HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE. HORRIBLE. THEY DON'T WANT TO HELP YOU. THEY PUSH THROUGH 100 LOOPS TO SPEAK TO A REPRESENTATIVE. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. ITS HORRIBLE.
US News and World Report gives Xfinity wonderful reviews. #1 on most things. Obviously they didn't read any of the reviews written by real customers. Can't speak to a rep or a tech in the U.S. Chat is a total joke. Says it will transfer you to an agent. Won't. Had to call back again. Programs end early so you don't know what happened! Hopefully the end of one will show up on the beginning of the next show so you can watch. If you recorded it. If you didn't, you're out of luck. When I called Xfinity about it, agent said she would report it. No way to just ask a question without jumping through a bunch of hoops. Next for me? Streaming. I look forward to life without Xfinity.
Continuos service interruptions. I work late at night and I get my internet service cut off continuously. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. Is this long enough?
I am not a customer and I won't ever be one. I have spent too many hours trying to get my DECEASED mother's service cancelled and then trying to stop them from taking money from a closed account! No real person to talk to. Hours spent online, on phone, to receive no help.
This company is big scam company i buy line form the with free phone, then the promotion expired i cancel the line, they still charging me for the phone and it is unlocked. Pushing me to pay some thing i am not using
I moved into a new home and ordered Xfinity Wi-Fi. I called to make sure my home had active connection and was told that it did. They sent my first modem and it would not power up. I went to a store and got a second which powered up but did not give us Wi-Fi. A technician was send to discover we had no wiring to our home. We waited over a week for a ground crew to come, they marked the ground left. A week later I called to see the status of the work and was told it was complete and that we could get another technician out. He arrived and discovered the work was not complete. He promised that he and his supervisor would be out following the ground crew 3 days later to complete the work. We came home from a trip on Sunday and the work was not completed so I cancelled my installation and service. We also discovered the city had to tend to a burst water main and are confident the ground team burst this destroying the front of our home. Then they billed us for our first month of service! I spent an hour on the phone trying to arrange for someone to remove the ducting and had numerous agent put me on hold repeatedly before I eventually told them to remove the equipment or I would and hung up. This is the single worst experience I have ever had trying to get a service. Avoid at all costs.
Yes, I did call to cancel the service after 1st day trial. But still billed me $241.57. Are you hungry?
They just left a hole on the side of my house and an exposed wire through my backyard. They have cancelled a tech twice now. I've been waiting since June and it's Sept tomorrow.
Worst most pathetic joke of a company and customer service there ever was. Would give negative stars if I could. Everything thing about them from their overpriced garbage service to their even worse and nearly nonexistent "customer service."
Internet works half the time. Always outages, customer service never has answers. Thank God they aren't in the electricity or watwr business. Got rid of the issues at previous home by switching to ATT Fiber, now new neighborhood only offers xfinity.
Just wasted 6 hours dealing with one assbag to the next who transfer or hang up on you while they are laughing in their mud hut somewhere other than USA. Automated bull$#*! directs you nowhere. I threw their equipment in the yard. Totally $#*!ing useless junk never worked right anyway! Isnt the internet supposed to be free?
Trying to set up internet. Originally purchased a modem from xfinity. Took too long so bought one on Amazon. Went to activate and no luck. Spent 4.5 hours with chat only to be told I need to buy a new modem because an error in activation associated it with another account on network. Bought new modem and worked instantly via app. Plugged in console and internet no longer worked. Came back on. Asked them not to touch. They changed something say they were doing to permanently help me. Service disconnected. Talked for another 3 hours and now have service back with a higher bill and a contract with none of the stuff I ordered.
If you can get Google Fiber or Uverse, get that.
It is a shared split system. I even pay for more internet and NEVER get what I am paying extra for!
I just can't begin to tell you how bad the xfinity website is. I've worked in IT for over 30 years, and truly - the Xfinity website is one of the absolute worst I've ever seen. It's hard to find things, it's slow, it can require 3-4 logins per session as you navigate, it errors out ALL THE TIME, I just tried to log in and it literally took about 7 minutes to get the two factor login code. So, so ridiculous.
It's as if absolutely no one at Xfinity is looking over their amazingly bad website, or no one cares. There's not even a place to find a place to tell them how incredibly bad your website is.
They have great difficulty setting up new accounts. I spent an hour in an Xfinity store and another hour
On the phone with them. However, two weeks later, the account was still erroneous. I am now
Waiting on hold (51 minutes so far) and they are hopelessly confused. Errors were abundant and
The account is still not OK. Wow -do you have that kind of time for one account setup? Yikes!
If you have the government internet they will find a way to charge you outrageous fees! In July, I was approved for ACP and I upgraded my plan. Shortly, after the upgrade my internet was having issues so I called them and set an appointment for a technician to come out. Today, I found out they charged me $100 for a technician to come out. The technician only changed my equipment & I'm starting to think nothing was wrong with my equipment in the first place. If, something was wrong with my equipment how was that my fault? Check your bills, the fee is called a "Residential Trouble Call". I've had problems before but never had to pay for it. Also, my account was on auto pay I never had auto pay with them. I don't even pay anything because ACP covers it's now my bank account is in the negative for this charge! Do NOT get their service especially if it's through the government program.
If I could give -100 stars I would! Not only are the "customer service reps" the RUDEST people I've ever talked to, the service is garbage! I would NEVER EVER recommend Xfinity! Save your money and find better elsewhere.
I am such disappointed with the mobil service switch from T-Mobile to Xfinity. The sales person didn't disclose everything about the mobile plan, even said he will waive the $10 line set up fee. Still charge on my bill and I need to take time to get the fee waived. Also, didn't disclose the outside call and message will charge on. Didn't disclose the internet have data limits.
My brother died last Christmas, and I wanted to port his xFinity land line. To port the number, it had to be ported to a mobile phone. I purchased an xFinity mobile phone and initiated a port which takes 10 days to complete. After 10 days the port failed. I have initiated this porting sequence 6 times waiting over 10 days for each with no luck. After 4 months of trying to port this number, I was told if I ported to another carrier, it would take an hour. Today I spent 5 hours in a Cricket Wireless store with a porting specialist on the phone with xFinity. The conclusion - I have to port it to the xFinity mobile number and wait 10 more days!
I only had service for 3 weeks and it's already been discontinued really I'm switching back to Verizon sorry xfinity
