Customer service in Xfinity it's very poor. They do not know how to talk to customer about their issues. They are lying about recording the voices. They didn't have my voices back in August that I spoke to Asian they keep passing me to differ an Asian I ask them for management and the manager never called back. They are so mean I don't know things anybody have to have an Internet service or any services with them.

I signed up for Dish on demand with Xfinity as my internet. I was promised a $300 gift card ($100 from Xfinity and $200 from Dish), that was in July. I never received a thing. I call and was told by one rep I'd get it after 90 days with on time payments. They take autopayments, so I have never missed, but I still have not received the gift cards. What a rip off and big liars. If I wasn't stuck in a contract, I would drop them right now! I rated 1 star because there is no zero.
I would. But that's what you get with monopolies and a lack of regulation in the industry. Here in NM they have an absolute monopoly by owning most of the "backbone" of the internet, so the smaller "alternatives" really are not. Until then, they got you, suckers.
Xfinity is not a good cable company the internet service is sorry every month I have to call them and talk to them about the internet you pay to much money to this cable company for the service to be so poor. The internet keep dropping in and out and everytime you call you have to talk to an automated system.
Service sucks and I've been doing without internet and TV for 14 days and all you ever get is an automated person answering the phone.
Xfinity is a piss poor excuse for customer service! I called for assistance and after going through string of robot links. It didn't matter how many times I ask for a representative. When I reached a human I was hung up 8 time! Not joking! Where is the customer service. Why is it so hard to talk to a human. Where is the service? After the 9 time calling I was able to get my issue resolved, but when I asked for a supervisor to complain about my hang ups I got excuse "we don't have supervisor here". L left my number and asked for a supervisor call back. I honestly believe that will never happened.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have never in my life been treated so poorly.
If you don't need xfinity - go with a company that will actually have people that will help you. No robots, no ill speaking english service that would rather hang up on you than actually help you with your issues!
I have almost every service Xfinity offer and the moment I want to transfer the customer service rep told me and that I have recorded that you can't receive any information on your account if it's not complete paid out. If you want to know how this company operates just ask them for your transfer PIN number. And I try to upload the video I have I can't do that too because it's to long. And they are making you add a start I don't approve of no stars but that's the only way to submit it…
I spent days on the phone trying to get Paramount Network. At the end, I was told a technician would call me the next morning (it was 2 am). No call came. Xfinity is LOUSY! I'm switching providers because Xfinity could care less about their customers. I'm paying a fortune for virtually no service. My wifi doesn't even work. But they just take my money and fail to deliver.
First off Xfinity advertised $200 per device per line you activated on their service. Not once, did they explain or is it explained that you had to keep each device and line active and up to date for 90 days to receive the gift cards. They only specify that " when you bring over a device and keep your account active" for 90 days. So after 90 days I called to get information about my promo gift cards is when they advised me that because I upgraded to new devices that I bought from Xfinity that my promos were disqualified!
Second, back in August of 2021 when I switched over to Xfinity they failed to advertise and or advise that the unlimited Wi-Fi speeds get slowed down after 20 gigs of usage.
They have since changed that part and now offer several gigabytes plans. Unlimited is unlimited! So by their practices, you pay for 20 gigs of unlimited 5g for $30, after that you get slowed down to the mercy of Verizon because that's who operates and owns the cell towers Xfinity uses. What a cheat!
I would not switch over to Xfinity if you're looking at them for the deals, you will not be satisfied!
Time to seek a lawyer to hold Xfinity accountable!
I talked with 4 agents in as many days, they were unable to solve my problem.
