If you want a fast way to convert songs or files from...

If you want a fast way to convert songs or files from a website, I've found this very useful. Typically I just copy and paste a link from youtube, and zamzar emails me the the converted link into an itunes file. It's pretty inconsistent on how fast they send out the emails though.

Zamzar's a great place to convert documents from one application to another. I don't have Publisher on my computer so when I received a document with the *. Pub extension, I used Zamzar to convert it into a word document. The problem was the formatting, but at least I was able to retrieve the content.

I have been using the free 50 limit service for a couple days. Converting old word perfect files to Word... it is working beautifully... but it is slow having to wait for the next day for the next free 50 conversions... So I thought I would subscribe to the basic monthly service (I assume upgrades are available if the need arises) My question is I don't see the lock on the page that I was going to buy the plan... is it a secure site without the little lock?

If I select the monthly pay option is there a minimum period that I have to subscribe (no minimum, 3 months, 12 months)?

If I have zamzar convert pdf to word can I then edit the document?

Answer: Hi Robin, if the file is a standard PDF file then we should be able to convert it to an editable Word document for you. Unfortunately, if the file contains a scanned document, we won't be able to convert it to an editable text format - you'd need to use specialist OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to convert this type of file to editable text.
