Making appointments is easy and great, but even when the doctors confirm the appointment they call you to change it, or sometimes you show up (after having to leave work early for it) and they don't even have you in the system. On my last appointment I showed the confirmation on my phone to the doctor's receptionist, but she still could; t accommodate me and I had to reschedule. Then you are forced to reschedule in the system and ZocDoc gives you "warnings" that you ar rescheduling too often! Not fair for the customer...

I showed up on time for my appointment with Dr Vlad Nusinovich, who was not there. I was to be seen by a nurse practitioner for my monthly prescription. I was told to wait a few minutes by the receptionist. I handed her $20 for my co-pay, which she happily took, and I proceeded to wait. After about 40 minutes of waiting she said that the doctor(who didn't call or come in) would no longer be able to see me. She printed out a federal document from her computer and handed it to me. It was an official letter from the office citing that they will not be prescribing anymore narcotics. It was addressed to the wrong person. She did this infront of an entire waiting room full of patients.

Ever since being signed up with ZocDoc, it's been very helpful in obtaining doctors. I like that I can choose a doctor anytime of the day. The pictures and bios help me to get some kind of feel if I want to make an appointment with that doctor. Having a selection of doctors at your fingertips to choose from is GREAT! My only problems are that sometimes the doctor is not available for day of confirmed appointment or doesn't accept my Health insurance as listed in-network. Also it's great to have what part of the body or area the doctor specializes in. Once a doctor only specialized on a specific part of the body which I wasn't seeking, so I wasted an entire day planning around that visit. I think also, it's probably good to ask customers, just to call the doctor's office and double check that they are available, take their insurance, and if they specialize in their area needing treatment.

Its very frustrating to get so many calls from Zoc Doc wanting us to sign up for more items. The boss already said no and the rep then insisted then maybe I should call his wife, like if she was going to play "mom and dad" against each other.

Another huge issue is NOTHING is customizable, if you need to let New patients know to check in 15 minutes early... nope- no customizable messaging. If you need to only send follow up patients reminders of their appointments to avoid sending new patients messaging -nope- no customizing who gets sent messages.

So far I have had 6 staff members call me to let me know the solution- Turn the reminders off! Well here's the problem with that... we purchased the package and certainly are not getting what we paid for. We were sold on what you told us that these things would be customizable and their not. Don't call unless you have a realistic solution. By telling us that it is in the works and they are giving the engineers feedback that will hopefully get fixed is not the answer. Just fix it.
