don't know why they state putting customers first in their values.
Today I went to the bank to cash in all the quarters that I have accumulated over that last 6 months. I was giving this extra money to my son. Anyway last night he got excited so we counted them. 69.00 was the total. Today I went to cash them in and added the ones in my car. Total now is 74.00. When I arrived the teller took them and dumped them into the coin counter. As she was doing this it got stuck. So she messed with it even taking it apart. There were two coin stuck together she handed back to me. She finished and came back and told me it was 48.00. I told her no way I knew what I had. I think it reset when she took it apart. Anyway she said there was nothing she could so I had 48.00. After I complained again she talked to the branch manager whom said the same thing. No resolution. Even after I left and a temper to speak to costumer service which was terrible at the best to get though. There is no resolution. I am so pissed they have been my bank for over 3 years. But won't be much longer. Hate to think I deposit 7k at a time. And they don't care. It's not allot of money. However it's enough to make me switch. Very disappointed. Don't use them.
My wife got stopped in the grocery store and was talked in to opening up a savings account with this "bank". She deposited $100 to open the account. 'Upon reading the fine print of paperwork, I noticed there was $12 monthly fee if you didn't deposit $100 each month, and a $5 fee for paper statements. The following month she deposited $100. When the monthly statement came, sure enough, there was the $12 fee. I called the *******490 number to question the charge and was on hold for 45 minutes listening to a recording tell me over and over again that my hold time would be greater that 10 minutes. Forget that, I hung up and we went to the local branch the next day. We were told because my wife had made purchases on the card that month, that purchase amount was subtracted from the $100 deposit, so the deposit did not total $100. Thereby we were charged $12. I told them to cancel the account. We were told that there would be a "new account closing fee" of $25 in order for us to close the account. WTH?
So riddle me this? We deposit $100, they take $12 of it, plus the $5 statement fee. We then close the account and get charged a $25 closing fee. That's $42 in fees... to get our money back. That's one hell of a savings account.
DO NOT USE THIS PREDATORY BANK. WE MADE A COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE IN ARIZONA. SOMEONE SHOULD FILE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM FOR FRAUD.
I swear to God this is such a POS Bank. It was a huge mistake to ever have opened. An account here. I have been using them for five years now. Every paycheck for past 5 years has been deposited I applied for. An auto loan on a $27,000 vehicle. I was putting $14,000 down. And they did not want to lend me the money. But that is not why I think they are a crappy. Bank.
In five years never been charged a fee its seems like the negative reviews come from people who are NOT Financially responsible Never have I been charged a NSF fee no monthly fees My only complaint is when you do go into a branch to make a deposit the tellers too busy talking instead of working to move the line but most times I use the mobile app to make deposits and never had a problem period
First Convenience Bank will purposely make you over draft and charge you 34 dollars. They will hold your auto bills payments.to where you don't have the funds and that's when "they" decided to let the auto payment go through. App statements doesn't match with what the statement is shown on their end(which I can't see)customers service is the worst, every time i call I have to wait 20 minutes before to actually talk with someone. Last time I spoke with (Paul)who was just rude with an attitude. Although (Paul)did apologize I was disgusted with the service.
Do not know how to interact with customers when asking questions and being told back in forth its one another when it's only 1 person's fault being lied to in person by a manager who's walking away laughing at me stating she doesn't work at the company and she couldn't help me and the service is I was therefore they don't do in bank only over phone Customer service giving me the run around back in for China me that it is in store don't know hold she believed didn't wanna give me a receipt of the merchant return Stated would get fired if was to give me information that I was asking for to show proof that they sent over was kind of fishy how they were texting boss to let him know that they had to send this over when they should be a company no good customer service at all should retrain phones reps n in bank reps Give them more knowledge to read over n learn would not recommend any one
I was trying to call my bank to check up on my account and after I put in my Social Security Number, it said it was incorrect. This bank is a joke and it needs to be investigated because I'm not the only one who has a problem with it.
They will rob you with unethical practices. Will hold payments to the last second before you have no cash showing on your app then post them to get you with fees.
I've been with this bank for 4 years. I deal with a lot of transactions for work. Quit flagging my Goddamn account for normal every week activities. And because they keep flagging my account I cant use my card, and Bill's that automatically come out get $#*!ed up because they can't be paid. I'm pissed. This $#*!ing $#*! happens again and I'm closing out my account. They told me one time I couldn't take out 5k at a time. I'm sorry I have businesses I need to attend to. Be a better damn bank.
I have been with this bank for almost two years and I have been treated so we'll Everytime I needed anything or questions it was taken care of fast and easy. First I got a fresh start loan and payed that off, then got a smart cash loan and just payed that off. I'm very happy with this bank..
I originally opened an account with this bank as a Joint account with my boyfriend because we needed an account to put his first check in cause he didn't have any money. But when I wanted to open a savings account they said "How About we just open a secondary checking's account." they don't want their customers to open savings accounts? Like really then on of the ladies were really judgemental about me opening the joint account if I just wanted to go away with it later. Now I'm stuck with 12$ over draft fees every week I don't make at least 8 purchases or have $200+ in the joint... I get paid every TWO WEEKS LIKE A NORMAL PERSON.
The worse bank to do business with they block my debit and close my account cuz Reason confidential They didn't told me anything and I very upset cuz I don't think the that is business should've handle stay away from bank they annoying and wanna be in people business I don't give them zero cuz it doesn't let me
