Horrible

Xfinity plays a monopoly on internet and they truly are just $#*!. They are the only providers in our area and about everyday it just randomly goes out, have had them come to the house to fix it and they say it's all good but then why does it continue to go out everyday. If you are able to get any other provider please do yourself a favor and do it. They charge a lot more than other providers and the plans aren't even that good like maxing out at a 50gb upload for 200 a month? I had Fusion at my old place and it was 112 a month for 1000 up and 1000 down. Truly is just sad how $#*! they are.

Lies and Robots

Good Luck trying to get what you deserve with this provider. Put you into robot call centers till you get too tired to care. A few years later what you cant take it anymore you will blow and wait the 2-hours to get service. Who knows if it will work, but take the BS while they are on the line.

Xfinity takes forever to fix any wifi problems. There was a storm recently that took out power all around me. Once the power got restored my neighbors with AT&T had their internet back up in an hour. It's been over a day and xfinity has yet to get my internet back up. Calling them doesn't get any help either. This is a consistent problem with them and has happened before. And the internet itself isn't great. I never get the bandwidth I pay for. The only time the internet works great is when I have a wired connection.

In hopes to not keep this short….With the exception of being lied to, given false assurances and dastardly priority statuses which never happened, XFINITY COMCAST assured me my bill would be $50…which it was for 1 month then my bill jumped 66%…AND…9 months later and I'm still begging them to bury my cable so my neighbor doesn't cut my cable with his lawnmower! This company ONLY cares about making money. Like ordering from a restaurant menu and being served something you didn't want! Just shut up and pay no matter what they decide to do! **Tried & failed uploading photos**

I've spent too much time trying to reach them via phone/chat. When I finally got a call back, they kept transferring me to different departments.

A lot of these people must have memorized scripts because their response, no matter what specifics you tell them about your issue, is "This is a really valuable opportunity for you." When you tell them you're not looking for that service, they double down and pretend to offer something "new," asking for your personal info to "set it up"... but it turns out to be the same, stupid, service, I, just, turned, down.

I recently went to my local grocery store and found a loaf of bread priced at $4; the price was confirmed by a salesperson. At checkout the price was $4. It took me less than a minute for this whole process.

Why is it that when I attempt to update my Xfinity account, I obtain three completely different price quotes for exactly the same "cable and internet package" when I talk to three different sales agents? And why does this process take many, many hours?

Lousy

I am tired of everytime we have an internet problem and call for repair they ALWAYS tell us that the problem is on OUR SIDE! They swore we had a bad modem so I went and bought a new $200 Surfboard and it didn't fix the prob so they sent a tech out. They always scream "bad connections" and "restart your router". That is their default answer for everything

Xfinity Service Sucks

Xfinity is the worst cable service we've ever had. They went up on the prices this year, but there are 0 improvements on services. Everyday the cable and internet is out. Like it is ridiculous. Customer support sucks. They expect you to go online and fix your own cable and internet issues. You are stuck doing the job of fixing your own issue when it is their job to ensure customer satisfaction. Makes no sense. At this point Xfinity should be paying me. I hate their service and I hope that more cable services become available soon in our area so we are not just stuck with one option.

Started service with xfinity about two weeks ago. Was supposed to have the fastest internet they offered. While the service was supposed to run at 1200, ours was running at 4. After numerous attempts of calling for help and jumping through time wasting hoops, I got through to someone who hung up on me. And never called back. So after repeating the process I get ahold of someone else who tells me there is nothing they can do and I'll need a technician to come to my house. Which they wanted to charge me for. The next day a technician came and told us they needed ANOTHER tech to come because they couldn't fix it. 4 days later and we hear nothing back from them and still have no service. So I go to call and get forced to sit through the torture of steps you must take before you even get the chance to speak to someone. After getting disconnected I decided to remove the router all together and will be returning immediately. Switching to AT&T who answered my call immediately with a real person. What a nightmare.

