I received a shipment which was supposed to contain a xmas gift I ordered on 12/20/18. When I opened the box it was not my item and not my name on packing slip. And something really ugly! Emailed three times and got nothing but the canned response. Very poor customer service

Does the item you received MATCH or come close, to the sizing chart you were shown at the time of your purchase? WRITE THIS DOWN WHEN YOU ORDER! If not, get a supervisor & insist on a refund! If the merch is not presented appropriately, (and 80% of the time it's not!) then you have every right for 1 of 2 things to happen... They must EXCHANGE the item for one matching the sizing posted, (not gonna happen ladies) or they may refund the purchase! No loopholes girls. If they refuse, call your bank! A GOOD bank will back you up (credit OR debit) oh, and they MUST provide you with a FREE RETURN SHIPPING LABEL! Hope this helps, then perhaps they'll finally Get The Message.
Zulily used to be good. They used to sell excess products from reputable department stores. So... i ordered two sweaters as Christmas gifts. Not cheap - totalling around 75.00. I ordered on Nov 28th. It is now Dec 31st and NOTHING. I now find out they're selling crap from China, and blaming the federal government shutdown for the delay. Their customer service response is some canned, say-nothing-in-100-words BS. They have become nothing but a go-between for crummy products from China. DO NOT BUY FROM ZULILY - OR SUZANNE BETRO PRODUCTS ( the Brand Name of the sweaters)
I have since ordered from zulily and I had a pretty good experience. I didn't understand the process at first but now that I know I will give extra time to receive my purchases because they have a lot of nice things. They also offer a payment plan that allows you to split up your payments if they are over a certain amount.
Zulily supposedly changed their return policy. If something doesn't fit (a regular occurrence for most of us), they KEEP our money as a store credit. No choice. So, let's see - an item or two doesn't fit, we send it back, THEY keep our money, no refund, only a store credit MINUS the shipping/handling $8.95 which we have NOW paid twice for - and then each time we are forced to use the store credit we didn't want in the first place, and something doesn't fit? We get dinged again $8.95 and pretty soon, they have not only kept our money the first time but we will have in essence paid through the nose again for nothing. FIGHT BACK - CUSTOMERS - do NOT take this BS from Zulily.
I have purchased twice from Zulily and received terrible quality clothing. First of all, it took a month and a half to get my order (!) so be prepared to WAIT if you are dare to make a purchase... Refunds are only applied to store credit, and you have to pay $8.95 shipping to send anything back. So I tried to spend the store credit and received clothing of terrible quality again, again a month and a half later, only to send it back and be docked another 8.95 for shipping. After three phone calls to Zulily, two folks told me I could get my money back on my credit card and the last one said they all were wrong and I could only get store credit... again. At this point all of my original money will be spent on shipping inferior products back to Zulily. I will never again shop at Zulily and neither will anyone I know.
Products are not as described and of low quality, and nothing ever ships or is received on time. Customer service is a joke and will refuse to address any concerns, instead giving generic, canned responses and excuses for their terrible practices. THE definition of a shady company. Stay far away, there are hundreds of other merchants with better products and shipping, and WAY better customer service.
I do not believe these purses are coming from italy... shipped from Ohio... customer service rep said they come from an international vendor? China?... very sketch websites
I placed an order on 11/26/18 for a personalized item as a Christmas present. I received a confirmation email that the estimated shipping date would be 12/07/18. Well 12/07/18 came and went with no update from Zulily. On 12/11/18 I reached out to check the status of my order and was told by Zulily that they apologized that no one had informed me that there was a delay with shipping my item and they did not know when it would ship. I asked to cancel the order and was told they would get back to me within 7-10 days! Are you kidding me!?

