Terminix

My experience of Terminix was the worst from a huge company, I'm disgusted at how they actually bully people into paying them by treatening to do damage to their credit.
My experience started last January 2015 when my father who is 85 yrs had an infestation of bug at his home in Florida. So I called terminix and had them come in to spray the home and outer area, well my horror started because they suppose to show up every 3 months but never did and I continue to pay them, then I started to question them when I never got a receipt for their services but I continue to pay, when I question them I was sent an email with the copy of a reciept which had ok written on the signature line. I started to question that too they said its my dads signature, no but his is mg, no ok they said they would give me a $39.00 credit and I would have to pay the balance or if not my account would go to collection. Now I'm writing this review because these people think because the home belongs to an elderly they can do anything and get away with it, I'm saying it you decide that you need a company to spray fro insects or rodents please look for a more reputable company not terminix, they would take advantage of you and you still have to pay them.

I had one year of no service from terminix and I still had to pay. People please beware of these companies that take advantage of the elderly and hard working people like my self. I was paying for a service for my elderly farther and disabled sister, but I was taken advantage of. Please beware and if you can avoid using terminix please do.

Yelp? Help!

I have tried several times going on yelp to get reviews from consumers and have never been able to get a review. I stopped trying. Says they have reviews but I sure can't see them.
Do not care at all for this site.

I would stay away from this company if you want to get rid of roof rats. We paid $200 and was told that we didn't have a problem only to find out after getting a second opinion that we indeed did have roof rats. Don't waste your money with this company.

I am a small business owner. I believe that the company Yelp.com is violating my civil rights by suppressing my free speech by not allowing me to respond to two false review on their website. I have worked for over two decades years to build my successful business. Two false reviews were posted about my business on Yelp for the first time in over two decades. Yelp's software even flagged them as questionable because they were posted on the same date by two different false names and started out with the same words and the words are very slanderous. Since they refuse to remove them though they still come up in Google searches. These false reviews have done countless damage to my business which is hard to quantify. This false information has been posted for 4 months and I did not even know about it. There is no way for me to respond to these reviews.

Yelp should be required to notify businesses when any review, positive or negative, is posted about them. Not to do so is to suppress the business's right to free speech. Yelp has the business's email addresses so it is very easy for them to notify a business. I would also like my listing removed from their site entirely, but there help section says they will not do that. Is it not my right not to be listed with a company that suppresses the free speech of business owners? To make matters worse I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau everyday for about a week and have received absolutely no response from anyone. I also contacted Yelp directly asking for help and have received no response other than an automated response that they will respond. I understand that lawsuits have been filed against Yelp and they have won based on the fact that customers have the right to free speech. Well so does the business that the customer's, or false customer in our case, free speech is levied against. Free speech was never meant to be one sided. That is tyranny as it is cruel and unreasonable to allow anyone's livelihood to be destroyed and to silence their free speech. Business owners need to file a class action lawsuit!

Was looking for a new pest control company and called on brans pest control. They are new on the northshore but have a very big outfit on the south shore. A master technician named Jason came out and man he sure knows his procedure and chemicals pertaining to bug extermination! His prices are very competitive and his knowledge of his craft is priceless! So, if anybody needs termite inspections are just regular bug service make Jason Perron your first choice!

Went to Hampton Inn in hope Arkansas first of Jan. 2016. They had non smoking so we went outside to smoke. After checking out and got home, found they had taken 250 more from our account. Called and they said it was because we had smoked in room, which we did not! Werent even there most of time. They took pics of table with supposedly ashes on it. Wasn't even same table as in our room. This not the first time they have done this to someone. Will never stay in another Hampton inn again!

Useful, good to have

A decent site if you want to check quality. The forte is restaurants, but you can find all kinds of shops and services to review. I don't see what's not to like. I've left some reviews and I've read some and most of it checks out. I don't usually review restaurants before I dine for the first time but I do leave good reviews for those who deserve it (and negative for those who deserve those).

Dependable, friendly and effective. He takes the time to explain the problem/solution to your computer/fax/copier/printer etc. glitch. His fixes are fairly priced. He keeps his appointments and finishes the job. What more could you ask for? Bob the Tech Guy is the one you want helping you.

We, too, have had the experience of being told by Yelp they "may" consider reviewing inaccurate, hostile, outright abusive reviews which violate their own terms of use -- only if we become paying customers. The first question I was asked when I tried to have the negative reivews pulled was, "are you a paying customer of ours?" When I said, "No," he said he couldn't help me. Since then, a new, positive review appeared and after one week it completely disappeared. Now our ratings are lower than ever. We're a new business, located in a small town, and can ill afford having our reptutation harmed by hateful, abusive, or inaccurate reviews.

Another suggestion: if you have been a victim of unfair business practices on the part of Yelp, file an FTC complaint. It isn't hard to do. There are a number of lawsuits against Yelp for unfair, deceptive, and extortionist business practices. Even their own shareholders are suing them for manipulating ratings in order to increase their business!

One business owner whose review I read described them as being like the Mafia. I had to laugh.

This creepy website misleads you to believe that you can evaluate businesses on their site. DO not believe that BS! They hide and delete your negative reviews if the company contributes to their funding. They do not allow you to log in, if you write negative reviews about businesses that pay them. They are the biggest bullies that should be sued for frauding the public.

Worst Review System Ever

If you are a business owner you are at the mercy of this insane website and the reviews that are posted. You can have a great customer who loves your food and wants to leave you a great review yet YELP will remove the review since they think it is a fake. But than some disgruntled employee who stole money from you can get fired and create an account and leave a negative review to try to hurt your reputation. I don't trust their reviews for nothing.

$84 a night $59 and $25 resort fee is a joke! The bed, towels and rug must have been there since Steve Wynn owned it, No joke, not funny. At best this room was a 2 Star. For $28 more could have stayed at the Trump Hotel...

This online retailer is an embarrassment to the online business community. I purchased a new Garmin unit and had it shipped to my marine dealer for installation. The dealer, who is a local Garmin dealer, got back to me and stated the unit would not work.
I contacted the seller and was told that I would have to pay for an additional unit and then return the defective unit at my expense. If it was not factory original packaging or showed signs of wear the returned unit would not be credited in full. Instead of providing any degree of customer service, they performed CYA for the entire conversation.
Customer service – none existent
Supervisors – non – communitive, unable to comprehend their business
g.factoryoutletstore.com is a scam. Avoid doing business with them. Buyers beware.

I wa searching craigslist for a small one bedroom studio apartment when I thought I had found one in the area. I had actually found a couple of spots and the two different people I spoke to, Alex and Steve, to view these two different places. Alex and Steve gave me the same address to the same place in Baldwin Park and when I went I was told $200 upfront for $150 could be used as a down payment. I then realized the contracts were all fake, the offers, apartments, everything was all fake and I still am homeless with no apartment or studio but out $200 with these people. When I called the place they had me on hold for a very long time and when I was talking to someone they had hung up on me twice, so Monday I need to go in and bring legal help because everyone else who made a review on them had the SAME issue. Not good very fraud.

As per the review title - if you want to go to a resto, a store, even an amusement park. You go here so you can set your expectation. You'll certainly know if you are about to bring your date to a crappy Italian restaurant or to a good amusement park.
