They are completely fraudulent. They steal from people through deceitful ways. They charge you when they know they can't do the job and this is a pattern they use. They need to be exposed and held accountable for their mischievous activities of stealing from people.

Replaced a battery and left without ever starting the car. The free inspection report indicated the car is fine. What a joke! When I called I was told I have to pay for a new inspection - they are just sucking money not delivering value. Stay far away, that's my advice for you.
Three appointments. Three no shows.
First had his app die a mile from house.
Second cancelled 30 minutes before.
Third never showed up and couldn't be reached by customer service.
Sounded like a great service and a good price. But done with them. I'll pay more and take it to the shop.
I have booked an appointment for a starter change and when the mechanic came, he couldn't find anything wrong about the car or why it didn't work. So he said it will only be a trip charge and he will refund all of the inspection and service charge. However, by refunding, it meant that the money will go back into your yourmechanic account instead of your bank account. So essentially, your money is locked away until you use it. They will never truly give you a refund no matter how crappy their service is. Please boycott this business practice.
Booked twice for the same job both times mechanics cancelled on me within the last 24 hours or so even after I paid in advance. Price is right but if they do not show, what good are they. Now I have to pay full price at a service station about a month after my original booking. Do not book in the ******* Zip code.
This is the second time I've requested an estimate and I have yet to hear back from this guy, twice I've sent messages for a request of an estimate and yes, like I said he has not answered once, that's what I call athis guy a flake! He does not reply! Maybe it's because it's a Mercedes Benz?
I. Called and had one of these so called mechanics fix my ball joint one side, was going to take 2 hours at the most. This guy that has 9 years experience didn't have the tool to do it, came back the next day, after I called the company because, this guy said he is going to order the tool and come back Monday… we'll that's not what the website said. A**hole came back and put it together or fixed it, come to find out this POS broke off two bolts and put it together… not knowing what this a***hole did, the tire came of thank god my kids wasn't in the car, so had it fixed and towed to someone that has a brain, told me he broke these bolts off…so of course this company isn't going to pay for it.,,, Claud 9 years experience could of killed my family's
Contacted YM and agreed on a price to replace a starter. First mechanic never showed up. Second one showed up and proceeded to analyze the electric system in my car, a task not authorized by me or YM. After 90 minutes of testing he was at square one-no idea why stater does not work. Mechanic proceeded to remove starter and realized that the replacement starter is the wrong model. He reinstalled the old starter and charged almost $400 for his "diagnostic testing". I tried to contact YM but no one called back. My recommendations is to avoid this company.
I paid $400 to fix my car with "YOURMECHANIC". They are horrible. They took the money, didn't fix the right thing… now I asked them to come fix the right thing, since I paid $400 for something that didn't need fixing, and they told me they won't make it right. They want me to pay another $150 for them to come back and then pay them more to fix something again. How do they keep doing this to people? Even after talking to them 20 times. Nobody will help me. They won't take my calls either. They took my money and ran away and now my car still doesn't work. After $400 spent for absolutely nothing…
This is the shadiest company ever! You will be able to tell this as soon as you call. This company is a FRADULENT rip off JOKE! I wish I never gave them my debit card information, I feel like I will be checking my account due to there business practice for Atleast a few months! Trust all the reviews I which are all bad. You get what you pay for. I'm this case you will definitely regret what you paid for.
I booked a Front Trans-axel replacement with this company a week ago. One day before the appointment they canceled it. Just a text message, I had to call them to find out WHY the appointment was canceled. They charged my CC within an hour of the appointment. When I called they said I should have the refund within 48hrs.
UNACCEPTABLE way of "running a business". If you can't do the job, DON'T SAY YOU CAN!
As a first-time customer, I am frustrated and unsatisfied to say the least! If I can provide 0 stars I would! First, my mechanic's name was Stacy P Smith located here in Georgia! I scheduled to get my spark plugs replaced on Wednesday October 26,2022, at 1:00PM. Stacy P Smith arrived about 2 hours late. When he started working on my car, he noticed that he had the wrong parts. So, I went ahead and rescheduled for Saturday October 29,*******, at 12:45 PM (this is today), exactly 15 minutes before my appointment, Stacy P Smith texted me requesting to reschedule because the previous appointment was going over. I was like no, I have other things to do today, please come and fixed my car. Stacy P Smith was very slow to respond back and didn't answer my calls. I decided to call the customer service line and explain my situation, even the customer service representative tried contacting Stacy P Smith and he did not answer. The customer service tried contacting Stacy P Smith SEVERAL TIMES! Stacy P Smith is horrible at time management. When I called him, he ignored my call and told me to "text him". I ask him is he still coming, now he is saying he still have to get the parts, at this point it is about 2:30 now. Eventually, I was tired of the back and forth! I cancelled my appointment, requested a refund (which the customer service rep was happy to refund me the total amount for the service and the $15 rescheduling fee). If this company wants to keep a good reputation, then they need to really become stricter about their mechanic managing their time. My entire day was inconvenienced due to Stacy P Smith not upholding my appointment. I honestly think that Stacy P Smith did not care about my car or me as a customer at all! If you do decided to use YourMechanic, PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH STACY P SMITH here in Georgia.
They were supposed to show up at 10am and at 10:30 I called to find out where was the mechanic only to find out they said he couldn't make it today. No message and no contacting me to let me know. If I had canceled on them they would have charged me a fee, but I get nothing.
I hirre this place to get my Jaguar fixed and they ended up braking up my car... The Jaguar was working fine it only had an electric problem and now my car will not start the mechanic got upset because I told him. What did he do you car and started yelling and arguing with me as af now still have not heard from the company I made several calls and they have not got back to me please do your self a favor don't use this company you will regret it
Please avoid this company! I was given a quote and I submitted my cc info to schedule the appointment. On the morning of the appointment, i received a call and an email saying that there was a pricing error and that the original quote of $219.68 has now increased to $614.45. Mind you I had ordered the parts and arranged to be at my home for the appointment. So, a whole day wasted! After speaking with a supervisor (Jennifer) who wasn't helpful at all and more than willing to cancel my appointment and remove the hold on my cc account for the original quoted amount, I told her that I was not on board with the bait and switch and now being asked to pay triple the amount. She said the best she could do was add a small promo to my account for the inconvenience, but Your Mechanic would not be honoring the original quote. She said Your Mechanic is not obligated to do the repairs and could cancel at anytime. She referred me to the contract! No remorse, no customer service whatsoever. As my pics below show, she politely canceled the appointment and went about her day. The audacity; I would be penalized if canceling within 48 hours of my appointment. Your Mechanic canceled and went about its day penalty free. Please avoid this company!
This service is the worst I've ever experienced! I made a appointment, the mechanic was late without any notice (2) hours... he diagnosed the issue and left... so I rescheduled him to repair... then it went downhill from there... smh. He kept Cancelling at the last minute... 3 xs... so I rescheduled another mechanic he came ontime... n installed the serpentine belt... he left... and said he test drove it and all was well... however... smh... I came to pick it up. The belt popped off pulling out of the parking space... smh... called yourmechanic they said sorry its up to the mechanic... he finally replied and said he's leaving the country for 3 weeks sorry... called back your mechanic... they appointed another (Master) smh mechanic... he called me. Gv me a hard time, didn't believe my story until I sent him a screenshot of the history... after 20 bk n forth texts... yes 20!... he then agreed to come out 2 days later but he's not going to fix it only inspect it! FOR ANOTHER $149.00! NOW I WOULD'VE BEEN UP TO 750.00 FOR A SERPENTINE BELT REPLACEMENT IF I DIDN'T CANCEL THIS 2 WE3K LONG PROCESS N HEADACHES FOR A SERPENTINE N TENSIONER REPLACEMENT! WHICH ONLY TAKES 2 HOURS OT LESS TO PERFORM! YOUR MECHANIC WILL NOT REFUND ME SO I LOST 600+ FOR HORRIBLE SERVICE! NEVER USE THIS SERVICE!
Today is Thursday, I've be trying to deal with them since Monday! They claim they'll contact you within 24 hours, NOT! I'm going to contact a local garage today and a wrecker service. I haven't heard a word from not my mechanic!
Raymond is experienced, good natured, and good at his job. I would hire Raymond as a mechanic any day of the week.

