I was completely satisfied with my basic Xfinity service. Until I got a call from a representative from Xfinity telling me that I qualified for an upgrade that will be paid for by a program call internet Essentials plus. I agreed because it sounded like a good deal. Then I got a bill of more than double what I was paying for previous. So I tried to call customer service to figure out why I was billed more than double, but got the run around and told something different from 4 different Xfinity representatives and still never got a clear answer. Xfinity customer service is of very poor quality and it is very difficult to get hold of. The service is good until they try to scam you into upgrading and you have to pay more than double. I recently did a survey online about Xfinity and I gave them excellent reviews but now I regret it because in just one week I've had a very dissatisfying experience with Xfinity. If they never called me, offering their upgrade BS and just leave things be I wouldn't have any problems with Xfinity. I am shopping around looking for a better deal from Xfinity's competitors.

Terrible company.

I have been a loyal customer, yet my rates keep going up. My bill was supposed to be $109, yet it is $200 consistently. When you call for explanation, after 2 hours of talking to an automated message, you will finally talk to someone in the Philippines. They charge a month ahead so you're never caught up. I am canceling this company asap, as soon as I can come up with the $200. They are Comcast with a different name. Terrible, terrible company. I pay a bill and 2 weeks later my service is off. I'm done with it.

AWFUL SERVICE

I waited on the phone for customer service for 1 hour and a voice finally came on the phone and the call was immediately disconnected. This is the worst company to deal with. They have too much of a monopoly and it's ridiculous because their service is the worst.

And its not the people that are trying to help yous fault. Its Xfinitys policies and procedures! Have never experienced such bad customer service! Yesterday I ordered wireless service and my credit card wouldn't work and they couldn't accept any other form of payment so he advised that I go into the store and assured me I didn't need an order number because it (the info) would all be there. I went to the bank and got the money then proceeded to the store. I had to re order so i did. Time to pay, right? Wrong... They dont accept anything except credit cards he advised I go to Walmart and pick up a "prepaid card". Ive never gotten one of these before but i pulled it off. Back at xfinity ready to pay and uh oh no worky for the prepay. Im an hour into this not including the phone order previously that afternoon. Finally he got the card to work. But I wanted to port my phone number which Ive had over 5 years but i have to have an account number and pin from my former wireless service. That wasn't going to happen standing in the xfinity store so he gave me his card and explained all I had to do was email him the info and it would be done. I got home and did just that then waited all day and, you guessed it, NOTHING! SOO, that evening I called (and by the way you cant ring your local office, they have experts in a special division to take care of all calls) and after 10 minutes of asking for customer service so o could speak to a live human i get patched through and do you know what?... Im sick of spending time writing this after spending hours over 2 days just to get this service which sucks! And no I never did get my number ported ughhh!

I had to move away from the address which was serviced by xfinity. They charged me $8/month to "suspend" my account to avoid paying full price for a service I WAS NOT USING. Garbage company and I would buy internet from any other provider just to avoid them if I could.

After cancelling cable tv I had someone call me two weeks later asking to take a phone survey on why I cancelled. I kid you not the survey took 26 minutes. What company thinks it's ok to give a 26 minute survey after someone cancelled their service? Who runs this company because to be honest I think they're on their way to bankruptcy.

So nice and easy when getting on board but to leave means your their enemy. I cancelled my internet and kept my mobile; well my bill went from $128 to $189. I'm so upset that they continue to pass me to different departments when I decided to leave in order to save money. Well, no the early termination fee +phones, +current bill + and taxes+‍ have me stuck here. Really sad company, spend your money to upfront service fees. Smoke and mirrors here.

Worst Customer Service

The internet service is generally pretty great, haven't had many issues with that, but the billing schedule needs to be fixed. I pay on time every month and this month I was given a late fee for the price of a whole month, and on top of that I still had to pay this months after that "late fee." I've talked to multiple agents and even their direct billing department, and the late fee was reversed, but my internet is still getting shut off daily and I still haven't gotten my return on the "late fee." I wouldn't recommend if you don't want issues with the money aspect and paying double for one month because they can't keep track of your payments.

Dont bother with these clowns. Cell phone stopped receiving calls and after 8 visits, they still cant fix it. Even sent me to Best Buy to see if they could help me. They don't even deserve 1 star.

