So far I have to disagree with most of the reviews Ive read. I ordered a Little Black Book, had a problem with shipping (USPS fault, not Zno), emailed Zno and got a prompt reply. My issue was cleared up and I received my beautiful book just days later. Very pleased and plan to order again.
The LBB is excellent quality ~ hard board book pages, perfect for a young child.
I ordered a wedding album for a client. They sent me an album with a missing page. Then sent me another album in the wrong color. At this point, I don't want any business with them and just want my money back. They never respond to their phone calls conveniently and customer service is very poor. PLEASE do not order from this company. I wouldn't purchase or accept anything even it was for free. All of the complaints are valid and accurate. The only people giving these reviews more than one star are the ZNO staff because instead of answering phone calls they are making fake reviews.
I found zno on a reference from a friend, she was over the moon about her wedding album. I held her album in my hands and it was wonderful, no color issues and the layout exactly how she wanted. She paid for the Pro Plan, but I didn't want to spend that extra money. So even though the reviews were not positive because I held a product in my hand, I took the chance on zno. I got the Layflat album and it is so perfect. I loved being able to control everything about it. I could choose exactly how many photos on the page I wanted, and if I wanted photos bigger or smaller, or black and white, I could adjust as needed. It was great to have complete control of the entire album. I am so happy with it! Also, shipping was pretty quick, I think about a week which was not bad at all. I would be wary since there are other bad reviews, but I can only review my order and it turned out perfect!
I am a pro photographer and have ordered three different products from this company.
1) it took almost two months to receive my last order and when I received the products
2) The photos under glass were the products I wanted to add to my sales line. The black and white images looked great, but the tint, hue and saturation were terrible on the color photos they printed for me.
3) I asked for customer service to address the issue and it took them weeks to respond and when they did
4) it was a form email saying they would get back to me. Over and over and over.
5) They finally replaced my color photo under glass and the image was even worse than the poorly printed first one they sent.
6) and the replacement was sent long after it had been promised to my client.
7)Zno made me and my business look substandard and irresponsible.
8) I asked for a phone call from customer service so we could attempt to sort the issue out and the phone call came almost three weeks after Christmas and the person on the phone message didn't seem to know anything except that I had asked for a phone call.
9) My frustration with this company is extremely high and I will not use them again. Taking the risk on them was a mistake that only made me look bad and caused me to lose money. At no point did they offer to reimburse me for the cost of the products I ordered that were useless to me.
I used to love them until I needed customer service. They ran a sale for the holidays. I placed a large order and the discount code appeared to apply but my cc was charged the full amount. It took 10 days and numerous calls and emails before they replied with a store credit (while they extended the discount on their site) UNACCEPTABLE. I received my order timely but now there is a problem on one of the pages. I have been calling and emailing but still no proper reply. This is insane! I have three orders waiting in the pipeline that will now need to be fully redone through another vendor as I will not be using Zno ever again. This is more than frustrating and extremely unprofessional.
Ordered a little black photo book on a promotion, it took a while to receive it but that could have also been because of the holiday's. I LOVED that the pages were made on a very thick paper, the only thing I wish I could have done was add text to the pages but otherwise it's an excellent value for what you get, I am very happy with it!
I have ordered several books from ZNO, and all of them have since come apart due to bad glue/adhesive used in the album construction. I reached out to ZNO to explain the problem and they promptly sent me replacement albums. Unfortunately, these have come apart too. If they fixed their problem with the glue they used, I would be happy with the product, but unfortunately it is a disaster and complete waste in the current state.
Ive ordered something for my bf for Christmas. Early enough to get it by Christmas. Guess what, its been four days since my shipment confirmation, and still hasn't left the premises. "Label Created, not yet in system". This is absurd! I had a melt down last night, because this gift was so sentimental and was hoping to see my bfs reaction on Christmas Day, but I guess I have to run out and get somthing else bc I solely depended on a company that couldn't be depended on. And of corse I cannot get a hold of them because of their obnoxious "business hours". WILL BE GETING MY MONEY BACK. SO OVER THIS BS
Want a few cheap prints or a book for something not important? Zno is for you.

I have placed 4 orders for prints with boarders and after the first three came through my door incorrectly cut (each side of the photo was different, one edge with a boarder, one without and the other two another two sizes of boarder), I thought I better email in after placing the fourth to make sure it didn't happen again. I received a reply stating it wouldn't and they would take extra care.
They didn't. The fourth order was exactly the same. How does it get past the person printing them, then the QA team, then the person packing them?! The sequence is also different to how they were placed, so recording 300 to 400 prints takes extra time.
Albums come over with damaged pages, ink leak or the binding not properly fixed.
They have re-sent the orders and I have got them right in the end, but forget using them for anything important, if you have a work deadline or if you are using them for your business.
I have bought from Zno since they where known as Artisan State. I also have a pro account with them but today was my last "we are so sorry but we can't do anything for you" support response.
On all occasions I ordered prints (300+ prints at the time), I had to re-order them as they seem to be shuffling them instead of just placing them in the same order as I ordered them. Last order had 114 prints missing. Yes 114. But it miraculously passed QC without a hiccup!
