Don't buy this! It is not worth the money you put into it. The roaming charges for US are exorbitant and I wasted over £50 for not even two days of service. Plus the set up was SO confusing. Don't waste your time or money on this SIM card.
I was unable to top off the SIM card via your web site. I had to call every time I needed to add $ to the SIM. I had your people set-up auto re-load only to have it not work, and I still had to call to add $ to the SIM. It was very troublesome while I was traveling. If your web-site gets working correctly to allow web loading of $ to the SIM, the service would be acceptable. Otherwise, it is not.
I am very saddened by this purchase. I will be posting a full review of this product and will urge people not to buy this SIM card. Firstly I was told the people in the uk calling would not be charged and allowances would be taken from their call time. This is not the case for one call my spouse was charged £11.50 for two mins? I was also told it would be free for me to receive calls as long as I had credit this again was a lie for every call I received I was charged. I spoke to world SIM customer service who seem to have no clue and tell you lies. I will be posting a detailed review on eBay and social media sites not to buy this product as it is all lies. I am shocked at the level of service I received and think you guys need to go back to the drawing board with this one. Guys don't buy this product you'll end up in deep pockets but also your loved ones calling you will end up in debt.
SIM would not send messages or connect in the transit airport and in country immediately I started the phone told me I had no credit. Completely useless.
Could not get it to work, website was totally useless, rang support several times but could not get through, left my number for call back but no one ever returned the call, appalling service!
I bought a Data SIM card and topped it up with 1 GB of internet (for a cost of 47 EUR) for my business trip in Germany; the purpose was to help me deal with my emails and daily office work online. In less than 2 days the SIM was empty and they have overcharged me another $27. For business reasons I was forced to top it up with another GB, so another 47 EUR. For some technical reason the data didn't go through immediately, leaving me no choice than using my expensive roaming service, and when it finally activated I was able to use it for less than 24h, forcing me again to use my roaming data. I think I spent around 200 EUR for internet at the end of my 5 day trip + the hustle of contacting their customer care every time the SIM card was not working. I use these services very often as I travel a lot around the world, and normally I go about a week with 1 GB, but this was by far the worst and the most expensive data service I had ever tried.
I'm happy with the world sim so far with voice only. I have tried data few time in rome but so slow when i tried to find restaurant and how to get there.
I called the customer service 2 times when i first got it for activation purpose and question on billing. It took me some difficult time to understand the representative because of their english accent; however i finally got the issues resolve.
Paid for it, arrived the next day, inserted the sim, travelled from UK to France and it worked perfectly.
Two years ago I travelled from Singapore to UK overland and the country list wasn't as large then so it wasn't useful enough to buy. The list has been extended and it would now have been perfect.
You do have to manually check it's connected to a listed network that is cheap or you can get caught out on costs. Not sure why the list isn't automatically downloaded and a notification isn't given if you are not.
Easy to use and it looks nice. Very practical with its double SIM card slots when you're traveling in different countries.

Bought the new Sim cards ( 2) and they were shipped and received within days.
Requested existing Sim balances to be transferred to the new ones and it was done over night, The new Sim is better as don't have to pick which area I am in e.g. "Global" which was always a nuisance if you didn't know as some crossed over. Still a bit of an issue with having to use them every three months/ lost $$ last year when we missed the 3 month cut off and told basically " toto bad so sad thanks for the free money that was legally mine ( I don't travel every three months but go overseas once a year. But when in use they are good.
What a nifty little package that packs a powerful punch, i was a bit oh ye heard all these claims before. Well how wrong i was i know have to buy more as my son who travels the country has taken possession of this remarkable gadget he has yet to find a blind spot to use the item. We are so pleased with this item that i have them marked for Christmas presents
Great product and great service at a reasonable price. This is a device that I would not travel without and I recommend it to all of my customers.

I've paid for a next day delivery because I was flying the next day and the SIM card arrived two days later. I basically spent 100 pounds for nothing because I obviously couldn't use the SIM card and also had to spend double the money on random SIM cards during my trip.
I will never ever ever recommend this service to anyone.
Ps: I want my money back
First I bought a faulty mobile Internet. It did not work. Then last month I bought a faulty 7" tablet and sent it back at my expense of £8.55. Now you are sending me a replacement tablet even though I asked for a full refund and the £8.55 I spent posting the faulty tablet back to Edgware.
So my rating of you service is terrible.
You service agent was not English and could not appreciate what I was asking.
I will never buy anything else from World Sim.
The only thing that works is the sim card I took from the mobile Internet receiver I bought. I have yet to receive the tablet and what about my £8.55 postage refund.
So awful service.

I purchased a sim and a mobile internet device. This was for my trip to Turkey, where I know the Turkey does not have wifi
I called customer support to gain help in setting up, all I was told "we will send an email". After the 3rd call I insisted that the person helped me over the phone, this he did.

I read the reviews about worldsim, some good some not so good, i wanted a world phone for my holidays in usa and when i go on cruises, i bought a travel genie, it did not charge, they sent me another and that did not charge they then sent me a orbizz phone for no extra cost paid back all my postage and sylwia even charged this one and checked the charger then rang we to tell me all this happened over a week not months

The numbers they give you are registered in channel Islands which means they are international numbers even though country code is 0044 this means if anyone calls you from the UK it will charge them ridiculous prices. I was charged £70 for an hours call! Point is wherever you go just get a local number it would be much cheaper.

Answer: To set up data, I believe you require to set the APN as mobiledata. And their return is around 2 weeks from the day you receive the product.

They just want you to buy the card and then no support. I have called and emailed and open case for 10 times.( i have 10mails) and their answer was " please test again and if there is a problem we are happy to assist you" thats it. I have sent 10 emails, I lost money from my job because of the time tryting to connect with them and 2 weeks later, today the answer I received for my 10th email was Dear customer, Please re-test and share latest couple of examples if failed again to investigate this issue further.