The quality was poor, the sizing all wrong, this is the second time I was foolhardy enough to shop with zulily. Each experience was bad, I need to return, because the jacket I ordered is sized wrong, does not match the size chart at the website, and the quality is terrible. I paid 5.99 to have it shipped, now they want 8.95 more for me to return it because of the zulily website misrepresentation of the item and the size chart. The balance would have to be store credit, so that I am forced to spend it on their sub quality merchandise. I am opting to keep it. These people need to be shut down.
I have been a big fan of Zulily. As a matter of fact, it is safe to say I did a large majority of the Christmas shopping on their site this year and many years prior. With this said, I have had issues and now enough that I may stop looking at their site all together. First, the cost for return is stupid ridiculous. Yes... you can add multiple items. But to return one item is $8.50. That's just wrong. Second, many sites offer free shipping whilst Zulily makes you pay plenty. I understand items are being shipped to Zulily and then to the consumer... but COME ON! Finally, this season I began to question advertising for original price vs. list price on the Zulily website. Two examples: The Muk Luks I purchased were advertised as roughly $60+ for original price. I thought that $29.99+ the shipping cost of maybe $5 was a bargain. Low and behold... Walmart has the exact same pair for $24.99 with free shipping. Hmmmmmm... were these REALLY originally $60+ dollar shoes? Then, I purchased 2 claw machines for my kids stockings. I had never seen them before and really thought $19.99 (x2) plus a 7 or 8 dollar cost for shipping was okay (Original price was listed at either $29.99 or $39.99... cant quite recall). Then, I saw them yesterday at Menards for $12.99. There sign says that orignal cost was $19.99. Now how can that be so different for the exact same product. Are they scamming us? Maybe they are. Something doesnt seem right here.
First off, their "deals" aren't THAT great. I paid over $10 for shipping and most of my items have taken almost 3 weeks to be recieved. AND you can't even do a real return! STORE CREDIT MINUS SHIPPING COSTS! So no doubt they are STILL making money off of you when you try to return an item you don't even want... I will NEVER buy anything from Zulily again!
The clothing is cheaply made. "Cardigans" are t-shirt fabric with buttons. Sizing is WAY off and colors aren't as described. There is no live person to talk with. Returns are not easy either. Now that I know QVC owns this company, I'll stay away from them as well as HSN.
Ordered shoes on 11/16. Got an email today 11/26 telling me it will be another 10 days until the shoes ship. In between they sent me an email saying that slow shipping was the primary reason their prices were low. They must think the public is stupid.
I feel stupid because i did not read reviews of Zulily before I ordered.

I use many many web sites for purchases but this site is the BEST! I love the products, so many to choose from, so many original items also! From Men, woman, kids, toys, house wares, Bedding Everything! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
The sizes for their clothing are way off base. The dress I ordered looked as though I had borrowed it from the circus strongman. Free returns? Well, store credit minus 8.95 for shipping makes it extremely unappealing. Don't order from here again.
I ordered 5 blouse items from Weekend Suzanne Betro before looking up reviews. My heart sank as every one complained about not receiving their order. I had spent over $100. Fortunately I got all my items! Two came within a few weeks and I had them all within the month. They did all originally ship from China. I got updated emails so I could follow the shipping progress. I did received my items in 3 separate shipments. I kept reading complaints that sizing always runs too small, so I ordered mediums. Should have ordered smalls, in my option, they all actually do run true to size. I think the quality is as expected, no flaws. So all in all, my experience ended well.
I will never place another order with this company. Today is 11/20/18, I am still waiting for an order I placed on 11/6/18. The order was supposed to be here yesterday... it hasn't arrived so I checked tracking again and my order will not be here until 11/24/18... REDICULOUS!
I processed the return online; saw that i was going to be charged 8.95 to return the knock off coat so I called c/s and explained that I wasn't happy with the purchase, my reasons why and that I didn't feel I should have to bear the cost of returning it. The c/s person processed the return and emailed me the return label. She assured me that I would receive credit for the full value for the return and not be charged the 8.95.
And my last order was a miss. So they advertised a Jones NY Wool coat. What i received was a blend (burlap like) coat that had a Jones NY tag sewn in it. I was unable to go back and get the description so i'd have a leg to stand on when i tried to return it. What i will do moving forward is screen shot the description of anything i buy so when i get it, if it doesn't match the description provided I have some proof. I will say though i have also gotten many items that i've been very happy with.

Answer: I have never ordered shoes from them but I agree that they likely vary according to brand. Contrary to other comments (that I am very suspicious of...) I have never waited a long time and the quality has always been as shown. There are so many rip-off sites out there and I suspect some hire people to post phony negative reviews on the 'good' sites. I do not recommend searching for cheaper products - you'll end up on a bogus, cheap site. I now research every site name and sift through comments - its exhausting but has saved me from spending money on sites that were not good.

Answer: It could be a week or it could be 3 months. But my advice would be not to order at all. The sizes are never right (a small may fit someone that wears a large or it may be too small for an infant) and the quality sucks (the fabric on a dress I bought is so thin you can see through 4 layers). STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!

Answer: Let me just put this out there. The people who bought things from Zulily (and are unhappy with their purchases), probably didn't research the brand before they bought it. Think of Zulily like Marshalls or TJMaxx. That's what Zulily is, in online form. I just bought a hoodie from them, and researched the brand before I bought it. The particular hoodie was being discontinued, so they were selling it very cheaply. I bought it, and it is the real deal, originally $89. So research the brand. And don't expect your purchase quickly. They wait until they have enough orders to bulk purchase (another reason why their prices are low), before they buy. So it'll be a few weeks before you get it. I hope this helps.
