So I had already placed my order I read a lot of negative reviews and was a little scared after ordering 3 large print books. They arrived on time and looked beautiful. The quality was actually better than I expected. My first experience with ZNO and it was great for what it's worth.
I ordered a black little book for the first time on Oct 2 with a delivery date of Oct 10. It never arrived. Then I read on my account that there was an issue with it, and that they contacted me on Oct 8th, and solved the issue and put it back in production. That never happened. I was never contacted. New delivery date was to be Oct 12. I contacted Zno first by phone, no answer. Then by email, outlining the fact that I was never contacted for any issues with the order even though notes on the account indicated they did. I then got an email saying Problem Solved. But they could not tell me what the problem was but a new ship date of Oct 14-18 and there is no way of guaranteeing a shipment date. The response from Zno as been mechanical and ridiculous. It makes one wonder exactly what is going on with this company. The shipping date keeps moving to the future... that is the only thing they can tell me. I am very suspect of this company now and for any future work I would have wanted to do with them. No one to answer your phone? Wow!. Inadequate email customer response. Wow! What a way to win over business from a first time customer.
After receiving the wrong book... October 6th Customer Service contacted me via email and my book finally arrives October 10th. Extremely happy with the 6x6 photobook The quality is excellent. Now the 64,000 dollar question... Should/Can I trust them going forward with private, cherished, family photos? My original book is where? How will it be disposed of? What do I do with the wrong book I have? The service ticket is now closed which suggests ZNO considers the matter closed... Do they care about their Customers?
First order: 6x6 Black book ordered 9/23/17. Notification of shipment 9/28/17.4 business days, very impressed. Order arrived 10/03/17. Well packaged, quality of the book and printing looked good... ONLY issue is... This is NOT my order. I have someone else's book, I'm looking at someone else's family photos.
Speed of service, product quality, printing quality, goes out the window when you can't be trusted to securely deliver my private family photos.
Now waiting on Customer Service to resolve.
I have been using ZNO for 3 years. Their albums used to be really great but now they alter the way my photos look completely blowing them out. They will reprint them for you but it takes weeks for them to come in. I asked customer service if they can make a note to not brighten my images in the future and they said it isnt their fault and they make no promises. I kept getting the same automated message over and over and I realized their customer service is a robot. They dont answer the phone and they dont respond to emails with real people. This company is a joke.
I just had a wonderful experience with ZNO with our 100 pages 10x10 wedding lay flat wedding book and four 8x8 copies as a gift for our family (mom, parents, grandparents). The website is extremely easy to use and you have an unlimited amount of options when it comes to arranging pictures and frames. I was looking at dozens of photo book websites before creating the book and ZNO was the best system to work with for me. When I emailed ZNO with a question I had, I received a prompt reply with exact and easy instructions on how to set up the same book in a different size. The order was sent from Shanghai and arrived extremely fast and exceptionally well packaged! The books came out beautifully in top quality. I can just speak very, very highly of ZNO and would recommend it to anyone. ZNO will definitely be my number one photo website from now on as I've been very disappointed with other websites in the past. The pricing was also quite reasonable and cheaper than other websites.
I searched dozens of sites to find exactly what I wanted. Ordered a 12X12 flush mount with crystal front. Paid additional for express shipping. No other company I searched offered every feature that I was looking for. Leather, crystal front, the specific binding ZNO offers is better than others I looked at. My book came today, after 3 weeks vs 5-7 days. I have accepted that okay, this is custom, and I maximized every page, and detail. I will forgive the delay, as in Canada, this book would have taken 3x as long. I can't say that I was impressed with customer service. No they do not answer phones, however I did get a vague response via e-mail. There is a very tiny issue with the photo on the crystal front not reaching to the very edge of the glass, at the bottom, I missed it at first glance, had to be looking for imperfections. Other than that, I am in love! The quality of the images are incredible! I can see the tiny blond hairs on my arms, and the texture in my "real silk" flowers. Even the photos that the software "warned" were low quality are stunning. I was having nightmares after reading these reviews. They are not what we are used to as far as customer service level, however after ordering a photobook from another company, as my guest book for the wedding, this album is spectacular in my opinion.
Customer service is horrible. I ordered a book almost 3 weeks ago and still no book.
On UPS tracking no specific date is given with tracking.
I will not use this company again.
I ordered a floating print in frame 1 month ago. Estimated delivery date was 1-2 weeks ago. Order is being ignored and hasn't not been sent, zno has ignored my emails. Next step is to report fraud through bank.
I ordered a 12x12 wallart print. Print was blurry, their white color is yellow also on their page they said that they're from San Franciso California but I'm surprised that a DHL delivery from shenzen china is arriving and need a signature. I didn't know that there's SF Cali in China. What a scam.
I was going to order simple 4x6 photo prints from Apple, but thought I'd give this company a try.
First of all, it took much longer to receive the prints. I was not in a hurry this time, so I'm ok with that. However, I seem to recall my ordered prints and photo books were delivered much more quickly from Apple.
OK, I received the ZNO prints finally today. Opened the package. Wow, the prints all look so dark! I know, it may be that my original photos are dark also. No, not the case st all. I remember all the printed photos I received from Apple had such clear and bright finish. Believe me, I may be an amateur photographer, but I am not that bad so as to choose only the dark pix to be printed. I have thousands of good photographs -- some taken with iPhone and iPod Touch but many more taken with real high-end cameras.
