Youpic has it in its rules that no pornography is allowed.
However, one profile has apparently been taking the right to publish pornography for over a year.
The profile in question has apparently already been reported (according to the rating here by user Charlie H. In June 2022).
Well I reported it two weeks ago.
I was contacted three days ago and told how grateful they were for the report.
However, nothing has changed at all.
Even when I emphatically demanded again three days ago that the rule be enforced, nothing has happened to date.
This makes it obvious that the operators of Youpic are only interested in money and not in the well-being of the community.
I became a Pro member last year at a discounted rate. I didn't realize that my membership auto renews after one year at a rate that is 3 times the original rate ($360). They don't send you a reminder that the auto renewal is about to happen and they won't refund my money. Beware!
I always become so glad to share my photos with others on this great platform because it can give me a great chance to socialize more and also see some more photos of other photographers who are professional in their works.
If you want to create a profile and categorize your photo, I serusly recommend YOUPIC. This photography website has no censorship to any photo also any people can't screanshot your photo because the website don't allow other members to have a copy of your photo in their device. This 2 items are one of the best ability of this portal.
I have changed my five star to four stars.
Good Points
YouPic social aspect is at the top. Photographers can easily connect with each other. They can repic, nominate and favourite each others' photos. YouPic's social side is very strong and is much better than Flickr.
Drawbacks:
1. Very little difference between premium and pro. Do not buy pro. Premium is enough.
2. No online editing software like Flickr.
3. You can't download your own images after uploading on to YouPic.
4. Much nudity@ YouPic. Many photographers don't hide their nude pictures which are publicly visible. Flickr has a very good control over nudity. If I hadn't made online friends over YouPic I could have gone back to Flickr. This so called Boudoir photography is a disgrace to women and humanity in general.
As a photographer, I do a lot of artistic nudes. At one point, a representative from YouPic told me my photography was the type they wanted to attract to their site. But when a photo of mine was recently taken down by a manager, my attempts to find out why (so that I could avoid posting content deemed unacceptable) were met with contradictory information and non-answers, and I was ultimately banned from their site, rather than being provided with an answer or an explanation. And this, after a year of using their site.
If they treat users like that, I simply cannot recommend them, and would suggest you avoid them altogether.
When YouPic.com first opened, I enthusiastically joined. It was great in the beginning, other members enjoyed my photos, and I enjoyed all of the exposure I thought I was getting. Then, while enjoying YouPic's supposed policy of letting members post an unlimited amount of photos, I started posting a large amount of my action shots, I'm a Professional Photographer who does a lot of sports photography.
I started getting angry messages from members who objected to my posting sports photos, threatening me with being banned. I didn't take that seriously, and eventually, I logged in, and found out that I was banned. I was never given any official warnings, and I was never given any opportunity to give YouPic my side, and yes, a lot of YouPic's members liked my sports photos, and as a firm believer in freedom of expression, I never saw the problem in this.
This wasn't the end of the story. I took advantage of the fact that I had a 2nd email address, re-joining YouPic with a new username, "JWBannedBack!" I used this new username to continue to post photos, and to warn other members about the YouPic "Lynch Mob." I did get over 2000 views before I was banned again (no problem, I knew that I was on a "cyber-'Suicide' mission."
After my 2nd banning, YouPic tried to sell me their paid packages until I complained about that. In short, YouPic members are NOT free to post what they want with no limitations.
Now that Instagram allows members to post from their computer's there's absolutely no reason to sign up with YouPic.
I've been using youpic for a few years, you can find nice persons to chat with and great photos to watch, unfortunately the rewarding process is just damned stupid, making those wanting to be on the top list clicking all day long to catch thumbs up or inspirations by passing 1 sec on your photos. And thus during the past years tons of meah photos on the site now. Porn limit on some of them as well with no real admin to cure. The more you pay the more you get inspirations... So in the end good to be free there to follow some authors but in the end much more to find else where, the yp community is not that big, the site keeps followers even if they left years ago... Now. To finish, nearly daily reminder to subscribe from the bots...
I love how this site has leaderboards and is constantly updated. After being let down by Flickr, I feel lucky to have found Youpic.
This is the second time I have paid to use Youpic and again I am dismayed by their tendency to lie. I was informed that there were 'auction houses in London interested in my work, the catch being I had to pay extra and get the title PRO on my page. There was and never will be an auction house in London interested in not only my work but anybody's work. My second complaint is the issue with abject porn used by one too many users. I had hoped that Youpic was above this but it appears they will show anything if it brings in the money. I do NOT wish to see wide-open $#*! shots (@Boo) squirting and cum shots by some ageing harridan with a face like a sack of potatoes.
I will not be renewing my overly expensive subscription and if like me you are a genuine photographer then there must be better sites than this trashy one.
Youopik is a great environment to show your art work and your best photographys to all thoes intrested to pic arts and photography
A silver lining for the site would be seeing others photos from across the world. The issue is that the site is filled with bots, and ultimately there to scam users of money by hardselling you into thinking you need a premium upgrade. Fast forward one year and they'll charge your bank with their MAXIMUM prices with zero notice. You'll never get a refund or anything positive from Youpic; it's almost all fraudulent. This should be investigated for a class action lawsuit.
I am in Iran and with many restrictions in all areas, but here it has created a sense of success and hope for me.
When I joined I really thought YouPic would be different. The fact is: They are not, they are even worse.
There are a lot of great photographers of all kind. And hey, YouPic Team know how to catch you: You get a cover, you get the famous "stars", nearly every day, even without notifications from other users.
And then Lisa starts to send you offers with discounts to become a PRO member. In my case and in case of some other new members that I chatted with she tells that there are some very rich people who she thinks will buy some of your photos for a high price - a once ni a lifetime chance! And she don't stop bombing you with her offers, she insists and plays the very disappointed, because you don't agree. She don't accept your no.
Then when they notice you will not buy a PRO membership they lose interest in you, you can get a lot of nominations for a photo that you posted, the so-called YouPic curators will not select your photos anymore, you are out!
Funny fact: When I asked the You Pic Team about this, they said, it is "random" if you get an inspiration star, it is not the curators... So, better stay away, there are platforms with unlimited uploads, high quality members and and better prices for memberships, or even without any charges...
This is very helpful too u this vebside is so helpfull too uss and i am gald too work with u... and i khow evry ne like it its very helpfull too all about my expirince... i am glad too say it...
I have just been caught out by the draconian policies of You Pic around subscriptions, so wanted to warn you all to be extremely cautious. Make sure you cancel the annual auto renewal immediately or you too might get caught out. There is no communication that your annual subscription is about to auto renew and no hope of a refund if they do. Hundreds of Euros charged against my account for a service I definitely don't want and no right to a refund. This approach by You Pic falls short in 3 out of the 4 areas described in the attached chart on unfair contracts.

A great platform for freelance professional photographers to display their photos and benefit from the experience of others, and to choose the best photo from your point of view and see the number of views of your photo.
Answer: When you send a message to YouPic you will not get an answer. Most of the time it's an automatic generatic answer from the robot.
Answer: I wrote to them to ask the same question. Here was their response: "Its an activity fire we have." Not helpful at all!
Answer: Yes, I get many spam messages from Lisa in the website and to my email. They always ask you to upgrade even more and to ask you money.
Answer: Seems to be working fine for me.
