Every week last month my internet was down and it was down again on 10/4/23. And I will be keeping a log of all outages starting with 10/4/23. It's happening way too much for having to pay $100 something a month for this type of service it should be $50 a month and that's pushing it. We need a better internet service provider besides comcast. I hear AT&T isn't much better. We need an internet service that knows how to keep service up and going consistently and knows how to get their act together unlike Comcast. Comcast you really need to get your act together on providing better services to all your customers or don't run a business with $#*!ty service.
Don't trust them. They lie and will make your life miserable. After 10 yrs of been a customer I was treated very bad. I regret using them and will never recommend them for any reason. If you chose to go with them, you better be checking your account for how much they are taking out and know they will interrupt your line for no good reason. Giving them 1 star is over rating. Very very bad company.
I moved, canceled my service. Was told I had a bill credit and did not owe anything. Months later I get a letter from a Debt Collection agency. I call Xfinifty and they gave me a completely different story on my account.
Xfinity is high priced and I will NEVER use them again!
They routinely raise your bills, for stuff you don't ask for, then the website to allow customers to change their plan always time out (I believe via deliberate deceptive practice... and to top it off calling customer care is an agreement to waste an hour or more... They are really low-class fraud operations...
Worst customer service and even worse business practices. They will say you didnt call in to cut off your service, and tell you its not on their computer account notes. Then they will say you owe like me 137.00 usd for 2 months which i didn't pay but 44.00 a month to start with. And i agreed to split and pay 1 month at 44.00 and they recognize i wasn't even there to do or use the 2nd month they want to charge. But instead basically called me a lier because they can't see it in their notes and i owe 137.00. They say you could cut the internet off thru the app either the only way was to call in, in which wasn't gonna get noted anyway that way can charge 2 months and have your credit spotting with a disconnection on you on service you thought was already off. So terrible business practices and sub par people working in customer service. So i say customer beware. Call in 2 weeks everyday to get things noted on your account the important stuff never makes it on! Will never use them again this is the second time they have done this to my family so is a common thing.
Tried to get a live person on the phone. We're looking to move. After 6 minutes, it hung up on me.
I came to this store on Monday September 25,2023 to activate my new iphone but somehow the sales representative and the manager got sneaky by setting up new seperate account for my wife and told me it would save us money. They explained that a Xfinity/Comcast home security technician would come over to the house to work on my existing home security system. On October 2,2023 the Xfinity/Comcast home security technician explained to me that in order for my existing home security equipment such as the 3 cameras and the touch screen system have to be replaced or else it is not going to work on the new modem. I told him I don't want a new security system since the existing Home security system I have are still working. The Xfinity/Comcast technician told me that the Manteca Xfinity/Comcast store is not a Company store. Furthermore, the Xfinity/Comcast technician told me that it is owned privately and operated separately from the Company store and It is very sneaky on this kind of business practices. The Xfinity/Comcast home security technician told me that the Manteca Xfinity/Comcast store representatives and manager had done it to many other of their customers by opening up a new separate Xfinity/Comcast account to make and increase their sales but not to save money. He advised me that if I have a Xfinity/Comcast problem go to either Modesto or Tracy Xfinity/Comcast store.
Just needed my WPA2 pass phrase/key. That's it. Endless AI is gone support, repeating ending services is the only way to get to a live agent. Patched through to tech support, outsourced support that didn't know what that was, I said it was fine to wait. They hung up on me. Then they call back to hang up again after I said hello. I guess to keep from looking like they hung up on a client for bad marks on service. Tried live chat, also didn't know what I wanted and just kept giving links to reset a wifi password when I said that's not what I needed. It's not printed on the panel on the router. My prayer is asking when the store is open tomorrow. Can't connect my Xbox 360 console to internet because of this. So tired of companies paying for bad, outsourced, shared support services that pay per active phone minute. So frustrating how much they will anger customers to save a dime on decent service or outsourcing.
