Xfinity is a horrible company they Jack the price up every month the customer service is horrible they give you different answers for the same question and you never get the correct answers. I would not recommend this company to my worse enemy. Run run run do not stop and go.
This company does not care about the customers needs...they only value policies and procedures. When your stranded without a phone, you have to wait 3 weeks to get it fixed so fyi, get a spare phone if something should happen to yours. They don't care about if your internet out, or phone doesn't work, as long as they're following policy and u may have to wait forever...thats the service u will get. NO EXCEPTIONS! I would rather pay more money and go with a company who cares about there customers and I will continue to complain to the BBB to try and get out of the contact they put u in. Its been nothing but lies with this company since day 1. Be careful. Choose the better company. Not this one
We had local Xfinity reps tasked out to come to our very rural community (Lake Butler Florida) and distribute flyers and door hangers about deals with Xfinity touting $35 a month for 200 Mbps service, which beats our local service provider Windstream in both cost and speed. I called and set up service, the representative indicated that we had coverage up to over 1000 mbps in Lake Butler and at my home so speed would not be an issue.
However, when the wifi router was delivered I quickly realized what the racket was. Essentially, since this is a new market for Xfinity, and they have not laid wires to the existing homes, there was an UNMENTIONED and UNSPOKEN additional fee ($100) to connect cable, which is what their router runs off of, to your home. When I received the wifi router in the mail a few days later and attempted to connect the new service there was no cable line for me to tie into. When I called them to let the know they needed to connect their service to my house they said there would be another $100 charge (this was never mentioned, and is only in the 4000 (exaggeration) page fine print of the agreement for service). I indicated that this was wrong but, Christine (sp?) the rep did not volunteer to address any of my concerns or correct the connection issue. As evidenced by her reaction, behavior, and approach to dealing with the problem, this is clearly a swindle and an attempt for Xfinity to enter new markets on the backs of low income or disadvantaged communities. Forthrightness about their actual network/service capabilities should be paramount, however they don't care about the little guy/girl.
I'd advise you stay far away from the scams that this company runs and report any and every issue you ever have with them as frequently as possible and on every site you can find to share your voice. Protect the little guy/girl!

I have been a customer for over 26 years. I wanted to upgrade or trade in the phone. They send me messages that I could trade in my phone but when I try to they say that I can't unless I pay off fully the phone that I'm currently on if that's the case, then added to my bill, don't say I can trade in the phone and go back on your work that is false advertisement they have the worst customer service they don't care about you even if you've been a customer for 26 years the phone that I do have is the worst phone you could ever have and also when you do wanna make a trade-in when they say you can make the trade-in not only do you have to pay for the phone completely off that you have they want to charge you extra charges for other things no considering I have been there so long, don't you think they would just add it to my bill let me upgrade my phone it's that simple and the other thing is, they will not let you do it online. You have to go to a store well what if you can't get to a store how does that work? I don't consider that helping your customers I consider that using your customers and abusing your customers. What kind of company sends false advertisement to you saying you can do one thing then when you contact them, they completely take it back the worst company you could ever go to I would not recommend Xfinity.
If you ever have a choice in cable and internet, NEVER use this service. They are down as much as they are up. Days on end without TV and internet. This is criminal
They suck. It is impossible to cancel when you're done. Service itself is fine, but I got billed twice after I had already canceled. It's impossible to find out how to cancel service, and when you do, you don't actually cancel, you "schedule a call" so that they can call you and confirm you "actually want to cancel". Obviously, you want to cancel, but of course they don't actually call you or they call at a terrible time, so you end up just getting billed again. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Do not recommend.
I called them to have them take 2 small boxes off my bill and told him I didn't want any changes to my channel line up. He said nothing will change except 2 boxes will be taken off my bill. He said I had to do the accept thing through text. I told him 3 times I didn't want any changes except for the 2 small boxes off my bill. He said he was not charging any thing else so I agreed. Guess what he changed my channel line up. I called to tell them to please put it back. The person I talked to today said sorry he did that BUT to put it back I have to pay more. I asked her to talk to the supervisor and she would not let me. All those nice things they show on TV are re$#*!ules.when the scam people. I'm elderly and have cancer. I'm not shocked for some reason. As soon as I can I'm canceling them.
When your service goes down and you try to repair it and it doesn't work so you call in only for them to tell you to do it again then they will check with you. Still not working? Then they do a reset. Still not working! Now we trouble shoot. Why not trouble shoot from the first call? I am not a service tech!
