Impossible to get an agent on the phone. I just can not fathom why xFinity thinks talking to a robot or texting is the way to handle cmrs who want a live agent. It took me 10 minutes and 2 phone calls (yes, I was screaming my responses as the time went on).
I have been a loyal customer at Xfinity for 3+ years now. Time and time again, they never fail to infuriate my soul. My list of problems goes ON AND ON. To begin with, the automated phone system is a huge crock of SHAT. Most of their agents have 0% competency when it comes to my problems. They pass you on to different agents when they don't know the answer to your questions. They try and trap you with promotional deals without fully explaining the parameters. You ask questions to get more detail on what you're trying to sign up for and they either give you the run around or they pass off some bs information that really has little value to the response. Charges come out of nowhere for random stuff. I signed up for STARZ channel through Xfinity. Couldn't even sign in to the STARZ app using your Xfinity provider for whatever reason. Tried to charge me $60 a month to turn back on a Flex Box they gave me FOR FREE because an agent of theirs convinced me to sign up for Internet Essentials without telling me the flex box can't be used with internet essentials. So now I'm paying $7 a month until I return the box or $60 a month to USE the box. WHAT?! When it was free to begin with? The same agent said that by switching to internet essentials Id have an extra $30 credit on my bill every month. He began trying to entice me with their Xfinity Mobile service saying I could use the $30 credit for free phone service & he could send me a SIM card and id have 7 days to activate. If I didn't activate it within that 7 days I wouldn't be charged. I didn't activate it and guess what?! They still charged me. I didn't realize until the 3rd month and my bill was $122 for a service I NEVER used nor did I sign any type of contract or agreement for. And somehow my bill is still 16.80 even after the so called "$30 credit". This company is genuinely all over the place. You don't treat your customers of 3+ years the way Xfinity has treated me. I'm thankful to everyone who has ever been an actual help to me at this company. Oh wait, no one ever has.

I have been dealing with an issue with Xfinity for about two months now. I had called them & told them I was moving. They asked where I was moving to so I told them & let me know they did not have service. I asked to cancel service the day before my move date & asked if I would be charged since they don't have service in the area I was moving to. They told me no then proceeded to take the money out of my account ($427). So I called, emailed, chatted with them on many occasions. They kept telling me I would be refunded for the amount within 9-10 business days & the check never comes.
I am so upset I was promised 5 times that they will hook up a camera and internet guys out all 3 did not know how too hook up camera the manager told me too calm down or leave u have too understand 5 times went out of my way with pain my time my gas so they canceled me out I pay $117 no internet that's alot same movies over and over please look esle where both managers
Stay away from this company, the worst customer service ever they will hang up on you if they don't want to answer any questions
The most dishonest cable company. Several times they lied to me trying to tell me the cable signal was weak from my cable box when finally an employee spilled the beans and said they want to change out my modem to a 5G, which means raising the monthly fee. Then I receive an email stating there will be 2 hour incremental outages for an undefined period. Lies lies lies! Oh there were cable outages all right however my cable has been out almost 8 hours and no text updates as promised and their web page says "out of order" and I pay $287.00 a month for this!? Time to start streaming and cut the cable.
Xfinity customer service sucks. My home phone and internet went out on July 21 2022 and to this day my home telephone don't work. I am paralyzed and medically needy but that makes no difference to Xfinity. I have lost my job due to my telephone service not working and I can't call and ambulance when and if I need one. Xfinity has been paid in full every month even though I didn't have all my services. Customer service agents don't return phone call nor do they care about the customer.
Once again just terrible service on the part of Comcast/Xfinity. You don't have to look to far to see how many times I've contacted you about this horrendous service. About a month ago You guys were in the neighborhood performing an "upgrade" for better service in the area. The service was down for a fay and a half for the "upgrade" since then we still have had outages and disruptions in our service.
At this point I'm just waiting to move so I don't have to deal with this terrible service. You guys are literally stealing money from clients with the amount of downtime accumulated from this "outages" and "unscheduled maintenance sessions." Whatever you have going on in the Salt Lake City area is obviously not working. Thanks for taking our money with no word on compensation for the ongoing issues we experience with your service
I was trying to figure out why my bill was increased after a year and if they had any promos - the agents transferred me 3 times and did not offer any solution.