They were, all but 1, more interested in trying to get me to switch my cell phone service to Xfinity than solving my internet issues
I am on internet essentials which is for low income. $9.95mthly after a break in@ my home I got cameras from xfinity@ $5 mthly. I had to move cause they sold the property. And then xfinity charged me the full amount for the cameras@ 1 time. $300. I never changed my service, just moved it. They say they charged me because I moved to the new address with my cameras. Now I'm trying to hook my cameras up but it says already on another account. Which means they charged me to move but left the cameras on the same address. And they won't fix the problem. I can't return the cameras cause I entered a contract to buy them! Then they say return my equipment! Some battery that I know NOTHING ABOUT! I have talked to 5 people in a week and still can't get this resolved! Nobody reading notes or nobody is writing notes. I ask for a supervisor and the representative keeps saying they said the charge is legit so they stall on the phone pretending to wait on a supervisor. When I go in an actual store in a total different city they say they can't give credits or change bill amount. This is RIDICULOUS. So I've been bill full amount for moving cameras to my new house but they don't work cause they are still tied to the old address account number.
I had to call these cats twice to cancel my internet service. The first time went fine and ended with the lady telling me everything had been cancelled. Fast forward one month and i get a new bill for my internet which should be cancelled by now... I had to call again and walk through the exact same 20 minute process to cancel. Overall I get the impression Xfinity does this on purpose to try and get you to stay. During the call you just sit there for 5+ minutes waiting for the person on the other end to perform some simple tasks... you do this like 4 times before your internet is magically cancelled and can finally get off the call. Will not be using them again.
The internet is fast. But they charged me for a full month's worth of internet for 5 days because they decided they wanted to charge me at the beginning of the month instead of the end. Absolute bull$#*!. The kicker? It wasn't even working for those 5 days because I forgot to pay the previous month's while on vacation. So I got charged an extra $160 for five days where the internet wasn't even working.
Xfinity / Comcast may be a good fit for Business accounts but for the private sector ( Personal accounts) it is a NIGHTMARE which one cannot escape; I have such distain for the lack of professional, excellent, intelligent, HONEST customer respect / service! This corporation should be FINED for its fraudulent business practices!
They never show up for appointments to your home. Customer service has no idea what is going on. They don't even have correct information when they make mistakes which will make things harder for you. Get out if you can
I will not recommend whatsoever. I did not have Spectrum offered where my new residence is. I went with Xfinity going on one month. I have has persistent loss of cable and internet weekly sometimes for days. I cannot get a hold of any senior leadership to escalate my concerns. I'm only able to speak with customer service whom is clueless as what to do other than send a tech. This is not the issue and I'm talking to a wall cause ever since they started a so called upgrade at the telephone poles my service has been a mess. Why isn't somebody listening with xfinity as to the real issues. They seem to think I'm an idiot as I'm more technical then their entire company. Who can I talk to to get the monkey off the poles and fix the issues. I have had more issues with xfinity in 3 weeks then I did with Spectrum over 30 yrs. UNACCEPTABLE XFINITY GIVE ME A NUMBER TO YOUR MANAGERS WHO SHOULD HAVE A CLUE.
Their customers are rude as hell. When you call in everyone tells you different things and every time someone else helps you have to explain yourself all over. Nobody cares, they messed up with me and it was their agents fault they didn't even apologize or resolve my issue. I told them to cancel my service they canceled with no hesitation, they didn't show no empathy nothing. I would never recommend this service to anyone, this was a waste of my two years.
I called with a outage of xfinity service on 12/23/22. The outage was from a wind and rain storm on the early hrs of same day.
They refused to acknowledge that it was not a issue with the outside lines. That was the only timeI was able to speak with a agent whom I could only upstand half of what she said. I did all the multiple steps she suggested which none worked.she then connected me to another extension which never picked up. I was unable to get help in anyway or even get a appointment for a service call. With the automated phone service nor online account.
But today 12/26 they show up and tell me they can't repair it but are sending a lineman today because it's from the storm. Also I was told 12/23 there were no outages in my area but today the repairmen said there were several in the area.
Xfinity is terrible, they lie, and do not respond to problems with your costly service till it is convenient for them. I am looking for alternatives for my TV and internet because I figure I can't get any worse than xfinity.
Long story short I called to ask why I'm being charged $85 a month for 100mbs and instead of giving me an actual reason they tried to upsell me to get the 1000mbs for $80 as if they were doing me a favor and would not scale my 100mbs to what their website says it is which is like $30/month. Overall terrible experience felt like I got scammed the past few months
