Being that we haven't worked with Yodle for very long we've seen some good results so far. A lot of the customers I'm now getting are first time customers finding me online through Yodle. It was pretty easy for us to set up our website and things seem to be working out well.
I work private investigations as a second job and really hope to get that business built up so I can quit my other job and make private investigation my sole focus. I liked what Yodle had to say and felt it would help me move forward in that direction. It’s been wonderful through the first few weeks. I signed a $2,500 retainer, received another serious inquiry, as well as a few additional calls. The customer service has also been just great – they follow up and make me really feel like my business is important and matters.
What a joke… I tried Yodle but then months later, decided to change my business around. So I called to request it to be cancelled. They agreed to cancel the service and check back with me in a few months to see if I had got things taken care of. No Call ever came to see if i was ready to restart the service. They billed me for 2 months service without my approval. Then denied me a refund, because I had disputed the charges with my bank. If they call to con you into trying their service, hang up and RUN!
Representative from yodle called our healthcare facility 4 separate times leaving messages for myself to give him a call back. Each time, I was busy with patients and to be fair, returning this call was not high on my priority list... patient care is the priority here. Our front desk administrator politely told this sales rep we were not interested and she did deliver the messages to me. His response to her was "you're really f#@*ed up" and she proceeded to hang the phone up on him. (Rep's name Anthony Cruz)
This is absolutely no motivation to sign up, call back or listen to any sales pitch! Completely unacceptable!
I know I’m getting calls through Yodle because when I pick up the phone it tells me exactly that. I know the mobile website is working because I can see the activity and I know that people are searching for me. What I like most is showing up on the first page of Google.
I was with them for awhile and they were ok but started noting a drop in calls over time and got rid of them. I made a HUGE mistake and called them a few months later and thought I would give them another chance. What a waste of $3,00.00. The web page I paid was vanilla at best. Going to dump them again and get some one else. Don't waste your money!
Just spent 49 minutes on the phone with Mike E. Who didn't seem to understand that I wasn't interested. After listening to his whole presentation and pricing (which I explained was WAY out of my budget), he still pushed and pushed. I explained that I had patients waiting and he still didn't care about anything other than making his sale. If he'd called back when he originally said he would later in the day, I would have heard his lower numbers. Instead, he talked over me until I hung up on him. They've most definitely lost any chance of doing business with me in the future and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know to avoid this company like the plague.
I’ve been with Yodle for less than a month. I’ve already made $4,000 from Yodle for my wildlife removal and pest control business since signing up with them. I’m pretty amazed at how quickly this is already working.
I am very pleased with the exposure and communication from YODLE. We have seen a increase in calls & business! We feel that YODLE is a far cry from some of the other companies we have encountered. Two thumbs up!
Do not fall for their "we will buy your domain name with a. Net for you". That way they OWN YOU and you no longer own that domain name. If you do use yodle, please buy your own domain name using godaddy or whatever. For tracking purposes they want you to use their phone number. That is fine, but here is my advice, on your website use a new phone number and merely have it forwarded to their number. That way when you quit using yodle after you get tired of paying extra $$$ for google ad words, you can easily stop their service. It is much harder if they own your phone number. Their service does work and it does bring in business, I give it a 2 stars because of their tactics to keep you as a client.
I’ve seen nothing but positive results with Yodle so far. We’ve used other lead companies before and we would get so many poor quality leads but with Yodle we get quality over quantity. We’re able to turn 90-95% of leads into sales. Since we started seeing these results we just dropped the other lead company earlier this week and plan on only using Yodle now.
I own a cleaning service company and have only been with Yodle for a little over 2 months now. In that time I have already received many phone calls and acquired 3 new clients and I have also gotten 2 one-time specialty cleaning jobs. For the short time that I have been with Yodle I have been extremely impressed with the results I have received. Having business come my way this fast, after my business had been stagnant for so long is amazing to me. Signing on with Yodle has more than paid for itself already.
