I cannot think of "one" reason to buy a guitar from anyone but Zager Guitars, but I can think of "every" reason to buy a guitar from Zager: sound, quality, playability, price, guarantee, service, support, training, lessons and beauty.

Music on the way
May 16, 2018

I just received my Zager parlor guitar and couldn't be happier. It arrived safely and looks amazing. I cant wait to be able to have some fun with it and continue to play for my patients in the nursing home. Thanks Denny and stay well so you can continue what you do so well.

My Guitar has arrived, i am very excited. It looks amazing and i am looking forward to having a lot of fun with it.

Nice job and even nicer deal. I feel it is too fine of a guitar for me to play.

I think i will hang it on the wall and just look at it, like art.

Gratsi!

My ZAD 50AE
May 12, 2018

I have had several upper end Martin guitars, an OM42, D35, a couple acoustic electric models, even a beginning level $800 type Martin. I've owned upper end Gibson and Guild and I have to say this ZAD50AE is better than 90% of them. It plays as easy as the OM42, great comfort and feel to it. Great sound, easy to play. I've played 400 series Taylors to 600 series and truthfully, this guitar well, I pick it up I've gotten rid of all the rest except the old D35 (1973 model) I can't sell that one. My next guitar? A Zager 900 series.

I'm not a very good player but I sure love trying. As I've gotten older I've turned more into a collector than a player. I now own 10 and counting, all top name brands. I'll put my ZAD900ce up against any of them as equal or better. It is truly easy to play, which is very important to me since I have a bad ring finger on my left hand and some arthritis issues. Not only are the beauty and sound of the instrument impressive but the customer support from the Zagers is phenomenal. I don't usually review products but this is one brand I highly believe in and recommend.

Remember as a young lad, having kissed every pretty girl in your school and the surrounding communities. Then you find the true, beautiful, first kiss? That will happen when you finally play a Zager. No matter how many guitars you have played, or girls you have kissed, get ready for the "wow, where have you been all these years." W. Lance Sutter.

I just began my journey of learning to play the guitar a few months ago. I own a very expensive Martin 000, a Taylor GS mini, a Zager 50 CE, and now a Zager Travel Size. My Zagers are definitely easier to play and sound better to me. The Zager Travel size with the 12 fret neck gives me a feeling of better control.
By the way, my lessons have just started on barre chords, and anyone trying to play knows the problems those chords present to the beginner. I can truthful say that I am able to form the barre chords on the Zager easier than the Martin and Taylor. No, Im not perfect, but Im getting better.
I definitely feel the Zager guitars offer just as much, if not more, quality as the Martin or Taylor. And the cost is better cheaper. I wish I had known about Zager before I bought my Marin and Taylor. If so, I would only have two guitars instead of four.

I was about to buy a Martin GPC-PA4 or a Taylor 300 GS Cutaway but without seeing a Zager in person, I decided to take a chance on a Zager Zad80 CE and upon getting it feel confident that I made the correct decision. I love the Martin, but the Zager has the richest low and middle tones I have heard. It takes some getting used to the neck width but overall is easier to play than most others. Great deal, beautiful guitar and top notch service.

Precision setup, every detail perfect, depth & volume of sound is amazing, beautifully finished in deluxe safe case which is important to me as I travel worldwide. Many top musicians have played it in airports, festivals, trade shows n Ive lost track of the number that wants to buy it on the spot. In Italy a performer offered me 5x what I paid for it cash I still have it. Maybe its one of a kind but I doubt it Zager personally inspects n chooses each one as though it was custom built for the new owner. It has become an heirloom. Traveling over the world meeting Fine craftsmen in Spain Italy Germany Austria Mexico it is funnto watch old master look at the detail of Zs & admire like you would a new baby. It is the best n I shopped & played countless travel guitars & none can hold a candle to a Zager. Charlie

Zager perfection
May 12, 2018

The Zager guitar is, without reservation, the best guitar I have ever owned or performed with. I have been an independent artist for over 40 years and have owned and played some of the best guitars money can buy. After all those years of serious playing, giging and recording I found my fingers were slowly giving up to the point of me seriously considering having to retire from the live scene. I started to do some research on what I could do safely and affectivley do for my painful fingers. I then came across an article about Zager guitars which are guitarist friendly and thoughtI would give it one last go with regards to my playing future. My first Zager guitar came and it was immaculate and sounded superb. I then started getting ready for an up coming gig and played the guitar a bit longer than normal because I loved the sound and to my utter surprise there was no pain in my fingers. I then did the live gig and went overtime an hour because there was no pain. As I write this there are tears in my eyes because I thought I would have to retire from what I love doing. Now. Thanks to Zager guitars I can not only continue but I can step it up a bit more. I wont be playing my other guitars anymore ( and they were well known expensive guitars) as the Zager guitars are well and truly everything I need sound wise and comfort. I will be replacing all my acoustic guitars with Zager guitars. I feel Denny Zager is a genius and a master craftsman and his family are carrying on this craft to perfection. If anybody is considering buying a guitar I would not go past the Zager guitar. It has truly saved and enhanced my career. Thank you. Yahdoh

I am glad I researched and shopped around for my first guitar. There are so many to choose from. I took Zager up on their 100% money back guarantee. I bought my Zager ZAD50 two years ago. My guitar is superb. It really is easier to play. Do not underestimate the 2mm or so extra spacing between the strings. The craftsmanship is noticeable before you even pick it up. I am not a professional, but I now know the feel of a great guitar. Try one for yourself. Zager will take care of you. Go for it!

