Fraud

This company does fraudulent activity, every month they make more charges, when I closed the account two months later they continue withdrawing money from my bank with hidden charges, I recommend AT & T

Equipement not delivered

I lost a lot of time to order the device... several times... Each time I was informed that the equipment was on its way. The equipment was not shipped. Then the cancellation of the service and the instruction to return the collected money took another hours of chat.

Xfinity service is very unethical. Their customer services were trying to confuse customers purposely so that the customers accidently paid more fees on the bill. The customer services are totally bull$#*! and they are changing their responsibility continuously to another agent until you are tired of asking around. I'm pretty sure Xfinity customer strategy did that on purpose so that customers like us not won't get our questions resolved but end up paying more fees and the plan didn't active like we wished. I recommend using another wifi service like Centrylink (they actually care about customers)

Unfortunately I have an infinity cable tower in my yard. I don't even have cable. When they provide service to neighbors they have to come in my yard to open the tower, replace cables, etc. etc. I just found good size sections of cables in my yard, little pieces strewn about and of course the grass around the box is torn up and then I had to find my sprinkler head they covered up. Even when they were Comcast they were just as terrible at removing their work debris and leave it for the homeowner to do. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Cheryl is the Executive Customer Experience representative in the Northeast Division. She is very condescending and fails to listen to you. Comcast (Xfinity) failed to do their job the first time I called to apply the ACP program. That is their fault not the customer and not the ACP programs. They owe me $30 but all Cheryl would say is the ACP program only applies the credit from when you apply it to your bill. Once again I did apply it to my bill but Comcast call center reps failed to do their job and thus I had to call back to find out why I was not receiving the credit. Comcast applied the credit the 2nd time for which I am now receiving the credit. Cheryl was not willing to listen to me and told me she was ending the call to which I definitely replied that Comcast sucks. It is a real shame that Comcast has a monopoly on high speed internet in my area or I would cancel service. Avoid them at all costs if you can... BEWARE!

Horrible out sourced employees! All they know how to say is no. Horrible customer service and they will lie just to get you off the phone and won't fix your problem. And the website is just bots you talk top. Horrible! All this money you pay for nothing!

You pay for everyone else

Terrible service, and the reason our bills are so crazy high is when you call in they say they are giving it free to anyone who gets food stamps and medicaid. So now we have to now pay for not only our own service but other people's internet and tv service (they get it free). I said nothing is free, you are just putting the charge on your paying customers to make your free system work for you. I was then told these people cannot afford tv and internet and struggle with paying these bills. Well I cannot afford a lot of things so I do not get them. This country is taking from the richer and giving to the Poor. Thomas Jefferson once said, the democracy will cease to exist when we take from those who have and give to those who have not... we are at this point... thanks xfinity

The people that help on the line are nice and helpful, the system they have set up is horrid and makes everything worse. You have to talk to a bot for 5 minutes every single time, you always get disconnected, and when you do, you have to restart from the beginning and get a new agent that doesn't even know your issues you already explained. No Id number to remember you or anything. I had to talk about my internet not working and a simple modem reset took an hour and 30 minutes due to them just having the dumbest setup possible that makes it harder than it has to be. The person that answers has to transfer you, but it gets disconnected half the time during that. So then you have to restar the process again, get transferred again… and so on. Absolutely horrible if it wasn't for the agents being nice and the internet being good I would say never bother. Unfortunately there aren't many options where I live and this is the best quality internet you can get and usually works.

Bad service

Nobody is available, nobody will talk to you. At the store guys are clueless, don't know what to do or how to help. If finally after waiting for 30 min, you get a chance to talk to representatives, they hang up on you, so you start all over. Terrible service, we are switching to another company

When they answer the phone, they tell you how valuable you are to them, then forget it, all talk!
You get switched to a texting computer that is so general with issues. Big deal, it reboots your modem. I have been paying for 1200mbps for 6 months, one test I had 900mbps that's it. I check my speed all the time. When it's busy, in the middle of the night, always from 4-200mbps. Yes 4! I have no other choice but to use them. If i had a choice, I wouldn't use Xfinity for my Dog House

My wi-fi will go out for just a minute come back and ten minutes later same thing for hours daily! I am contacted (with difficulty) Xfinity for them to tell me that everything is running great and if they send some one out and it is issue on my side there will be a charge! I call and for few days it's great then starts again! I pay way way too much for this crap. It is increasing worst and actually is starting to feel intentional since always same time if day and then after I call it stops for few days. Definitely looking for new service!

Awful Business Practices

I've been with Xfinity for about 3/4 years. My recent interaction with them was awful. I always keep record of my conversations too as the employees here lie. (a tip for new customers, screenshot everything!)

I chatted in with one employee who was nice, told me he was able to do "magic work" to get my bill down, keep everything the same and added unlimited data at no extra charge. I was so happy about that. But I check my account later and see nothings changed even after approving through email twice this new deal. I chatted in again to confirm everything was okay. Someone else told me it was all good on their end.

Got an email regarding my upcoming bill, of course it was this old amount. So this time I called in. Spent forever on the phone. Couldn't get ahold of anyone. Another downfall of Xfinity, a way to just simply contact anyone. Finally when I was connected with a rep they told me rest assured I will not be charged this incorrect amount.

Now just a few days ago. I was charged still the wrong amount and had to chat in AGAIN! At this point I'm fuming. I was able to get a credit on my account, have yet to see that on my card, and was told I won't have to pay at all next month. Guess we will see what happens.

Worst customer service and even worse business practices.

The service is absolutely horrible. The only thing worse than the connection is the customer service. I can get about 1% of the speed I pay for, if it's even connected at all. 0/10 do not recommend.

I had a hurricane event effect my internet service. By effect I mean it tore down our internet, and we were not able to live in the home, so we waited to get it repaired, as well as a new home install as we have no xfinity wires going to the home anymore. I scheduled the appointment for 09/08/2023, because it was deemed a hurricane repair, I was forced to wait from 8am - 8pm. I contacted xfinity several times throughout the day, each time being told the tech, David Alecia, was on the way. However, he never arrived and I was told they would come the next day between 8am - 2pm.

When 09/09/2023 1:00pm arrived, and there was no update, I spoke so a representative who told me the tech would call me in 15 minutes and be there in one hour. Neither of those things happened. I called again and was told that despite it being scheduled until 2pm, they technically had until 8pm. The tech did not arrive. I was talking to a representative about this, and instead of assisting me, he transferred me without my consent and I had to wait in the queue all over again.

It is passed the alloted time, I have waited two days (for a scheduled appointment) and no one has arrived, and I have no update or idea of when I will be having my internet hooked up and at this point I would rather have no internet than to deal with the absolutely disgusting and abhorent customer service I've been forced to endure.

Awful! Canceling is a PIA

They sure don't;make it easy to cancel which is why I will never get it again! So silly! Asking me lots of questions O just want to cancel, couldn't do it online make you take a call back and then try to get to you stay even though you tell them you're moving where they aren't! Just cancel

Crooks!

They are crooks! They strong arm you into paying HUNDREDS of dollars for no reason! Then they slap a contract that says you can't get out of it OR sue them. I hope Comcast tanks! They are modern day theives!

Refund problem

I have been trying to get a refund from Xfinity for service we never had since July. I have made several calls and even went to their Douglasville store three times and no one will help me. They always say no problem you should get your refund within 7 days and I never do
