My bottom line was not positively impacted at all. They did not deliver the type of calls or "clicks" I requested. Total waste of money. They string you along with continued promises that they are able to do better and will. They never met those promises. The company even made a last ditch effort to keep me on board by making additional adjustments. Yodle was a day late and several dollars short. Needless to say, their last minute efforts also failed. Never again. The only reason I gave Yodle one star is because it was the only way I could submit this review.
So earlier today (12/1/15) I finally had time to have a chat with a sales rep after missing him a few times. We went through the video and so on and it seemed like it could benefit my new business but some things I didn't agree with. For example, I have a website that is already managed and designed by a very great company. All updates, designs, apps, etc are done by them. All I have to do is email them or call and tell them what I want for and all I do is pay $40 per month--No Contract. They wanted to give me a mini site but I wondered what the benefit of this would be because he mentioned I could be on the first page of Google but I stated that I was already on the first page of Google for most keywords, also I mentioned that I was already optimized for mobile which he said the mini site would be. None of this stuff I need. Do I need traffic? Yes, of course. Do I need to spend more a month? No, I do not.
Yes, I have to do a lot of marketing and other stuff on my own but its ok because no one knows my business like me. When I deem it necessary to have the responsibly of some jobs outsourced I will but not putting me in a worse financial position.
I own my own domain via 1&1 and just have it routed to my website through the companies servers but if I go with my website I keep my domain because I still own it. Why offer someone a website they don't need?
One thing that didn't sit well with me was when I asked the rep, "What would happen if the company didn't deliver what they promised? Because I can not afford to spend money and it not bring me a return." He first acted as if he couldn't really hear me because he was more than likely thrown off by the question then he repeated the first half of what I ask. I repeated the question and he said they would not want to keep me in an agreement if its not mutual but I would have to pay the startup fee (which is currently being waived) just to be let out of the agreement.
Think I can update my listings for free like Ive been doing.

Yodle was a HUGE waste of money and time. I did everything that they recommended and did not get one lead from the site. I did get a lot of inquiries of marketers wanting to sell me more marketing; they must know "I would buy anything if I subscribed to Yodle." Do your homework.

I have never written a review anywhere. I have to write a review for Terrell at Yodle. He provides the best customer service of all time. He speaks with the right tones, with clarity, concise, precise, patience, understanding, give suggestions. For example, he suggested that I enter an email for a customer of mine for a review, I entered that customer's email address, and in 30 minutes my customer wrote me a long paragraph review. He proved to me that he is real, effective, and means business (literally). I truly believe that with Terrell's suggestions and the help of Yodle, I can grow my business exponentially. I have more than paid for my trial period in the first month. Yodle has excellent customer service as well!
I signed up for Yodle last year, for a 1 year contract. (wish I could've exited sooner but was LOCKED in) I had high hopes for Yodle. After they took my money and got everything set up (adversite, dashboard, etc)... I never heard from them again unless I had a problem. I needed to call them and always spoke with different people every time and they were always "Script reading", like talking to a robot. No one knew what the hell was going on. The things they promised never happened. I mostly received "Leads" from other marketing companies selling ads, seo services, website services, wrong numbers, etc. The ADVERSITE they make for you is a generic template they plug in and the design is terrible. They cram in as many keywords as possible and don't connect with human beings trying to find out what your company is about. Trying to have changes to your adversite is annoying and must be done by them (takes several days and they usually don't get it right). They provide SEO for THEIR website url. If you ever discontinue service, everything is LOST. They will not actually help YOUR website if you have one. The review process they use is generic and carries little weight. They list you on over 50 directories which are FREE and you can list yourself on most of them for $0. I even signed up to try their adwords placement. Budgeting $300-$500 per month. I never knew how this money was spent. It would just disappear every month. I wish i had spent 30 minutes learning how to do it myself on google. I did receive a FEW leads, so this was not a complete loss, but seemed completely misleading from all those wonderful video testimonies you see on their website. YEAH RIGHT.
If you are an "Old timer" and know nothing about the internet and have NO website or internet presence going on, Yodle might be great for you. They really simplify stuff, put things in one place, and can provide you with a BASIC online presence, which you will over pay for.
However, there are TONS of better, FREE options available for people who are willing to learn.

I recently agreed to a six month contract with Yodle and this has, as far as i am concerned, a total waste of money. My clients are not able to leave ratings of their opinions of my services despite the fact that i have been sending them emails to invite them to do so as per directives from the company. Individuals i know are not able to locate my website. I received a message that i had a lead yet had difficulty retrieving the message and when i emailed back i never received a response therefore i am very unsure whether or mot the individual ever received the email given that my clients who wished to leave a review never received my email invitation to do so. This website has not been helpful at all. Given the amount of money i have to pay now for 6 months i am SO sorry i did not pay a local company to do my website

I called Yodel to get my business Facebook page set up. I was so happy to get quick and friendly service! Michelle also helped me by prominently displaying a link for clients to search all properties.

After having a few bad experiences with lead generating companies, I was very hesitant to commit to yodle. Answer: I received a few leads that actually worked out. However, it wasn't enough to justify using them in the first place. The leads seemed to come in when I had signed up for their "google ads marketing" addition. So basically, the google ads provided 80%-100% of the leads, not Yodle. I Would've been better off spending my money on Google Ads written myself.

You would be better off doing your own social media marketing, joining the BBB and Y and white pages of phone book.
