No Integrity
April 3, 2021

This company has no integrity. I placed an order in November 2020 and waited until late March early April for a cabinet. I spent over $20,000 on furniture. I finally called them to find out where the other cabinet was on deliver. They informed me that I needed to pay an additional $107 so they could order and deliver this cabinet. How ridiculous is that? No one bothered to call me or email me. I told them I wanted to talk to a manager or the CEO. No one called me. I finally told them to refund my money On the cabinet that I had already paid close to $1400 for. I will never shop at Z Gallerie again. Broken pieces were delivered including a dresser, buffet cabinet and a broken mirror.

I ordered and paid for my furniture on 12/5/2020. I received several calls and emails about adding insurance to my furniture (that I don't have) I called 3/10/2021 for a status update. I have told that my order is pushed out to mid to late May and that isn't guaranteed. I asked why wasn't notified I was told they don't have a system that to notify customers. I asked about canceling my order I was told I can't cancel my order. I'm out a few thousand dollars and without furniture.

Timothy and his Minion
December 3, 2020

Z Gallerie you cannot continue to want to rank yourself as a mid high level store with the type of service customers receive. The store in Louisville, KY treat there long term known customers like thief's. Timothy, the manager, language and verbiage was accusatory. He even claimed that my story changed... of course I challenged him. When I asked to speak with him, he asked his black sales person to come with him. He didn't know that I was standing at the door. I immediately stated that I did NOT need her standing there staring at me. She said she was there as a customer. I again stated I was offended and pissed that he would ask her to join him. I had to ask her to move out of my space. She just moved and continued to stand and stare at me. This really pissed me off! Short story, He has to now call his manager-I asked why he didn't do that earlier since it was my second time in the store about the same matter. He told me several outright LIES to which I told him were lies and he was a LIAR! I will NEVER patronize this store in ANY city or STATE. If I could redo my home I would remove EVERY item purchased from Z Gallerie. I will tell EVERYONE I know about my experience. Z Gallerie you have NO integrity, NO customer Service, and need to retrain your store leaders.

Discrimination at its finest at store #63 in Tampa, Florida inside International Plaza. I visited this location Sunday, October 25th between the hours of 4-5pm to finalize a purchase for a $3200 couch. Please note, I've been debating between this couch or a $5K sofa from Scan Design. Upon my arrival, I sat and viewed the sofa near the register where the employees were located and reviewed the different color pallets that were attached for my personal taste just to be sure of the style once again. A couple came in 5 min after I did and was looking at the same sofa and were immediately greeted and assisted with more knowledge about the same sofa by Scott who came from the nearby register. I never received the same courtesy. A new (seasonal) hire came over to me took notice and asked if I needed any help. I acknowledged my concern what just transpired and she immediately apologized. After her assistance she had to ask her co workers for questions based on some of the questions I was asking her on the product. This was understandable as she was a new hire. Since I was there to make a $3200 purchase, I was still disgusted by the actions of Scott. I thanked the new hire for coming over to help me and asked her for the corporate number. She went over to the register area where the other employees were (and Scott) for the info which I heard Scott ask her why and they were not giving that information. Upon her return she passed on the message and I thanked her for her time. A few days after this happened I did my own research and was able to locate the store number here in Tampa (#63) and locate the CEO's name Jordan Voloshin. Let me remind you again, this was done on my own since I was refused a store number. I called customer service who emailed the corporate number *******100 but again the run around. I've never felt so belittled in my life and decided to make the $5K purchase with Scan Design. I refused to give Z Gallerie my money and be a contributor to help maintain their struggling chain remain in business. Hopefully no one else experience this same ordeal as I did. I only wanted to come in and spend a few grand on a nice sofa for my new downtown 33rd floor condo.

Unsafe employees
October 15, 2020

Employee brazingly side swiped me driving at a local mall while crossing the street to a restaurant. Employee didn't want to deal with the police who were right there as he stated he hated cops he then proceeded to call security on me while I was trying to indentify this unlawful unsafe driver. Today's date is October 15th please review the mall camera footage to confirm. He then entered the Z galleries tacitly and started to give me the finger like a tough guy. I hope his facility has cameras too. This guy is not an employee a two star establishment can afford.