I love my ZAD80 CE. I live in Nashville so I have played a few high end guitars. I could never really afford one. Your guitar wins hands down. I tell everyone, just buy one you'll love it. This guitar plays like a dream and sounds alive. Many nights I play late after the wife is asleep. So this is easy finger picking as not to be loud. This is where I really notice the sustain. This guitar rings forever with the slightest caress of the strings. It is so easy to play all the way beyond the 12th fret into the cutaway. The sound is perfect and balanced. It sounds like an old friend right out of the case I can tell that Denny Zager is a master builder and has a fantastic design and build process. It is just so much more a guitar than I would have thought possible. The fit and finish are museum quality. The Grover tuners are so precise and the built in Fishman electronics and tuner are awesome. I wish I could buy more of these. I swear in years to come these will become the Stradivarius of acoustic guitars: built by a master craftsman with more insight of the instrument, the wood, the design, and the build. Many thanks to everyone at Zager for doing what they do.

I am 77 years old and due to hand problems was unable to extract a clear chord from my Martin D28. So, I sold the Martin and after several weeks of research I settled on Zager Guitars. The instrument arrived in a timely manner turned out to be just what Zager promised. I was able to play a series of clear, clean chords right out of the case. This guitar is most likely my last and I couldn't ask for a finer instrument.

I had never physically seen or touched a Zager, so it was a leap of faith to hit that purchase button and await the arrival. I am SO VERY HAPPY that I did, and were I wealthy, I'd do it again. :) Always good to have a back-up, right?!
Now to the nitty gritty details: I am 5'2", on a good day... with heels. I took advantage of the helpful videos on Zager's website, and with their help was able to select the OM model. It is an absolutely perfect fit! I have played the piano, fiddle, and mandolin for years, but I am a beginning guitar student. I was about to give up, I was so very frustrated. I was taking advantage of my siblings dreadnoughts, trying to come to terms with one of them, and it just was not working. Sadly, I didn't realize that it was because the instruments were too large, and were not set up for beginners. I just thought I was hopeless. I was tearing up my fingertips on their high actions, (even with my existing callouses) and was plagued with hand cramps as I struggled to strengthen and gain more flexibility in my hand and wrist. I nearly had a meltdown when my teacher introduced bar chords. Seriously, nearly threw the towel in. I even purchased those stupid silicone fingertip guards, that's how desperate I was. So, while I was really struggling with the chords and scales, I was also failing miserably to set up decent strumming patterns. I'd no sooner get in the groove, then my right hand would drift down near the saddle. It was very stiff, and awkward sounding, with no consistency. Again, I assumed that it was because I was failing to split my concentration between the two hands. My first lesson - last week - with my Zager was euphoric! I never would have imagined what a difference this new guitar would make. Do you know that I can keep up a strumming rhythm?! It is so easy and natural, and my hand just naturally stays where it is supposed to over the sound hole. I can reach it! Amazing. So much freer and more natural. Here's the kicker, I am actually happy to practice, instead of fighting pain and frustration every time I pick up a guitar. I am flying through bar chords that I had already secretly determined to cheat my way out of! As for the customer service, they are really firing on all cylinders. I am so very impressed. I contacted Zager thru email with a question on my invoice, and they responded almost immediately. And their response was incredibly kind and generous. They certainly went above and beyond, and I am most grateful. I have been dragging this guitar with me everywhere I go, and telling all who will listen that they really do need a Zager in their life!

I am so thrilled to have found your guitar company by chance. I was simply ordering some new guitar strings online. I am 58 and decided that guitar playing was on my bucket list so I first bought a starter guitar in my area until I knew that I was going to really stick with it... I stuck with it so I treated myself to an amazing Zager guitar...
The best customer service I have ever experienced... Thanks from this late bloomer -

Really Awesome Guitar
April 23, 2018

I went through a lot of sites trying to evaluate different acoustic guitars. Not sure how I found Zager Guitars, for I had never heard of them, but glad that I did find them. I was just looking for a good quality acoustic guitar that sounded good to sit at home, relax, and enjoy. I emailed Denny Zager with several questions about his guitars', and to my surprise he answered me back with an in-depth, very truthful reply. I bought one of his ZAD50CE Full Size Acoustic Electric guitars and I'm one happy camper. It has a very rich tone and feels like I'm "Rockin' In My Sweet Baby's Arms" while playing it. In the near future I'm planning on adding a ZAD900CE Full Size Acoustic Electric to my collection. I'm sold on Denny Zager Acoustic Guitars!

Very satisfied!
April 19, 2018

I have purchased two guitars in the last month. I purchased one for my daughter last month and was so pleased, that I ordered one for myself. The customer service is a pleasant change and they really care about the customer. Denny and Dennis, Jr. Make it a very personal experience. I wear my Zager T-shirt at least 3 times a week. The workmanship, customer service and price are just three very good reasons to purchase a Zager.

April 16, 2018

Hello I purchased the zad-80omce aura lefty. I can't say enough simply beautiful to look at beautiful sounding guitar. I had trouble muting strings not on this guitar. Folks this guitar is everything that Denny and Denny Jr says it is. U can't go wrong with this guitar. Another amazing thing my fingers hurt and the tips were numb playing my Dean. Now my fingers do not hurt and I'm getting the feeling back in their tips. ZAGER GUITARS ROCK! I would buy another one in a heartbeat. I should mention that the I'm size is perfect for my small hands. Woe what a guitar. Thank you zager guitar for mine I love it. Also I should mention the zager pick is an awesome pick as well I like the way it feels in my hand and the easy storage right on the tuner peg.
