Easy purchase of HID headlight kit. Kit arrived very quickly, even being shipped from Canada. Transaction was very simple. Instructions are not very instructive, like what to do with second set of wires from original wire loom or which side to plug in wiring harness for new HID set up. A bit more information would help a lot.
The product advertisement led me to believe this would be an easy installation. This was not my experience. The product instructions are very general--not specific to the make/model you order it for. The LED bulbs would not fit inside the housing with the dust/moisture cover closed. It would have required drilling and sealing holes in the housing or dust covers which I am not interested in doing. The dealership couldn't help because they cannot legally do headlight modifications, as these are not DOT legal.
I was also surprised to find that the return shipping was around $25. You have to return to Canada (even though there is a US location). Add the 20% restocking fee and it turns out to be a very bad deal.
Then there's the 20% restocking fee and $25 to send them back to Canada. (I was not aware the product was coming from Canada and has to be returned to Canada.)
So far shopping here has been quick and easy to find the correct bulbs you need for your vehicle. Will give more feedback when the bulbs are installed.(Waiting till spring to install) I tried another brand before and they lasted about a month. Hopefully these will be much better quality.