The worst in the market in matters of online orders on two occasions I have ordered and in several months it does not arrive and if it arrives it is the product with problems. It is a pity such a nice store and that the shipment is useless

Wow!
June 12, 2020

So shocked after spending several thousand dollars in local store then virus hit. I had one item to return and waited for store to reopen. Well I finally called their supposed customer service number and explained the situation to a representative. I was firmly told that it was past the 30 day return period so I could not return item. I reminded the rep that the store was closed due to the virus and was once again was told that there were no exceptions and their policy did not change based upon the store being closed. Unbelievable! I tried several times to see if the rep had any common sense at all and no he did not. I asked for a supervisor to call me and of course that never happened either. Between myself and all the clients I have brought to the store my spend is in the several thousands of dollars. I am so disappointed in how I was treated I'll shop elsewhere and take my clients to a store that exhibits common sense. What a shame that their customer service is so poor. Their loss!

Ordered a dining table a month ago. I followed up today because after receiving an email advising that the table was being shipped and the delivery company would contact me I still had not been contacted by anyone. Just found out it was delivered to an address in ANOTHER STATE. No communication to let me know what had happened. Only found out because I called. They very high delivery cost is apparently not worth the money. Have never had a problem ordering from other stores or on line companies that deliver for free or at a much reasonable fee. Hope the table eventually arrives and in good shape.

We bought several pieces to be shipped to our home in New Jersey, from Florida. Three months later, knowing it was on back order, it finally arrived. All for work shift very poorly, and subsequently 04 arrived broken. I called, and someone said just throw them out we will refund you. Three months later, I have still not gotten a refund, and now, due to covered, I cannot get in touch with anyone at the store. Add insult to injury, I read they just filed for bankruptcy. Terrible customer service. Beautiful stuff in the store, but not worth it. Do not shop here!

After receiving a broken end table, several emails (that promised a phone call back in 1-2 days each time), several phone calls (one with a dog barking in the background on the other line so obviously speaking to someone working at home) and a promise to send me a return label to return the broken item I have received nothing but a $283 bill for my item. Terrible, terrible customer service.

I only give them 1 star because I cannot buy zero. I bought a chandelier from them on April 22,2020. May 1,2020, I still had not received notice that the item shipped. I noticed at that time that the item was now on sale for $150.00 less than I bought it for. I filled in their customer service request form, called and called (no one was answering the phones and the voicemail was full) and sent multiple emails. My chandelier arrived (and I realized I could have bought it directly from the manufacturer for $275 dollars less than I paid at Zgallerie). Zgallerie FINALLY responded to my emails and answered the phone 12 days after my initial inquiries and refuse to give me a price adjustment because the item is no longer on sale. I asked to speak to a manager. There are not any available, HORRIBLE COMPANY!

I bought $500 bar stools each. The manager at Zgallerie ordered it wrong. It arrives 7 months later and they are bar height not counter height! I call customer service 5 times, each over an hour weight and they refuse to exchange them for the right height I need! They are the worst store and worst customer service for crappy quality furniture! Never shop there! They are awful!

What a nightmare!
March 10, 2020

They make it PAINFUL to return anything. I purchased two pillows in December; they didn't go with my decor. To return them, you must CALL and talk to a customer service rep, who grills you about why you want to return the items. You can't just go online and download return forms and a shipping label. It is now March and I have talked with four different customer service reps; each one gives me a different reason why I didn't get an email with return instructions. I finally wrote a letter to their company headquarters. Who knows if I will hear anything. But I suspect this company makes it so challenging to return things, that most people just give up.