I coordinate all of the marketing and public relations for Lexington Plastic Surgeons in New York. When I started working here we were spending money on online marketing tools that just weren’t exposing us to the right audience. We were getting impressions but not any calls or contacts. Now we’re targeting the right people and have seen a major increase in the number of consultations and procedures booked. Yodle has been very effective so far.
Yodle is not suited for companies looking to bolster their existing online presence. As a Yodle client you are paying them to create a completely autonomous website and promoting a completely autonomous phone # that is not and will never be owned by the client. If you are a start up, or are willing to abandon your current online efforts and willing to pay Yodle monthly or yearly for the rest of your business life, then they might work for you. As an existing company with an existing online presence, this cannot work for us. The sales pitch was appealing, high pressure and ever so slightly deceptive. Don't be tricked, just say "no". There is no buyers remorse period. Once you click into your "site" there's no turning back and you're initial investment (for us over $500) is stolen.
“Yodle has helped me capture market share from the local limousine company competitors. I have spoken to potential clients of the competition and turned them into actual clients of mine, all based on Yodle's competitive placement of ads for me. I get good quality calls but I really like that my customers can easily book online through the website Yodle set up for me. I’ve had a very pleasant experience with Yodle so far.
I handle the marketing at my dad’s dental practice and I know there is no way I would be able to do all of our online marketing on my own. So we’ve been using Yodle now for almost 3 years and I think they’re great. We’re getting without question a ton more calls to the practice. We used to get a lot of union work, but the new patients we get with Yodle are full fee patients. I was definitely skeptical about giving them a shot, but I’m happy we decided to go with them. The results have been excellent and I couldn’t imagine doing all of this without them.
I'm a dentist and give out my personal cell # only if I know you or if you're a patient of mine and call after hours for dental emergencies. Did not appreciate cold call sales pitch on my personal cell phone! What low class marketing group. Other dentist beware.
Been with them for a year and spent over $6000. Not one front page listing for any keywords that anyone would use for my business. I have kept my own web site going with no effort and come up on the front page of Google without Yodle. Why is it that the professionals cannot get there when I am doing nothing and can get there? I have gotten 5-6 calls per month, but most of them were for other doctors in my city and around the country. The rest were sales calls or existing patients. Good luck if you decide to go with them.
My experience with Yodle so far has been excellent. In terms of dollars and percentage we make more money using them over the other two companies I work with. The quality of the leads I get is better and I couldn’t be happier with the customer service. No matter who answers the phone there they know what they’re talking about and the rare times they can’t answer a question, they find out and get back to me by the next day.
I have been using Yodle's so called "service" now for 4 months. In that time my rankings have never moved. I find myself having to call and notify them of mistakes they are making (if they were diligently working on my SEO like they said they were, they should have caught the mistakes themselves). Needless to say I am now done with this company and would seriously advise AGAINST using them.
Answer: I received a few leads that actually worked out. However, it wasn't enough to justify using them in the first place. The leads seemed to come in when I had signed up for their "google ads marketing" addition. So basically, the google ads provided 80%-100% of the leads, not Yodle. I Would've been better off spending my money on Google Ads written myself.
Answer: Yodle only cost me money and quite a bit of frustration! Tony
Answer: I have a spare wet-vac if you have extra cash laying about. Give me a call. It would be a better application of energy use.
Answer: Run Forest Run. They make promises. They will put wrong info on the web. Who spends 600.00 Before a return if you gat that. Run Forest Run
Answer: Dont do it.
Answer: If you get a website made. The search engine go by the 2nd letter in order for your site to be pulled up quickly. You would be better off doing your own social media marketing, joining the BBB and Y and white pages of phone book. Magnetic vehicle signs, etc. Need more free tips email me at [email protected] subject line Javier S. Contractor. Hope this help you but don't pay any company any money for any work. Rhonda S.