Terrible wait times, there's constant outages and they charge $100 for a tech to come out for 10 min and tell you nothing is wrong with the internet despite having outages for several hours for the first month of 2023. TERRIBLE service! Go to Spectrum! Never had a problem with them

My programs keep disappearing from my DVR. They disappear and return. Then they disappear again. It's really frustrating. It has nothing to do with how many programs I have. I have been complaining for a year! Xfinity does. Nothing. They tell me that it is going to be escalated and someone will get back to me. They never do. I posted once before. Someone reached out. I thought that it was going to be resolved. They were investigating and would get back to me. I guess you know how that went... I finally spoke with someone who made sure that someone came out. A really nice young man actually came and couldn't figure out the problem. I'm over it. Time for me to follow the masses who are dumping these thieves.

Xfinity has terrible customer service and they have been charging me double for my internet for the last 3 months, once at the start of the month and once at the end. I have repeatedly brought it to their attention, both over the phone and by chat, with no refund and no fix to the error.

They don't care about long time customers, Learn to cut the cord, My bill was never the same, just keeps creeping up a few dollars and unless you have about 3 hrs to straighten it out over the phone if you can even understand their accent and I believe they make it difficult so you won't bother to call over a few bucks so be careful cause their $130 program turns into $180 real quick but wait I thought I had a contract? Complain then they try to make good OH $10 off but wait again 3 mo later they hit ya with $ 45.00 more yet another half a day on the phone trying to figure why. BUYER BEWARE ( I could ad 3 more pages but I think you get it

XFINITY swiped my card twice within a couple of hours. Instead of refunding me the money back on the debit card I used like I asked FIVE of their reps to do, and that they assured me they would do, it keeps ending up back on as a credit. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Every single thing about this company is holding up on deception and greed. It is impossible to reach a human unless you tell the automated service that you want to terminate services. The outsourced agents pouring useless pleasantries to take up the time and if you are lucky they'll throw you a bone whether it's about restoring service quality or your unnecessary high bill.
I very much hope for healthy competition to come in the picture because Xfinity is a scumbag company.

Following years of subscribing to Xfinity's fastest internet service, I contacted them today to terminate our subscription due to declining internet speeds. To my surprise, I was informed that our modem was not compatible with the service we had been paying for. Xfinity expressed regret for not upgrading our modem when we first signed up, causing us to overpay for the service. Based on my experience, I advise against signing up with Xfinity.

Comcast offered a really good 1 year contract plus a free phone in Dec '22, literally 1 month later they RAISED MY MONTHLY BY $28, then added another $9.20 monthly (total added $37.20 month to my original Contract price) with NO EXPLANATION OF WHAT THE $9.20 WAS FOR effective Jan 1,2023!
Comcast hides behind saying before customers accept terms they list that they are allowed to raise rates at will. NO WONDER ON INVESTORS ARE ALLEGEDLY RATING COMCAST AT 40% for Bankruptcy. Last year they LOST 3.5 Million customers! A Contract means NOTHING TO COMCAST and after my term will leave them!

We have been customers of Xfinity for years. EVERY TIME we have needed help with our modem, we are never allowed to talk to and agent and then the automated system hangs up on us. In hopes of actually speaking with and agent to get help with our modem that wasn't working, I called the number for new service hoping they would help me or connect with someone who actually breathes. They hung up on me as well. Xfinity's customer service is by far the worst if any company we have ever dealt with.

Your app doesn't work. Your website doesn't work. Why the heck do I have to cancel my plan and reenroll when I want to change my form of payment? Why is your automated system talking to us as if we are the incompetent ones when your service is crummy at best. Decent internet that crashes when a cloud is in the sky but man do you not care about your customers or our experience.

Awful phone etiquette. Rabbit hole to hell. If you try to work with them on the telephone and actually get somebody to talk to you will get unbelievably frustrated heart attack zone.