WARNING NEVER ORDER FROM THIS CO! I ordered 2 branch wall sconces from them online Oct 2019. I got 2-3 emails from them theough December 2019. Each email they were delaying my order another couple weeks. Finally I called them since it had been a couple months to see if I was ever going to receive the sconces. Rep said they'd be mailed the following week. Once I received them late December both sconces were broke upon arrival. I called & spoke to Michael who apologized for the inconvenience & frustration. Said I needed to send photos of the broke sconces by email. Once they decided if they'd want them back they'd let me know & issue me a gift card for the inconvenience. I sent the email & received a notice back 2 days later that they'd issue me a refund. No mention of the gift card or why they weren't replacing the items instead of issuing a refund. I called today and the lady rep stood firm they would NOT offer me any type of discount or % off a purchase for my 2 months of waiting and broke items sent. I explained my degree was in retail merchandising & I worked retail many years. Never have I ever known of a company who wouldn't offer something to a customer to make things right. They are hateful and do not have any kind of customer service. I will NEVER order from them again or buy from their store. Word of mouth makes business like this go under often. Hope they go under for their terrible lack of customer service, lying to customers about offering a discount and taking their word back. Scam of a company. Buyer beware!

Big Scammers do not buy
December 13, 2019

I purchase a Sofa at the beginning of March, it was supposed to deliver 8 weeks after (beginning of May) at the end of may.
Beginning of June 12 weeks after the order I called to check on my sofa and the said that was delayed and were uncertain on a delivery date, so I asked to cancel my order, they refused and threat that I would have lost my money if the order was going to be canceled.
At the end of June I called again as we were going into the 16 weeks from the order, again no certain date for delivery and again I attempt to cancel the order, with the same result they threat to not return my money, so, I had to stick with the order.
Finally, on July27 the sofa was derived basically 5 months after my purchase.
Once the Sofa was installed I realized that neither the model and the size where the one ordered, so I called back customer service to have the sofa picked up and to have a full refund, at this point they agreed to refund me 14 business day after they would have picked up the sofa, they came a month after on August 30 to get the item from my apartment.
Since then, I'm waiting for a full refund, its now mid December and still no refund have been issued and every time I call (when I'm able to talk with somebody) to say that the payment is scheduled for the following week.
Bottom line after more than 9 months from the purchase they are unlawfully holding my money and their behavior is nothing less than a scammer that just stole my money and has no intention to return the sum paid.
Just do not buy from this company the market is full of honest competitor that stand behind their products.

Buyer beware
August 12, 2019

Poor customer service and explanation of promotional rates. Inexperienced/poorly trained staff.

We purchased couches last June. We we're told that there would be not interest until after one year (the promotional time frame). Well that was not the case. No one explained or mentioned an accrued interest rate that would be charged for the full amout of the couches at the end of the promotional period. So we are being charged an accrued interest on top of the interest for the remaining balance.

I called comenity bank after seeing my balance almost double from my previous statement and they said " If i knew where to look online I would see the the charges that would accur if the balance wasn't paid in full."I asked them if we could pay the remaining balance without the accrued interest since it was only 10 days past the promotional time frame and they were unwilling to come to any agreement. We we told there was a 3 day grace period but now we are passed that. It feels like extortion to me. If i was notified it would have been paid in full. They say they send letters but again i pay online and view my statements online so i feel there should be warnings online, in clear view, since i don't know "where to look " as the representative stated.

I've tried calling zgallery customer service and after being on hold for 20 minutes I decided to leave a message as prompted but as soon as you push zero it takes you to a voicemail and then discontents. They also don't respond to any emails.

Very poor customer service. I will never purchase anything from zgallery nor will any of my friends and family after hearing about my poor experience.

Categorically the worst on line retailer phone in service ever. Try calling *******748(the number they give you to call on your email receipt). On hold for 20 min. Then I click on contact them and they have another different number of *******288. On hold another 38 minutes. All the time on hold they play this truncated shrill static music that I can only guess is meant to irritate the customer so they will hang up. I feel bad for the customer service reps because the people must be really angry when they finally get through to them. Shame on ZGallerie for treating their lowest paid employees this way. Here's a thought: My call is NEVER important to you if you make me wait on hold for over 10 minutes or make me wait hours for a return call. Some overpaid honcho heads should roll at the Z!
