It has been almost two weeks since Xe.com confirmed receiving my fund, but it has neither complete the transfer, nor refund my the money. No phone call support available; No emails response for days. Xe is keeping more than $******* of my money against my will! Shame on Xe.com!
I had sent transfer on 19th dec when the rate was high, received email asking to call them to complete transaction. Tried for 4 days on hold for hours and hours and was never successful in reaching an agent. Sent an email stating the same and asking them to call me, but never received a call for 3days. Sent email out to cancel on 28th for which i received the confirmation in 20mins that the transaction is cancelled, but havent received money till today 29th.
After sending money to a few of my friends and family member over the months with them, they keep asking passport copies and information from those third party account I sent money too. This not only breaks the privacy laws but me asking a third party to give me their passport details and forward to someone I have never seen or hear? Via email. After I took the matter higher up with some lawyers and my ombudsman I was advise to stop dealing with XE. Basically there is no such control and XE is on the route of non safe practises with all privacy rules and regulations in place. They will defend by saying you sign by and its says on this line etc... is all bull$#*!. They make up and bully you. Why bother! There are so many other senders that do the right thing in the industry. Beware of XE and their staff. Be warn.
They collected sensitive information including SS and driver license number. Without providing any reason they refused to open an account. I emailed the customer service for clarification but I do not expect to hear from them. What a scam. Very upsetting.
Well guys, I run my business for 2 years in the UK and I hold 2 passports Russian and British. I m a British resident for 11 years and holder of British passport for 6 years. I'm running my business successfully trading in the UK and overseas countries. I have great history with UK banking.
I was refused to open up account with XE. No explanation. But I guess they didn't like my second nationality!
Avoid at any cost! They collected all my private details, my bills, back statements and income copies. The company is a joke! Never! Going to report to mass media either!
Dishonest business practices. They collect your personal information including bank account, social security and other info and then refuse to open your account without providing a reason and there is nothing you can do to fix any potential problem. Stay far away from this company
Getting a refund from this company is a nightmare, XE pay private review sites to get high scores.
Very bad customer service never answer their calls
I have been trying to send a money transfer btw US and OK... after over two weeks wait I still didn't get the money in the UK account and no one knows where the funds are.
They happily took money from my US account and now I'm trying to contact them several and besides being on hold, nothing happens, no one answers the call. They also don't answer to email.

We registered our company with XE to do business transfers. We thought this would be a prompt service.
After submitting all the paperwork, Our accout was never activated even after 1 week of waiting and contacting XE company for almost twice every day for 1 week, there was no response neither any intensoins to resolve the issue. We always have been told that someone will contact but no one followup.
This is really disappointing to see an extremly poor response, service, and a very rigid policy implemented to lose potential customers. We are extremely dissatisfied with XE service regardless of having multiple accounts with the company.
Xe in the USA makes you set up an account in the UK. Note that USA banks do not have a IBAN, International Bank Account Number or BIC. My UK account was dormant for 21 months and the UK bank cannot retrieve or find the account. But worse, when I call Xe in the US *******606 or in theUK *******844, after being put on hold for an hour twice, they say, we cannot help you, your account is on restricted. But they don't tell you why. It makes me think they diverted the funds that were in the UK account and closed the account. I am now trying to find out via mylostaccountuk were the money went.
My advise, stay away from Xe. One way or another You'll get in trouble or get hurt.
They will ask for all your personal information including bank account information and ID in order to open an account for you and then refuse to open your account without providing a reason. If you try to complain you will first have to wait for at least half an hour on the phone and then you will be told that they can't disclose a reason why they can't open your account. And on top of that they will sell your personal data to their "partners". This is a very shady business practice and most likely a scam to steal your financial information. Stay AWAY from this scammy company.
Money XE transfer are frauds, they keep on hold my money for 3 weeks so far feeding me some weird explanations that Because of COVID Chana's bank have very strict regulations and MIGHT keep on hold my money with intermediary bank, but they don't know exactly if it is the case. Please avoid trust your money to XE, they won't provide clear trace how money move from bank to bank to reach recipient. I saved $35 CA to pay bank for wire transfer and lost $3000, please don't repeat my mistake.
These are fraudsters of the highest order! God, I never had such a harrowing experience with any other money exchange companies before... These morons have been ILLEGALLY holding MY MONEY for 14 days without transferring it. Can you believe it? 14 days and still MY MONEY is not credited into MY BANK ACCOUNT. FRAUDSTERS! Don't ever do business with them... They will just rip you off... Please believe me... Don't ever do business with these cheating morons (f***ers)

Frustrating experience, horrible customer service, incompetent staff. Tried to send a measly amount of money to a relative just enough for one trip to groceries store, but the amount of paperwork they requested was mindblowing. At the end, I gave up, and requested a refund, expecting that in case of cancellation the refund should be nice and easy, but how wrong I was! The new round of the paperwork began - just to recover my money!
Horrific cancellation fees when you haven't even sent your funds to be transferred, you've basically just filled in an online form. Totally immoral. Avoid unless you want to be ripped off.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. I signed up with XE in order to transfer US dollars To CAD in order to purchase in Canada. It was a large transfer... I called several times to make sure the transfer was going through and to check the status. I only received form letter responses, never a the call back I requested. After the Available Date, the Date the funds were supposed to be available to me in my Canada Bank passed I contacted my bank to refund the wire transfer. This is in process. I would say that even though XE advertises to save you money, using a bank directly is the safes option. Especially with large monetary transfers. Lesson learned!
On various sites, they say they provide a competitive exchange rate, so I got my client to transfer money through them. As I am checking on the site an exchange rate of 71.22, the money my client transferred to me was given an exchange rate of 67.36. When I called them, I had to hold for 15 minutes, before I got a customer service representative. What I am surprised about is who are they so high on all the online money transfer service comparison websites. Who are they paying. When most services transfer the money within minutes, they take days, a poor exchange rate, and a bad customer care.
Be very careful using this company, my bank in the US refused to transfer funds due to a new compliance procedure. They indicated that this only applied to international transfers, so I set up a XE transfer via a US bank. My US bank then advised that this procedure applied to all transfers. I advised XE that due issues out with my control I was not able to proceed. They have refuse me to acknowledge that this is a case for applying Force Majeure or go to arbitration they are now sending notifications that they are taking me to court. A case that I intend to fight. So if you are going to transfer money and it dies not go though be ready for a bill or a fight in court.
We buy goods in from China and send money out there on a regular basis. It is normally trouble free, but on a recent payment that was delayed a quick phone call soon sorted the issue out. It saves us money compared to using a bank as the fees if charged are lower and the rate of exchange better.
Appalling customer service don't care about their clients just tell them not our fault. Takes them days to make a payment and still can't confirm if been successful. They fail to make payments and then refuse to give a full refund. Do not trust. Wherever possible use another company...
Answer: Be careful they just did this to me. I was expecting a deposit into my xe account. I got text message to confirm deposit, then numerous emails and calls to make deals, then they tell me once I accepted, that the funds weren't mine, and that they accidentally deposited someone else's funds into my account. I sent the converted equivalent back to them so now the other customer has all of their money back, but they want the difference in conversion to make their own greedy profit, and have threatened debt collection agency onto me.
Answer: After reading all the horrible reviews it looks like they are a SCAM! You should go to the FBI and other authorities they need to be investigated for the SCAM they are. You should go to the media to try and get your money back. So sorry for your situation!

Answer: They took money from my account on January 12th, 2018. Now it is January 26th, 2018, and they still did not give me my money back.
