As a marketing director for one of the fastest growing cosmetic surgery practices in the country, I am glad we switched to Yodle from a competitor. While we were obtaining a ROI from a Yodle competitor, we did not have direct contact with a sales rep and understanding their campaign strategy was hard. However, when we switched to Yodle, the company proved to increase our ROI AND I had access to my sales rep to help guide me through what they were doing and why. We've worked with their team to produce campaigns that reach our target and generate leads. Was I nervous to switch, yes. Am I glad we switched to Yodle, yes! When I see that people had a bad experience, I'm surprised because when you track your leads, you should find that Yodle can help increase your business. If you are changing your strategy or have short term goals to achieve, contact them and they will help you reach them with this particular marketing tactic. Overall, I'd give them 4.5 stars because there are a few improvements I'd suggest in the client portal.
I’ve been working with Yodle for two months and have had a positive experience so far. I’d never heard of Yodle before they called me but they explained how SEO worked and it intrigued me. I managed to find some extra budget after the sales guy Scott talked about what Yodle will do me. I’ve already got several customers from Yodle and am going to renew with them for another six months for the SEO results to fully kick in. Thanks to Yodle for following through and doing what you said you’d do.
Yodle was recommended to me by a friend and being a brand new business, I decided to give it a try. For the last few months I’ve been signing on 2-3 new clients a month. It took a little time but I’m happy with my results.

I didn’t use any kind of marketing prior to Yodle. Since I signed up I’ve seen an increase in calls and an increase in business leads.
I’ve used other types of advertising in the past & the results weren’t even close to what I have received with Yodle. Their advertising has helped me get several high valued clients. They have excellent customer service and are always available to assist me. Highly recommend them!

Yodle performed amazingly well. In the first 17 days we made three sales. If they were just three sales I would of been happy, but one of the leads turned out to be a huge account executive that yielded 10k of business. This would not have happened without Yodle. In addition, they told us up front that the first month would be slower as they did their magic!... I cant wait to see what Yodle brings next...
I own a few dental offices in San Antonio and have been using Yodle for all of my Search Engine Optimization and Pay Per Click Campaigns for more than 2 years. Yodle has been very hands on the entire time. I have always had an account manager that I can reach out to if I ever need anything. I only spend about $1,400 per month and we average 110 phone calls and a couple hundred emails per month. I have been very pleased and will continue to use Yodle for all my internet marketing. Now to those with bad reviews about Yodle. They can only do so much. If you have a bad product, terrible customer service or just can't convert phone calls or emails to appointments or sales, that is not Yodle's issue. Perhaps you should re-evaluate your business, rather than blame those around you.
I own a landscape company that has been in business for 20+ years and to this point have been strictly a referral business. I have hired on a few new workers and decided it may be a good idea to get the phone ringing a little more so I decided to try yodle. The last 3 months have been good and I have my phone ringing more and have added a few very good clients to my company list. I'm interested in seeing how another few months works out right but I'm pleased with my results.
Do not have ANYTHING to do with this company. It is a scam and a nightmare.
My husband, who is very naïve about Internet marketing, was being pursued (by telephone) into a trial period with Yodle for our 40 year old small business. However my husband never followed through with providing them details about our business.
A few weeks later, customers started asking why we were opening so late in the morning, instead of our usual 7:00 am. I entered the picture and immediately discovered that a Google search resulted in our business, but the information that I had set up on Google years ago was entirely bypassed and replaced with inaccurate information and a website generated by Yodle. The website had a different phone number which was a tracking number through Yodle. It contained phony pictures and did not represent our business in the least.
I spent hours on the phone with Yodle. They treated me as if it was a joke... and actually chuckled at my frustration. I was told by them that they had no idea how they were able to "claim" our Google name and assured me that it would be released back to me. But it would take a few days. After waiting three days and still seeing Yodle information on our Google site, I finally called Google and they were able to remove the Yodle hold on our name within a few hours.
Now, 7 days has gone by, and I checked out Google site again and THEY ARE BACK! With the phony website popping up immediately on a Google search for our business name.
Tomorrow I will spend hours on the phone again with Google in hopes of getting our business name back once more.
BEWARE OF YODLE!
Lillian from Austin Texas called today and tried to get through to one of the partner's and I fished around to find out why since NOONE talks to the partner's without telling me why first she started arguing with me. I told her I would let them know she called. I hung up and she called me back to let me know I did not take her number and I said "I know because they are not going to call you". Well she then started freaking out and eventually told me that a specific attorney referred her to this office. Well I called the attorney and to my astonishment - She lied. Very rude people work here and think they are clever but they really are not.
I was definitely skeptical about signing up. Anytime you get a cold call out of the blue you always know it's going to be a gimmick. But, we actually listened to what the sales person had to say and it actually made sense. The presentation was really solid. So far in the past three months, we've gotten over 60 calls and emails and at least 10 new patients from it. They were able to make our Chiropractic Practice, West Hills Chiropractic, unique and let us be branded throughout google and yahoo. We are happy with how we can listen to the phone calls so we can tell our front desk what went right and what went wrong when a new patient calls and looks for a chiropractor.

I decided to sign up with Yodle after speaking with a representative at the annual California Association of Licensed Investigators in San Jose this year. It sounded like a good idea. Things started off slow at first, but then they really started to pick up. Just last week I got about 3 new clients from Yodle. I'm happy with the performance and the customer service they have.
I have been using this site for 3 Months for paper clicks. It has paid for it self and is continuing to grow
I`ve been a general dentist since 79. My web manager suggested yodle to increase my exposure and improve my new patient numbers. I needed to be more visable on mobile sites and my traditional web page wasn`t doing it.
Since I started using yodle, my call volume has increased significantly. My return on investment is about 2 to 1. We are converting about 10 to 15 % of the calls for office visits. So far we have had much better results than using adwords from google.
I`d give it a try if I were a small business
We are a small property management company and wanted to grow our business by getting more rental property owners to sign up with us. Yodle cold called and after hearing their pitch we decided to give them a try. After three months we did receive calls but all were from renters looking for properties NOT property owners looking for a property management company. Yodle could never figure out how to make this work. One Yodle rep told us they are having the same issues all over the country. You'd think they would figure this out before taking $1800 of our money for nothing. Would not give us a refund. We were totally disappointed with the results.
I’m a one man Locksmith company and I don’t have a retail store or a lot of money to spend on SEO. Yodle got me on the first page of Google which makes me feel like I can compete with the big guys without paying big guy prices.
Yodle called me about four times before I decided to check out their website and see what they’re about. We weren’t doing any online marketing and it sounded good. Decided we would try it and see how it goes and we got 3 new patients for our chiropractic office in the first month, so I think we’ll stick with it.
Answer: I received a few leads that actually worked out. However, it wasn't enough to justify using them in the first place. The leads seemed to come in when I had signed up for their "google ads marketing" addition. So basically, the google ads provided 80%-100% of the leads, not Yodle. I Would've been better off spending my money on Google Ads written myself.

You would be better off doing your own social media marketing, joining the BBB and Y and white pages of phone book.