The last drop was placing a book order and choosing my shipping option according to the delivery date only to find out 14 days later that my order was still in production and that the delivery date had been changed from the one on the checkout page causing me to come empty handed (it was for a gift) at a party.
As for quality, they are just ok for the price. But as of now I will make a little less margin but my customer will benefit from the really good album makers and printers out there.
I was REALLY hesitant to place an order with ZNO for almost $400 because of all the negative reviews I was seeing to do with color correction and customer service. But I ordered 9 canvases, 7 8X8 albums, 1 framed photo, and our 25 page 11x8 Wedding album and I was very impressed! There were no issues with the color on any of my products, everything was exactly as I ordered it, it shipped pretty quickly, and they were all individually boxed (but sent together) so that I could just easily wrap them all up for Holiday gifts! If I had purchased all of that from anywhere else it would have been over $1,000! So I am impressed. I really think they have been reading these comments and have stepped up their game. I can't say anything about their customer service because I didn't have to deal with contacting anyone. But we are very impressed with both the quality of the products, and how the actual photos look on them. I will probably be placing more orders soon! They make excellent gifts, especially the $10 albums! So don't let all the bad reviews deter you! Give them a try.
Ordered a few times from them. Loved their products and price, until my most recent order. It took forever, sent emails but no response at all. I should have be more alert with company who disallows customer reviews and private mesaging on their Facebook page
So i was using zno for my clients, and recently i ended up in jail just because of their no customer support and delays on deliver, regardless paying priority shipping which 5-7 days delivery. The quality is great but i delivery is becoming worst after they have announced some kind of offer. Its been 14 days and still its under process and not yet shipped.
I would suggest not to use zno if you have crucial delivery time and a specially the client is high profile in your country, you might end up where i did.

Orderd 10×10 Flush Mount Album with 24 pages $90 to give as a gift to a wedding client. Had 3 major suprices. There was an album spread of someone else's new born baby shoot. Instead of spread with bride walking in. Which is a key spread of the album. (Obviously there's no quality control process from their end. Any idiot with a peanut brain can figure there is spread within the album which doesn't belong in a wedding album) yet they were so IGNORENT and posted the album anyway... Printing quality was inconsistent and there were couple of spreads which weren't stuck properly. They were coming apart.
Emailed to customer service over and over again and not a single reply. (Just the automated reply for the very 1st email i sent) tried calling the no on the website and guess what... automated response. Pls leave a msg crap
Definitely not pro quality at all so dont bother with pro plans. Just good enough for personal use if ur happy to get what you pay for.
If Zno customer service happens to see this... ******* is my order no $#*!ing fix the album and send it to me then will review accordingly... Not recomending for anyone unless u like to pay for surprises...
Having ordered from several other similar companies, I decided to give the little black book a try. For the $5 price, I got what I paid for! It was supposed to be a gift, but only 5 of the 24 pictures were not blurry... will NOT be giving that gift. Nor will I be ordering from there again.
Ive been using Zno since before they changed their name from Artisan State. The products looked good at first (a few little black books as gifts, lay flat albums for myself). After a few tries I started offering to my photography clients. Issue 1, two albums less than 3 months old started to fade on the edge of the cover. I took photos & sent an email, they ended up replacing them. I thought ok one time thing. Then just 2 weeks ago I ordered a beautiful leatherette flush mount album with metallic pages & a cameo window. The cameo window was cut sloppy and today I noticed the last album page is unglued. Seriously? I cant sell this to my clients, I cant even give this as a gift to family if it wont hold up. I agree with the others who say print quality isnt the best. My Album prints are always a bit more washed out than on my computer & sharpness is soft also. Bottom line is I cant trust this company, the products come from China, theyre poorly made & unreliable. I need my clients albums to last for years, not weeks. Bye, bye, ZNO.
I ordered a photobook, the software has auto-fill function, after uploading photos I just took 5 minutes to finish the order, then 7 days later I got my book. I am shocked by the awesome quality, my family love it too. Thank you, you are my angel:)
So, these books are cheap - and expectations should be managed accordingly. The quality is fine for personal projects - projects should not be designed with images designed across the center, as ink bleeds down the middle, but as long as you're not designing across center, it's okay for the price - not great by any means, and their "pro" line is a ridiculous proposition - the product is not anywhere near professional quality. I had an absolutely terrible customer service experience with them, however - they recently made changes to their default design options with no notice to consumers. It should be noted that the Little Black Book now comes with ZNO branding that WILL NOT be removed. This was not communicated beforehand, and I had a project which also printed with default text on the spine - both of these issues resulted in me having to trash the project I'd ordered and paid for. ZNO was absolutely no help - their solution was to tell me that the text issue was not their fault, I'd had to have added it in design (What? Sure, I typed out a long file name for fun, okay), and that the branding was now automatic and could not be removed. The biggest issue with ZNO is not the product - it's the customer service, which is absolutely terrible. I used to recommend them for casual personal projects from time to time, but can't do even that, anymore - a waste of money is a waste of money, and I cannot support a company with such a disregard for its customers.
