Very glitchy and time consuming to maintain accuracy. Would not recommend. The trend is worsening, not getting better for provider synching with office schedule. If a pt schedules in zocdoc, and then you reschedule the patient in your "compatible" office scheduling software... you have to take the time to go into zocdoc separately, and move it yourself. So, you have to make notes and know on your own schedule who made the appt, zocdoc... put in your passwords, manually move it. It's a big PIA. I am always upset at the hurdles using this program. Can't wait to switch to another company
Needed appointment with an ENT. Went on line and made appointment. Gave all my personal info and health history and photo of health card only to be told CANCELLED! Cancelled before hours of Dr office opening so I couldn't even call to verify. Very disappointed! Told friends and MY WORK I made an appointment and guess now I'll tell them don't bother ever using Zocdoc. Total waste of time!

Seems to severely limit the negative reviews posted on their site, assuming b/c doctors are the folks that pay them. Left a negative review of a dangerously irresponsible doctor who tried to convince me my medical issue was the result of past trauma or d3 deficiency and didn't even treat it. They somehow posted a 3 star rating to this and I attempted numerous times to contact them and they simply said over and over again that they do not allow edits to reviews but I could delete it. $#*!ty company, $#*!ty user experience, $#*!ty people.

The site itself makes things so much easier. The general user friendliness, the ease to make appointments and be reminded of them, make this site so easy. I had a wrote a bad review of one of the doctors I was using and was instantly contacted by customer service for the site. Tessie was amazing and so helpful. I would prefer calling the doctors myself to schedule the appointments. The cost of the appointment is not clear from the website and it could be way above my expectation. If I have to call to ask about the cost, why can't I just call to make the appointment? It was a waste of my time traveling to the doctor's office for nothing. Also, the doctor's office seemed dark, cold and uncomfortable. The cost and quality of care does not match. My previous experience with the doctors were not good either. I was not seen by the doctor I signed up for. The quality of care was below average, yet almost every doctor has 5 star review. I decided to deactivate the account prevent further negative experience on my side.

I have made several appointments with a Primary Care physician. Completed all the paperwork online. Sent a copy of my ins. Card. Did the whole early check-in thing.
My appointments were canceled because the doctor was not available for times SHOWN available on ZocDoc, rescheduled because the times SHOWN available on ZocDoc were not available, or I would show up and the office had NO RECORD of my appointment!
I thought it was me or the doctor office. After doing a little Googling... the problem is with Zoc Doc.
I now call the doctor office directly to schedule appointments. NO problem ever!
ZocDoc - PLEASE do not bother to post one of your scripted BS replies!

I have tried to use them now 4 times and each time you book an apptmnt and it gets cancelled! WTF so you call the DR office as instructed and they give you an appointment scheduled months out of what you booked with ZOCDOC. SO to top this off ZOCDOC they try to apologize for the "technical issues" and send you a 5 dollar coupon to AMAZON? Are u freaking kidding me?! STAY away from these JOKERS,, scam bait and switch!

Zocdoc is a company run by young, inexperienced sales reps and supervisors. Our doctor has been a loyal customer for over four years and the lack of customer service is unacceptable. Sales representative and so called managers are all in their early 20's and lack basic respect when it comes to inquiries from our office regarding our account. Our account manager Joe A. Charged our company credit card for $3000 without prior notification. We asked to speak with his supervisor and he coerced another coworker by the name of Brian, who has no authority, into calling and speaking with our doctor. When confronted, we were given the name of Joes supervisor who is Justin K. When speaking with Justin he stated it is company policy to just run the card on file on the due date. The doctor who is also the owner, was not notified even though Justin claims Joe left a voicemail stating they would run the charge. No voicemail was left. Zocdoc is not there for providers, it is a one sided operation.

When I first started using this site it a few years ago appointments actually existed that were booked. I now find that 3 out of 4 appointments listed don't exist. I call the office only to find that time was either taken or didn't exist. I have seen people in doctors offices that were turned away due to their appointment not existing. I also found that profiles filled out through zocdoc are a waste of time as doctors make you fill out their own paper work. I also found insurance information not to be accurate. You have to check the database on your insurance site to get accurate information. Sometimes the doctors office doesn't even know if they fully accept your insurance. Overall I just use them for names addresses and to look at patients reviews. I would love to see a start up to challenge this app and provide the services it advertises to offer.

For the New York City area where the competition to be the best is exceptionally high.
I have found the physicians on the site to be very well measured. Further out to the Bronx and Brooklyn I was not happy with my choices. But Midtown and SOHO you won't find better choices at independent small practices.
I didn't get the doctor i was seen and I left a review but zocdoc took down my review for my negative comment. Zocdoc is run by money-hungry people. The reviews are all 5 stars b/c the providers pay $3000 for their website.

I signed up with them and was with them for a few years. I only got a few patients. After termination of my agreement i asked them to remove their widget from my site, and they are refusing to do so.
Company run by young and inexperienced workers and leaders. Sales representative and so called managers are all in their early 20's which are not matured enough to understand intricate human relationship, let alone run a successful team that deal daily with human relationship with independent practices and patients.
Four times I have made appointments through ZocDoc and two out of the four times I did not see the provider I was scheduled to see. I left a comment on a Dr I see and ZocDoc did not publish my review. I am guess because the doctor offices pay ZocDoc so much money so they wont publish bad reviews. The reviews for the Doctors are false and cherry picked so don't fall from them like i did. Stay away from ZocDoc and its false advertising.

This site is only for the very bottom of the barrel doctors. I booked an appointment with a dentist, a cardiologist, Opthamologist and a disastrous visit to a Dermatologist.
After all the appointments I have come to the conclusion that these are the doctors that do rank high in the field of medicine.
Outdated offices, very few if any patients, odd hours, extremely out of date equipment and procedures, unkempt looking Doctors. Basically Dr. Frankenstein with the monster included.
I have good insurance and I tried all of them with the best intentions but never again ZocDoc.
I will use Zocdoc now to see if a physician is on it. If they are I will cancel the appointment.

Don't bother with this one. It let me think I had booked a badly needed appointment with a doctor over a long holiday weekend, only to get a call the morning of the appointment from the doctor saying I really had no appointment at all. The doctors office said Zocdocs no only has no authority to book appointments for them, but has no real access to their schedule appointment book. I wasted valuable time thinking I was taken care of. Seems like a bogus mess of a site, pretending they have a working relationship with a doctors office when in fact, they don't at all. Just call the doctor directly.

Avoid them at any cost. MD's do not get hooked on this scam. They are not patient's friendly and not provider friendly either. They will not try to understand provider's experience assisting patient in the best possible way but will take any unverified and disgruntled review and posted without any detailed review.

Answer: Yes, prices appear to be around $44-180 now. Offices get charged this even for cancellations, no-shows, and fake bookings. Zocdoc has no built in protections to negate this type of booking behaviors. Why would they when they profit off it? Zocdoc also prohibits practices from talking about this fee as it violates their "community standards."
