Worthy helped me to sell my father's diamond ring. I had talked to several jewelers but because of the size of the diamond and the cut they were not interested. So I found Worthy on the internet. After reading reviews I called Rachel. She kept me informed thru the entire process and worked hard to sell my ring at an agreed price. Turned out that the ring sold above the reserve price! Thanks Rachel for a job well done!
I wanted to share my experience with Worthy. I needed to sell a couple of diamonds and this day and times we don't know who or where to turn sometimes. WORTHY is the place! Trust me, Rachel worked extremely hard with me to sell my diamonds. She kept me informed throughout the process and was able to answer any questions that I had.
Thanks Rachel, for a job well done.

Worthy helped sell my mom's vintage Baume and Mercier watch and it sold well- above the reserve price too! Dealt with Kendall through the process, he was super attentive and responsive to my questions. Looking through my estate jewelry to see what other pieces I can sell with Worthy's help.

I recently auctioned a "significant" diamond ring using Worthy. Never having done anything like this before, I was naturally hesitant... mailing the ring safely, getting it certified (which was necessary) and then wondering how to go about selling it for a fair price. We were anxious about it. It was a family heirloom. We came across a review for Worthy and were very impressed. Their website is extremely easy to use and all of the outlined steps for shipping, certifying and selling, were easy and honestly, seemed too good to be true!
I entered the information that I had on the ring and set up a call with Worthy. Rachel Kass took the call. She was amazing. She calmly answered all of our anxious questions and spent over 45 minutes on the phone with us. She encouraged us to reach out if we had ANY concerns or other questions and was always prompt to answer an email or call. Her associate Ornella Beresi was also a tremendous help and we had no trouble connecting with either one of them. She mailed me the packing materials for the ring and kept me up to date every step of the way.
The Auction was a seemless and easy experience and we sold our piece for a very nice price. They took care of every detail and I would certainly recommend Worthy to anyone who has a similar need to auction jewelry. Thank you Rachel and Ornella! You are the best! - Holly S.

Please beware of this company. Read the reviews (the real ones) and notice the consistent themes. Worthy reps will convince you to send them your ring and allow them to remove the diamond (they do not mention this until after you send your ring and they give you a substantially low offer). Don't do it! First, you can get a better price from a local jewelry dealer. Be prepared to be shocked by the difference between your insurance appraisal value and how much you are being offered (I was offered 15% of my appraisal value). Your Worthy rep will be available and very responsive up until you ask for them to send you your ring back. Once I made this request, a week went by with no response. I had to eventually ask for a manager and threaten to report my ring stolen. Also, one of the most important things you need to be aware of is how they insure your ring. Once my ring was returned I notice on the slip in the package that instead of my ring being insured for the appraised value ($7500) which is the value I have the ring insured for, it was insured for the value Worthy offered me. If I had known this, I would not have trusted mailing my ring to them in the first place. Finally, the offer they give you after you send your ring will be substantially different from the offer they provide during your initial consultation and their final offer (i. E. $535 vs. $1100). I sold my ring to a reputable local jewelry dealer for the amount Worthy offered during my original consultation (after escalating my case to a manger and threatening to expose this company, the manager was "finally" (again this is part of the game they play) able to get me an offer of the amount they originally quoted during my consultation which I declined since I got the same offer from a local dealer and wouldn't have to give up the 20% Worthy requires. Either way I did not want to do business with this shady company so even if they had increased their offer I would not have accepted it.) Therefore this process was a waste of time and a headache. Had I sold my ring to them I would have gotten between 20% - 50% (20% for the fee they charge; 50% if I had gone with the actual offer after they received my ring) less. So trust me when I say do not waste your time with this company! They lack integrity!
Hi Maria,
We'd like to make clear that your accusations that our reviews are not genuine is not only factually inaccurate, but is an unfair slight to the people on our team that work so hard getting people the most value we can for their items. As a marketplace, we strive to get you the highest amount as our success is your success, while only charging a fee and leaving you in control the entire time. You did not describe your diamond accurately when you submitted it, and, as such, our initial estimate of its value was off (had you described your item accurately, we would have rejected it when submitted). We did everything we could to try to get you the most money from our buyer community, as we always do. In fact, if you read the many positive reviews across various platforms, you consistently see we are able to significantly beat the amount you can find locally. Finally, when you sent us your item in December of 2018, the packing slip was inaccurate - rest assured that your items are fully insured up to $100,000 with our policy from Lloyd's of London. We are sorry that you were not able to get a successful deal made on our platform, and do wish you the best.