We are constantly having terms of outages. Our security cameras are dependent upon a Constant WIFI connection. Numerous times our cameras have not recorded an unwanted "shopper" at night, because the WIFI had stopped working. I personally have witnessed this when a thief was on the premises and upon checking, "there was no WIFI." Happens randomly day and night, several times daily!
I hate Comcast / xfinity the customer service is the worst i ever experienced in my life. I don't usually use words like hate but i hate it.
Ok. So I have been an Xfinity Internet, Cable & Phone customer now since 2014. I work exclusive from home, remotely. For the most part service has been alright, meaning consistent, but there are certain times where it is not. Recently, for 4 wks straight my internet would go out from around 11:15am-1:15pm. I'm on the phone or computer with a client and all of a sudden no internet. I work in Mental Health & Education online. So basically this keeps happening and the employers don't want to keep hearing this. Lucky I'm a good valuable employee. Call CS agent says well they are working on doing this & that and this is the last week they will be doing so. She was very helpful, even gave me a credit adjustment on my account, but this is completely unacceptable business on Xfinity's part. LET YOUR CUSTOMERS KNOW WHEN AN AGENT WILL BE WORKING ON THE SERVICE FOR A DAY OR DAYS OR FOR WEEKS. I had to call to find out what was going on and each time just the message saying an agent is working in your area. To have internet go out the same time for 4 wks straight and nobody warns customers beforehand is totally UNACCEPTABLE! YOU ALL HAVE TO DO BETTER OR YOU WILL LOSE BUSINESS! Particularly for those of us who work from home!
Since 7/28/2022 I have had so much unnecessary stress from trying to downgrade. I knew on 8/11/2022 my promotional 24mo cable package was going up. So I called on 7/28 to downgrade because we can't afford it and don't use cable really anyway. I have called, chatted online, and text with so many representatives this whole month I can't even count. I have a newborn and have literally contemplated canceling all together. However, on 7/28 I was convinced to switch Xfinity Mobile to save $100, that is would be easy they would cancel with my other mobile provider... that wasn't simple and isn't resolved still. I got a new box and was told I had to wait until the day the promotional service was over, so I called the day before 8/10 switched boxes sent old one back. I have had many internet issues and transfers and disconnects. I'm done!
Xfinity said there'd be "intermittent" outages "for two hours" while they "upgrade fiber optics." Two days later, still crap internet. No ETA in sight. My partner is now unemployed after almost two full days without reliable service. Useless.
We have an outage in our area. I called about my bill. They assumed it was about the bill and they hung up on me. They are too busy giving information and not receiving information
They keep upping the prices, their customer service is terrible and never know what they're doing. I'm switching to another provider and ever since they found out, I've lost service every morning for a couple of minutes enough to mess with my work. They're petty to a T. Look elsewhere for service, and their mobile service too. I had a brand new phone, completely unlocked and they couldn't get it to work after two weeks of back and forth. Then they kept recommending mobile to me when I said I was shopping around for different plans, despite explaining the issues I had with them. Either they don't listen well or don't care, which you don't want in a service provider. They're cheap at the start for a reason and none of their plans match better providers, they charge double for the same speeds.
The internet always goes out and it never works. Said they would give us a new internet box but never did. I'm not happy.
Apparently even though you are told before service tech comes. If there side it's no fee. I was told today that we have to pay to fix a piece on the pole. "Someone has to pay the service technician."
Worse company ever when it comes to fraud. I wanted to cancel my service with them and it was a nightmare. I had to make thousands of calls and talking to a lot of people who took my card information in order to cancel my account. Since then I have been seeing multiple charges from them without any reason. The charges/transactions on my bank statement clearly say it is from xFinity but xFnity says they do not see any charges on thier end. I had to change my bank account information because of them. I would never recommend this service to anyone
Xfinity prices are ridiculous! They make it hard to get a good deal with just internet and cable! When calling in, it's a hold time for 45 minutes or more. The representatives put you on hold for the longest! I will be going to Verizon! Comcast Xfinity is a rip off!