I am thoroughly disappointed by their products. If they can't produce simplest photo prints well, how would they do with albums and canvas prints, etc?
I would not use their services! They have terrible customer service! Stay away from this company! They are not reliable!
I really wanted to be able to give a great review of this company. However, after several attempts to reach someone at Zno, I wish there was an option to give zero stars. After trying to reach someone about the shipment of the album, unsuccessfully, I received it and I was VERY disappointed. The image on the crystal cover abruptly ends about a half inch from the right hand side of the book. Why would anyone want their cover photo to not go across the entire crystal part of the cover?! There must have been a glitch in their software because that is definitely not the way I ordered it. Also, there is a very noticeable green cast to many of the pages and the images are dull and muddy - not at all the way they look. I am a professional photographer and there is no way I would ever give this to my client. Now, I've been waiting almost two days to hear from their customer service via email because they NEVER answer their phone or return calls. I have asked for a refund and instructions to return the album, and sadly, I fear I will not receive either from this company. I can't believe there are actually people who are happy with the quality of these books! The one I received is AWFUL!
I ordered two photo books and what I received is unacceptable! Pictures are blurry, dark and funny looking... when I filed a complaint via email support, basically she told me it's nothing wrong on their end it's the type of book I chose... really? Why the $#*! do you even sell something that is crap?! Walmart one hour photo book looks amazing compared to ZNO's $#*!! People don't waste your money, find a different company.
I have tired so hard to like ZNO. I have placed several orders with ZNO and the last year since they made the switch from Artisan state its been one issue after another! Their customer service does not exist! Forget about calling they will NEVER answer or call you back. I've ordered several of their top of the line flush mounts and use to love them the quality has been so poor now! The colors are muddy and dull, my images are destroyed all of the sharpness is gone! I requested a reprint on 2 albums that came to me literally GREEN in color! Only one of them arrived they claimed they never got a request for the other I had to screen shot the email and underline it. They said they would reprint and send out, weeks later the album is still not here and I have a very unhappy client now! When I email them it takes several days for a answer sometimes you just don't get an answer at all and have to send additional emails. This lab is no longer for the professional photographer and the quality has gone WAY down! Very sad!
I ordered a wood grain print. Zno advertised wood grain in the print "Images are printed directly onto half-inch thick maple board. The wood grain shows through in lighter parts of the image, creating a wholesome, naturalistic look.'" When I got my print there was no wood grain in it at all. It was blurry, washed out colour and had a plastic like look to it that was just stuck on the wood. It looked terrible and not at all what was advertised. Their response was that there was no manufacturing error - wood prints in wood grain is not offered now. They would not give me my money back even though had clearly false advertised.
As long as you don't have any problems with shipping or damage or mistakes, you'll be okay, right?
It's a crapshoot to use this company. And I did it. Decent quality and very fast production for a company in China. But if there is any kind of problem with your order, they have absolutely no interest in responding or fixing any problem that is clearly on their end.
I suppose that because there are so many people who use this very cheap company, that they really don't care about customers or customer relations. There is always someone new around the world who will use them because of their prices.
The only two ways you can get fast response on a problem is if you dispute the charge, then they will wake up. OR if you post something on their Facebook page, your post will almost instantly disappear, so obviously someone is paying attention.
Don't use their products for your clients. They are just too unreliable.
Literally the WORST. I'm still waiting for my albums and I ordered in February. They won't return my calls, they respond like once every 2-3 weeks via email with no helpful information. Who the hell runs a business like this? The albums are for an elderly couple with a granddaughter in foster care that they never get to see. This was the most special day they ever had with her, and now because of ZNO, they're incredibly disappointed and so am I.
ZNO IS THE WORST. Don't waste your time or money because there are FAR better photo companies who actually care about delivering on their promises, have customer service or will call you back in general and who have an interest in ensuring their customers are happy.
I ordered a photobook that cost over $125 for my wedding guest book. I paid extra for priority shipping to ensure it arrived in time for my wedding. Upon realizing the book had not shipped and my wedding was days away, I began to reach out to Zno via phone and email.
To spare you the unpleasant details, Zno never once returned my call after countless voicemails, calls during their so called "business hours", emails requesting a call, emails urging them to please ship my book and more. Needless to say, I was left on my wedding day without a guestbook because of Zno. They have not offered to refund me for the book, have not apologized in any way and still have not called me back.
Never ever ever order from them.
Sub-par quality control, most of my orders have been flawed, with printing errors, incorrect cropping and bad glue. Not worth it if you are a professional and care about giving your clients a quality product. When you contact customer service they don't try to correct the problem!
Artisan State has renamed its company to Zno.
They had advertised a free trial product for the first time customers, from which you could chose Canvas Print, Hard Cover Layflat Photo Book, Custom Frame or Hard Cover Flush Mount Album for free and pay just for shipping.
The company had a misleading advertisement and charged me a full amount for the album plus postage.
My sister sent me Zno link website as she ordered something from them in the past. I ordered the album for my sister in Australia as a present therefore I put her address as a delivery address. Zno commented that first time buyer can not live at the same address. And after me explayning that we leave in different countries and that album was a present for my sister in Australia.
They still refused to pay money back. After email communications with Zno they refused to reimburse the money they unfairly charged therefore I had to lodge a dispute transaction complaint with my bank to return money back into the account.
Answer: My pictures were shipped from Shangai so I'm assuming China.