Hard to get with customer service
Too expensive for what you get and it doesn't work properly. Speed with their app it's always fast I tried others and doesn't even show half of the speed I'm paying for
Xfinity sent a tech to my residence who was so inexperienced in, installing outlets this dumb A- - dallied the hole at the bottom of the floor and had the ordacity to place the cover over it. Told me to give him a good review. Call to have another tech do the work over because his work was B,S. Another tech came and did over. I requested my installation fee back they didn't acknowledge the request. Four days after the installation they sent me a bill for a thirty day period but it hadn't been a week. The customer service didn't speak English. Xfinity service is getting worse,worse each year
They are horrible...automation, can't get through to a live person, keep you hanging on the phone, many agents don't know what they're talking about, reading from a script/robots, and chat is horrific. Dumb, I'd say. The chat thing or person obviously can't read because my questions are never answered. I wish I could find another internet company in my area. This business gets a -0 from me!
Cancelled service, still got charged for a full bill via auto payments. Phone system stuck in a loop since my number is no longer an active account. Their alarm system hardware is the slowest POS I've ever used and you have to pay a fee to rent it from them and it cost twice as much as Ring which you end up owning and spending literally half a much for both in terms of hardware and monthly fees. The internet has data caps, god forbid you download a couple new modern games, you will hit the cap. I have faster, cheaper, more reliable fiber through ATT now and it has no data caps, again Xfinity is trash. I have a laundry list of other complaints, but meh, you get the gist...FInd a better ISP/Security provider than Comcast and you'll be good.
Price gauges you for everything it can. Can't get human on phone without an ocean of prompts and making you do bot texting first. When you do get a human they tell you different things in contrast. Everything is about making an extra buck on you. Surveys they send are only marketing tools to increase sales to you. Phone service is horrible. STAY AWAY FROM XFINITY AT ALL COSTS!
I've been a customer for 20 years. I'm tired of being a customer. Channel changes, adding & taking away. I'm sure they provide notice on a paper bill but they want you to be billed electronically which makes it much easier to miss. You don't ever speak to someone in your state when contacting customer service. More like Customer headache. Not one person seems to know what the other is doing. On the chat app they've conveniently put the disconnect button right in the middle of the screen. Which means when you're typing & an agent reply's it's easy to accidentally click disconnect. I am certain this is deliberate. I needed a new remote… first time ever. I am not paying $5.95 for shipping on an item that just stopped working. I know, I know $5.95 is cheap… it's the principal. Treat your customers like you are happy to have them… like you need them. I am canceling service for phone, internet & cable today. It's just too frustrating dealing with outages (once a week) & not being able to just talk to one person that can actually help you. Not to mention the fact that my bill continues to increase. Bill increases but channels & services have decreased exponentially! Pretty sure cable is a thing of the past anyway. When that time comes I really hope this company looses its $#*!!
I was told that my current plan was $31.00 per month by your agent on the phone because I added Flex and it lowered my bill to $31.00 per month. I noticed that the webpage says $50 per month and I was told by a chat agent it is $45 per month. I was transferred to another agent on the chat and he/she never answered my question because there was no one there. The phone I received was broken. I have now been on the phone 6 times, a total of 4 hours and everytime they give me misinformation or they screw up somehow. Never in my life have I dealt with a company that is this pathetic.
The customer service people lie all the time. Two people give you completely different answers. Both of them wrong or liers
I moved on 08/12/2023. Was told it was cancelled at previous address. Wrong! The robot never allows you to talk to anyone! There was a time when I would call and it seemed like I was a new customer because they couldn't verify my phone number or account number. SMH, If you do not have problems then stay away from here!
Comcast xfinity is the worst cable service there. They control what equipment you know works great, and give you a piece of crap with voice control. It sucks big time. You press the mic and it doesn't work like it should. It says, " try saying, what should watch", or something just as stupid. If you change the channel by pressing the numbers on your remote, it tells you to try using the voice it's faster.
This service has to update itself every single day. It interrupts a movie or whatever you may be watching. It constantly goes out for an hour or more so you're left with no cable to watch. The movie choices are horrible and now they've included horror movies on a regular basis. Halloween time works just fine for horror films. The automated service is awful when trying to get to an agent. When you do get an agent, there's a language barrier. Too much outsourcing and not enough in country agents.
Piss of $#*! internet service, useless and rude customer service. Always getting service outage, service interruption…