YourMechcnainc.com seemingly pads their estimates. When you are quoted 5.5 hours of labor for plugs, wires, coils, and EGR Valve and the mechanic completes the job in 2.5 hours, something is VASTLY wrong with the estimate model. Sure a good mechanic is capable of shaving time off of the book time for each task completed, but competing ALL of the tasks for the job in less than 45% of the estimated time... is MORE than suspect.

The ONLY advantage, I can see, of using Yourmechanic.com is that they come to your home or job. However if you can find a shop who will bill you by the hour for labor and allow you to supply your own parts, you could potentially pay less than 50% of what Yourmechaninc.com will cost you.
I used this service to replace an alternator on my car, as I had been told by an AAA battery service mechanic that my battery was OK and the alternator was not charging.
The mechanic, Andre Mowatt, showed up about 30 minutes late and replaced the alternator in about 2 hours. The mechanic rang my doorbell to indicate that my car was done, and when I went outside, my vehicle was running in my driveway. The mechanic told me to keep the car running for a while to charge the battery but warned me against letting it overheat.
As a result, I told the mechanic I was going to drive around my neighborhood, and when I got about a mile from my house, the car died with the same symptoms as the original alternator failure.
I had the car towed a second time to my regular mechanic, and they diagnosed the problem as a bad alternator and replaced it. I consequently filed a warranty service claim with YourMechanic and provided them with the invoice from my mechanic. I also told them that my mechanic would hold the bad alternator for 30 days, and they could pick it up anytime and pay $60 for the core.
YourMechanic denied my warranty claim despite my giving them everything they asked for to process it. They could have also contacted my mechanic at Marlboro Tire & Automotive if they had questions regarding their diagnostic methods. They could have also stopped by in person since the mechanic, Andre Mowatt, told me that he lived less than 20 minutes from me.
Answer: Don't do it. They have scam written all over them. Was told different prices from different people within days of eachother
