I wanted to update to 300mbps as they suck 100 mbps and it shows $60 and after few screens its $65 why to waste time for $5, you can ask on screen 1 itself right? Waste of time in comparing the plans and i dont get 100 mbps so i wanted to swtich to 300 mbps and see the worst thing that made my time waste to provide this review. Cheap jack
Advertised speeds are without didactic access, no reach other than their internal networking which is wholly inadequate.
It sounded good. After they accidentally turned off service at the wrong address they offered me mobile phone service for $15 per month a monthly bill credit of $20 for a year and a $100 Visa card. Then the real fun began. I had to call customer care to help port my current number. 3 representatives later and an hour they said I needed another technical support person. I refused to wait any longer. The representative promised me I only had a couple more minutes and all would be done. Well he dumped me into a queue that had nearly another 2 hour wait. I hung up and stayed with my current mobile provider. My neighborhood has no other options for WiFi. As soon as AT&T is available to me I will switch immediately. I cannot wait to cancel Comcast/Xfinity. The worst experiences ever with this company. If you have other options take those.
I have had Xfinity since 2013. I would transfer my service ea move. I upgrade, etc. I recently moved
5 miles away to gated community who has a contract with another provider. I am not able to choose
Xfinity. I was charged an early termination fee! She politely repeated that I signed a contract. Yes, in 2013 and each time I moved- I transferred it.
I moved- Xfinity is not available in this community. Anyone else been screwed over?
Go with a different company. I have had them for 3 1/2 years they are constantly going down and at really weird times. They can be up and running during a hurricane and the following day they are totally not working. Weird. And this has been going on basically for 3 1/2 years. If I could switch to somebody else I would however nobody is in my area except for them. And we are in a booming big town. Don't take the bait
Bought a movie then was on the phone w/3 different reps for 2 hrs still no movie. Then told try later
Terrible customer service. Terrible speeds. Increased Intermittent outages. Overall, company is scamming its customers.
The absolute "Worst" Customer Service that any company can have! Solving even the simplest of requests are impossible, it's one large circle that they take you through as if to try and confuse you as a customer. After 11 years of being with this company and spending (Thousands) every year with these people, the results remain the same. They could less if you are a valued customer, and if you call customer service, be prepared for at least 1+ hour to be on the phone, and 3+ hours if you have a simple request. The CEO of this organization needs to put his martini down for one minute while he is on his private jet and read what is really going on with his company! This would be a perfect example of that TV show called undercover boss. He/She would get a wakeup call on how this company is nothing more than a 3rd world company that needs "Serious" fixing from top to bottom!
I promised myself years ago I would never do business with comcast again and reneged on that promise. I should have followed my instincts. The internet service is the worst I have ever experienced. Then I had a billing dispute. I was on hold for 2 hours and in chat for 2 hours with no resolution. You were talking to live people but they sounded like robots just following a script. If I can give them a zero rating I would. Bad product poor customer service
Are bill started at $50 month for Wi-Fi. Then kept going up all the way to $160. On top of that would have outages all the time. Customer service sucks. I don't recommend y'all to anyone as well will never use y'all again.
Xfinity needs to hire people who talk English and understand all you reps over 5 years me being here are horrible they don't understands English they act slow I asked not to go on hold they put me on hold and hangs up just sick of the service and reps
They signed me up at $54 a month if I enrolled in auto pay. During this time there was fraud on my card that was connected to the auto pay and I needed to change it. What they don't tell you is that even if your auto pay lapses one month they take it away and they won't give it back. Hours on the phone going in circles with reps and no assistance. They weren't even sending me my paperless bill. I am doing to be cancelling my service. Just don't DON'T sign up with Xfinity. They want to sell you the moon to get you signed up and they will try to charge you more and have crap customer service once they have you.
Xfinity store in Cumming, GA is terrible. They had inappropriate music videos playing on the large screen, and there was lack of support when trying to upgrade my internet service. My plan now is to cancel my internet service and move my cell phone back to Verizon.
I have had no luck in getting internet service for 3 days. I call and get representatives "off shore" NOT in the U.S. when I ask to speak to a rep in the US I get every reason under the sun as 2 why I cannot be xfered. I'm so OVER IT! I went to Xfinity in Aventura FL to swap out the modem, only to have to wait there over an hour to exchange a modem. WTF! They offer tech support@ $100 if they come to ur house and the issue is inside ur house... but it's included if it's outside. I don't understand. I need a new provider.
Xfinity is a monopoly- they back you in to corners knowing they have the "most coverage." I should not have to call every year to receive the rate I was told I would pay for JUST internet to have it go up by almost 54% if I don't catch it in time. Sad that you need to call for a "promotional discount." Dishonest company with the best coverage, bummer. Pay attention to your bills- I was randomly charged for cable TV when I was sold just internet, my bill went up due to my "discount expiration"- name any other company that gives you a 54% discount when you've been in their system for almost 10 years... makes no sense. I called and they magically got it within $5 of my original payment... unreal. I wonder how many people don't call and complain and pay that much more each month.
Recently got Xfinity internet and cable and the internet does NOT have the strength to support everything they promised! Can't even support my cell phone much less anything else I try to connect.
I'm very disappointed! We've been without internet and security since they came to hook it up.
I have spent hours trying to get my service fixed and fully repaired. I have been promised a call back, an inference from a customer service agent that a technician lied to me, and so, so, so many more issues. I cannot wait until my contract expires, as, I will be absolutely finding new service ASAP. The number of supervisors I spoke with have been nothing short of unhelpful, unintelligible and so much more.
Xfinity is massivly over priced for a service that doesn't work. I work from home and our internet is constantly going out. Customer service is extremely unhelpful as well. If you work from home avoid Xfinity at all costs. It is very unreliable and they will rob you blind.
Xfinity has the absolute worst customer service of any business I've ever encountered. On hold for over an hour on several occasions with billing issues. Their service and price increases due to promotions that are always expiring is a constant battle. Every 3-4 months I find myself on hold for over an hour with customer service trying to get my bill back a resonable amount. Xfinity really sucks and should not be able to rip off the hard working American peolple.
I received a text message from xfinity saying my bill was due. I was unable to go to the app or online because their website was screwed up. I was told by the person I was chatting with from xfinity that my bill was due on the 21st. On Monday the 12th my phone was disconnected. I called xfinity paid the bill which I discovered that my bill was doubled! I have called 4 times and still no service it's been two da!