I had sent a beautiful bridal set that was my mom's and she passed before getting married. I worked with Kendall who kept me informed of my ring during the whole process every single day. If I ever do this again I will definitely make sure to get Kendall to work with me! He understood the meaning of the ring to me and all of my concerns. Such a genuine honest young man. I hope that whoever reads this ask for Kendall Vamburg to work with you through your process. You'll be happy and feel very comfortable with him.
Thank you so much Kendall,

I can see others have liked this service and maybe it's because they're just surprised they got anything for their jewelry. But this is a similar service to "I have to sell my used car quick for cash" or going to your local Pawn broker... well, it may be a step above that I guess. But don't think for a minute just because they have hundreds of buyers as they'll tell you, that that means you're going to get top dollar. You won't. You won't likely even get what your diamond/jewelry is worth for scrap. Oh they'll rush to get your item, and then give you an "appraisal" (mine was ridiculously low=I know the scrap value of the diamonds... they did not even meet that) and then let the auction run and hey maybe you have an amazing one of a kind piece that will sell high... but even then I'd bet you'd do better on Ebay with good pictures and a great sales/writeup. (as I have) Also don't expect a quick return if you want it back after their auction. Diamond Buyers International is a much better/similar service. No slick sales team experience like I had with Worthy. Or well, some of the team I spoke with were more informed than others but none gave the explanation of what their service actually is in the way that I learned online and from the Rep I dealt with at Diamond Buyers International. Good luck though!
In response to your comments, Worthy respectively finds your statements self promoting and not grounded in actual facts. Worthy works with reputable and respected industry partners, such as Llyod’s of London for insurance coverage, GIA and IGI for diamond grading reports, FedEx for shipping, to name a few of our business partners. These companies are trusted worldwide and each take great pride and care in being best in class service providers.
It is important to recognize that GIA and IGI do not issue appraisals, as an appraisal is subjective in scope and is typically used as an insurance replacement value. A Grading Report is the scientific evaluation of the diamonds characteristics. The Grading Report states the cut, color, clarity, carat weight, polish, symmetry, fluorescence, culet size, length, width, depth, girdle and inclusions. Knowing what you have is key and Worthy works with and partners with GIA and IGI to give you the facts on your diamond. It is an unbiased, 3rd party report. The buyers on the Worthy online auction platform bid on each diamond based on the facts and the Grading Report as the global industry standard.
Worthy works with thousands of clients and as can be seen in all the many positive reviews, helps clients get the most for their items.
I started the process to sell my ring through Worthy. The initial sales lady * let me know that I could possibly obtain anywhere between $20-$28k based on the information I gave her from my estimate and appraisal. I sent the ring in and was contacted by * helping manage the auction. I almost changed my mind and when I asked him to send the ring back, he said no. So the auction starts, I get a bid of $3k, then $9. The final bid was $10k. After being told I could have more than $20--I said no. The appraisal was $60k, and while I fully understood I would not receive that, $20 was not too much to ask. When it's all over I asked * to send my ring back. He sends me this email,

Dear Sara,
Thanks for emailing and giving me the necessary info. I do believe the 10,000 is a great offer but understand where you're coming from if your expectations were 3x market value.
Is it possible to leave the sarcasm out of it? I actually have an offer now for $28k, and if I had accepted the $10 I would have lost out! No need to include the passive-aggressive attitude, *.

So easy. Got a great price for my ring after wearing it for 14 years. Didn't cost me a dime out of pocket. Was kept in the loop every step of the way. Thank you!

Easy process; kept me informed the entire time - every step of the way. Before I sent in my ring, I talked to a representative about the process and felt confident in moving forward. They sent me an update via email during every step of the process. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to sell their ring.

I had this ring reviewed by one of my moms friends who is actually a diamond dealer. He buys and sells diamonds way closer to the actual cost hat a jeweler or company who's it gonna charge you about triple the price of whatever something is worth. Most people don't know this until they have already had this type of situation happen. They spend a small fortune on a diamond that actually has no true value if ever needed to be resold. So if anyone is reading this. Find a direct diamond broker! They will sell you a diamond way closer to the price of the actual value of the diamond And you'll probably get a way bigger better clarity more awesome diamond from them than you ever will from any store and definitely more than any company like worthy. My mother's friend who's business is just that told me that even though yes the ring from the store cost around $14,000 that it should get around $2,500-! 3,500. I remember when I first heard those numbers that I felt they were so little comparatively to the original price tag. Jaw dropped! So why I understood his expertise I decided to send my ring into Whorthy to see what that market could hold and they suggested...$850 after their analysis which is absolutely ridiculous! That's before they're 20% fee cut btw. Save yourself the time and money and see if you can find an independent diamond broker for someone else because were they at this point doesn't give you much more than a pawnshop!

Answer: Yes, Worthy photographs your item and gets it appraised. Worthy will suggest a reserve price. You can set your own, though, like I did. Had my ring not reached the reserve, I would have had the option of accepting the sale or having my ring returned. I set my reserve price 5% over what they suggested and I received double what I set as my reserve. Something to note is since my ring had a flurry of attention on the last day, Worthy extended my auction time enabling me to receive more bids. My ring sold last night and I had an email this morning saying my deposit was made to my account. I will use them again and recommend them to my family.

Answer: Yes, we can help you sell all of your fine jewelry pieces. Please call us at 888-222-0208.
Answer: For me Worthy was legitimate and I plan to use them again and to refer them. They did an excellent job.
Answer: I was offered a quick sale and it was less than what I had anticipated my minimum bid price would be. I was told my check was sent out. Hoping to receive the check any day now, All in all, the process was not everything I had hoped for... I received one phone call on a sunday with the quick sale offer and some basic info on the appraisal. If you created an on-line account and communicated via email then you at least have some paper trial of what has happened. I went in person and delivered a ring so all communication was via phone once I left the building.