Just terrible service overall. Slow. Glitchy. And it never actually works. Over priced and horrible value. Went to leave a review on their website and some how once I was finished it wouldn't let me post the one star review
This company is a ripoff. I pay for a speed of 600 but get a speed of 300. The guy who installed my service stole from my home also. Horrible company!
My bill is so high It's has to be price gouging. It's one of my largest bills next to my rent. They just took my favorite program that I would watch all the time "free" and moved it into a package. So the only way I can watch my program now is by subscribing to the sports and entertainment package. I hate Xfinity.
I currently have Xfinity as my service provider. The reps@ the Harlem & cermak location are unprofessional & complete liars. I've called the service line for said company & I can never get through to a rep as it is deliberately designed to discourage clients from speaking to live rep. This company has all kinds of hidden fees & functions in complete disarray. I dispose this company & as soon as I find a better service provider in my area I have every intention on taking my business else where
No connection or cable. Appointment was cancelled last minute. They wanted me to wait 10 days for a tech and after I called and spoke with customer service the issue still wasn't revolved. So now I'm stuck with equipment that doesn't work. I would rate no stars if it was available but I knew better than to use Xfinity.
They will keep their prices as high as possible and today when we had to replace our modem, we talked to 4 agents (all to no avail) over chat because trying to get to customer service over the phone number is almost impossible. It's app will also always give you errors. They didn't fix our wifi. They repeated themselves and they ignored us or dropped us the second they realized they weren't helpful or really listening to us. In the middle and eventually even tried to sell us an activation for an Xfinity device before he even could resolve our issues, which he didn't. Absolutely awful customer service most of the time. From the app, to the call menus, the live agent chats. Occasionally a call may get it right. Here we are 6 hours later and I wfh tomorrow and we have no wifi. Finally my 8th call (not including the absolutely obstuse online live agents and Xfinity assistant) resulted in an actual human and finally got a scheduled visit for a technician tomorrow. Hope this will finally be over. I would give Xfinity negative stars if I could. Also they may make promises about discounts and then you see you don't actually have them over time lol. Good luck. Screw the venomous monopolies such as this one. You are why capitalism fails.
My father-in-law had a massive stroke and is unable to walk & talk. His day consists of watching tv. His favorite shows - Cheyenne, Laramie, Gunsmoke, etc. has been taken away because comcast/xfinity no longer airs INSP. This is REALLY disappointing. They've taken what little pleasure he has and that really angers me!

They told me they're giving me a free phone. They lied. I am now stuck in a phone plan with a crappy Google pixel 6A that doesn't work. They wouldn't even send it in for repair because the battery wasn't working and made me cover all charges on top of paying for the phone internet is slow in order to get good internet. You need to spend at least $150 with this stupid company. I hope they get shut down and I hope every business goes under from Xfinity.
I would not recommend this company to anyone they lie they don't know what they are doing and one person tells you one thing next tells you something different all I wanted to do is transfer a phone over and I can't do that they told me that all I have to do is put the Sim card in and a network reset and restart my phone well then the other person said no you can't the second person told me that I can get a repayment option and that it can help with the dues and then I can help get my phone transferred over my bill is due the 4th they said I can set that up to pay then so you have both people telling you different save your money and time don't go with Xfinity
Impossible to get someone on the phone. Company would be better of if it were run by children. If they were trying to win an award for worst service ever they would be the clear winners.
We switched to Xfinity because they offered us a no contract deal at 19.99 a month. The service was ok at best. After a year maybe a little longer our bill started increasing to 92.00 as of this month.The service was definitely getting slower and now at times we can go all day and tv will not have Wi-Fi. Our account is on automatic pay every month, we have a new LG TV, new Aries wireless modem. Its only my wife and I. We have unlimited service on our IPhone. So nothing else uses Wi-Fi except our laptop and we don't use it much. We have one TV. The customer service is impossible to get in contact with. How can someone charge you five times the amount of the original charge for less than half the original service? That should be a crime. You are taking money from people when YOU KNOW the services you offer DONT WORK. That is a crime!
