If you are considering buying a DVD from ZEUS, you should know:
1) The DVD I received is a bootleg copy
2) The DVD arrived in a paper CD-ROM sleeve, no outer DVD Case
3) The DVD came with a homemade-looking, generic label
4) When watching the DVD, there is constant distortion at the top of the TV screen
5) The film quality is poor, and the brightness and contrast levels fluctuate radically
6) While the DVDs from Zeus are very inexpensive, the quality reflects the price
7) Disappointing experience

Bought 20 dvds... All were in 4:3 aspect ratio, half were recorded off tv and all 20 had bad picture quality.

I purchased DVDs and several were defective, and they did not respond to requests to replace or refund. No response at all. A very disreputable company. Buy your DVDs somewhere else. BEWARE.

It's $9.99/dvd starting out, then after awhile they send codes for half off. Either way it's $4 flat rate to ship one or several dvds. They sent me 2 dvds in a big 15x20 padded envelope, surprisingly one of them still played, couldn't reach zeus by any advertised available method for assistance, credit card company said they would remove the charge and try to resolve, but if they didn't hear from zeus the charge would be restored- and it was! - so zeus is rewarded for doing nothing, but suddenly you realize they do what they want --for half price and no case and no artwork it's tough noogies what happens. So whatever. I try not to use them but i don't have an alternate sometimes.

I've ordered now several hard to find movies from Zeus. The prices are more than fair, and the movies have all arrived at my home quickly. I'm very pleased with this service.

As an officer of the court, I pride myself on doing everything on the up and up. My 73-year-old aunt told me about "One Big Beat" and how she remembered it as a kid and could never find it. I was excited to find it on the web at zeusdvds.com. It arrived one week later. My aunt received it today and said it came loose in an envelope with some bubble wrap. No shipping slip, no case, no formal packaging of any kind. I thought maybe it got damaged in shipping and it was just put in a different envelope. I started thinking about it and it was at me and I thought of pirating or bootlegging. I started googling and came across this site and I feel like throwing up. I will be gathering the packaging and DVD from my aunt. I don't care that I lost out on the money, but this needs to go to the proper authorities, I just don't know who to go to with this. I attempted to call them, and the phone number on their website comes back as a number no longer in service. I sent them an email and it bounced back.

I ordered Come On Be Happy as I had previously enjoyed watching it on TubiTV. It arrived within five days from order. I noticed that the disc was not in a hard case but a standard blank DVD envelope. I loaded it into my DVD player, The picture was good, not what you'd expect from a studio release. I also noticed the logo for Encore TV in the lower right corner of the screen. This is an obvious save on a DVR and later burned to DVD. The DVD is not available from Amazon or other reputable sellers. Had I known that this seller deals in pirated video, I would have given Zeus a hard pass.

Ordered 3 movies which took 8 days to receive, 1 of 5. The dvds were marked with the movie titles readable through the window of the paper sleeves they were shipped in, no cases, 0 of 5. The pictured items showed, when ordered, cases as did status update emails. This is an unlawful act, which needs immediate correcting. Unscrupulous site, RUN don't walk away from them. Meager savings don't warrant the risk.

Ordered 1957 Jack Palance DVD movie "House of Numbers." Received it. Good quality. One week shipping.

Ordered 2 movies. They took my money but I never received my movies! Don't buy from them.
Tried to contact them but no reply.

I recently placed an order for 2 DVDs. One DVD was fine, the 2nd one would not work. 3 inquiries for a replacemnet went unanswered.

I ordered the Movie Smokey, then I checked the reviews and thinking I would never get it...But to my surprise I received an e-mail saying it had been shipped, and it did come and quickly...It was a copied version...

Out of print and out of copyright stuff is all here. You can order a really bad copy off ebay from some "collector" where the movie is shaky af and double exposed, OR you can order from Zeus, and the same movie will be much better quality than the ebay people. Now, a lot of these are quite old, and were not well preserved. The "studio" copy of "damsel in distress" comes to mind. But there they are, available, because one guy is pumping out the out of print stuff.

The reason you see so many bad reviews is that all those movies are out of print for a reason, Hollywood does not want them in circulation. Maybe the reason is the star had a falling out with a studio bigwig, maybe they were considered "boring" 20 years after release. Who knows?

I placed my order for a copy of Song of the South on July 07,2019.

To date I have not gotten any responses, no apologies, no dvd, no refund, nothing. I've reached out through the website and e-mail several times. At this point I am considering this site a scam.

I ordered a Western DVD with the Actor Howard Duff that I saw on one of my Satellite TV channels. Unfortunately, the DVD was not available by any other venue, so Zeus was the only Website that offered it for purchase. I ordered this DVD on April 24th, 2022 and I received it on May 3rd, 2022 which I viewed today, May 6th, 2022. I was very pleasantly surprised that the quality of the DVD was excellent. The picture clarity was great and also the sound quality was the same. I read some of the previous reviews and many stated that they either had "a delay in getting what they purchased or it never came." Let me state that I am definitely not getting paid to post this positive review. It is just exactly what I personally experienced with this Website. Believe me, I was skeptical at first because you never know what you are going to end up with especially when you place an order for an item from a Website for the first time which is what the case was here. I was very pleased with what I received I am very glad that the DVD that I ordered was delivered in a short and reasonable time frame and also that it "did not look like they just recorded or copied it from some TV Channel." From what I experienced, I recommend this Website for the purchase of a DVD that might be hard to find elsewhere and I hope that future customers also are satisfied with the service from this Website as I was. His Bodyguard was a good movie, I was hesitant with ordering the burned copy but was pleasantly surprised. However the darn writing was showing on the bottom of the screen, its king of annoying, you pay 13.99 on a movie and they cant even get the disclaimer off the screen. The dvd works with most dvd players but does not work on acer laptops or hp desktops. Works fine on my Sony blu/dvd player. I wore out the movie after 6 years I ordered a new copy a few days ago.

I have now gotten 5 movies from Zeus, and they work fine, the first 2 took a little longer than expected, but it appeared to be more of a problem with the USPS than Zeus. I recommend Zeus highly. Some great older movies!

Zeusdvd is without question a "SCAM". Milo and company are making very poor quality copies (which is illegal) of DVD movies, and are not providing artwork or a quality discase. I thought I was purchasing a used DVD of "Saddle Tramp" but I was deceived. Tried but failed to contact Zeus at their listed email addresses and phone numbers that follow: *******@comcast.net, *******@zeusdvd.com, *******906, and *******114. The product was returned to the following address for a refund of approximately $13.00 including shipping oneway - 101 N. E. 3rd Avenue 1500, Fort Lauderdale, FL *******. The email addresses and phone numbers are illegitimate, my letter with the DVD was not answered nor returned. Kindest regards, Jerry

I sent for the film The Secret of My Success, and ordered it August 15. I read the reviews on this site, but waited, and November 9, my DVD arrived. It was obviously copied from TCM, but was very good quality and I enjoyed the film, as I'd been waiting to see it since 1966. There are no additional features, but I'm satisfied with the copy. It is a no-frills outfit, but I got my money's worth. Zeus seems to offer a lot, and they probably need to hire more people or explain that they take a lot of time. It feels like some guy in a basement is doing all the work. I'd probably order one film at a time, and not several, as some people have done.