One star is way too much. I've been with Xfinity for 3 months and I made a change on my billing date. Got confirmation from Xfinity that they accepted it. But what they do they f****** lied and took the money out of my account when I told them no. So now that I've got a negative balance in my bank account, and when the money is finally pulled out at the first of the month then I can pull up fraudulent charges the bank's going to press it in press forward. Don't go through the hassle a lot of us have this is a s*** eating company. When I first opened the account the first month I called four times to let them know that their modem wasn't working right. They said okay we'll send you a new one. Well they f****** lied again and again and again. What did they send me a f****** coaxial cable and each time I called they said oh we'll send you a new modem. Don't waste your money and your time and your aggravation with this f***** up company they've already lost over 1.5 million customers this last year. You can find the information out on the internet and the only thing that this company is concerned about is trying to get their $#*! out of debt with the shareholders and satisfy and make them happy again. The stock's already down $20 more a share. But the CEO he don't care he's getting paid he's got his whores his prostitutes his boats his planes his big expensive houses, so what does he care about the people who buys into this business. He could care less. My next step is to get online get on board with this class action lawsuit I'm tired of getting ripped off I'm tired of being lied to like corporate $#*! heads. Don't waste your time people go somewhere else

Frequent unannounced multi hour/day outages. Forget about talking to a human in 'customer service'. I work remotely and depend on reliable internet service and that's not happening with xfinity/comcast. We go hours without any internet/cable service and there's no credit on our bill for services not rendered. Not to mention having to use my cell as a hotspot so I can keep working. This amounts to an increase in my data usage and more out of pocket costs. AT&T is laying fiber in our neighborhood and TMobile now has wireless internet available so going to check them out for what I hope will be better service.

Literally the worst! I can never get ahold of them and their online chat always says that there is nobody available. I canceled my account and they have been billing me every single month, even though I canceled with them over a year ago! They also charged me for "unreturned equipment" when I mailed it and even got confirmation that it made it from the tracking number! I can't get ahold of them to get it fixed. Please never go with Xfinity. Very unimpressed.

Oh my God. I wish to give them 0 STAR but companies are smart and there is no way customer can assign a 0 star. I called CC and phone boat says that I have to chat before someone can talk over the phone. Automated call system sent a link via text message and disconnected call. No option but I had to chat and explain 20 times the issue

If I had known how bad Xfinity customer service is I would never, ever got cable and internet through them. When you call with a question they will never let you talk to someone, when you have trouble with your cable they transfer you to some other service company that you text with or if you want to talk to a live person you have to pay $26.00 to talk to them what a ripoff! Unless you have a lot of money to waste do NOT use Xfinity.

Worst company

I've been with Tom Caster over 12 years starting from day one I got the double play it was $89 I went out and bought my own modem and which they build me every single month and I had to argue for at least an hour to two hours every single month to get that charge taken off in which they accused me of lying and not buying my own when I have a Best Buy receipt and the box with the serial number matching the modem moving forward they would every single mom off my bill up 5 to $10 for some unexplained reason saying get the package price that I was locked in that was no longer available in this is the new going rate there for breaching the contract I currently have no internet for the past week plus I contacted them immediately they said it was my modem I went out and got a new modem the new modem from Xfinity store that they sell does not work either so now I have two perfectly good working modem still no service they stood me up twice on Sunday and never show they gave me a $20 credit for standing me up first my future bill and I still don't have any Internet and have to wait another two days so it's been about going on almost two weeks absolute worst company ever

Every few days it's constant disconnections. I purchased a new Netgear modem and router and the same thing happens as with the older model. I even use a power control for my modem that shuts off power for 15 minutes every night so I don't have to do it manually. But I still have to manually power off and on regardless following a disconnect. Service dept is useless. As soon as I have any option other than Comcast and AT&T I'm leaving.

Terrible

For years I struggled with xfinity, terrible on all levels, poorest connection, customer service was useless as well, it was my only option for internet so they had me over a barrel and didn't care! Thank god Windstream Kinectic became available. Not only was it a relief to have another option, but it is way superior to what I had from xfinity. I can't believe the difference, finally it's not a struggle to have decent internet connection!
