Woodland Direct was the ONLY supplier I could find for the special Bean shaped, amber, Glass Rocks for my fire pit. I needed another 10# and the Woodland Direct selection was almost a perfect match (just a tad smaller in size). Once added in, they look great and my fire pit is back to great shape!

Great sales team response to all questions. Fire pit shipped well ahead of schedule. Transport pallet packaging was extensive with no damage via motor freight. Transport driver moved the pallet from street to the pool deck and was extremely nice. The natural gas company quickly made our gas line connections. Our entire family has enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. Woodlanddirect is the place you want to shop.

When my wife and I decided to convert the wood burning fireplace to propane gas, we contacted three different plumbers to give us estimates on cost for running the piping from the propane tank to the fireplace. After receiving the estimates, I asked each plumber if they have a recommendation for the type of log set I should purchase. All three immediately responded that Peterson log sets are the best. I researched and found Woodland Direct online. Garrett with their customer service did a great job of patiently answering all of my questions regarding the Peterson Golden Oak log set. I purchased it and had the plumber we finally hired install it. It looks absolutely beautiful and quickly heated up the room. We are so glad we found Woodland Direct and the Peterson log set. I've used my fireplace for two seasons. I'm on the South Georgia coast so we don't have much cold weather but when I selected a WD fireplace, I thought that we would enjoy the short periods of when we wanted to burn a fire. Both season we have experienced smoke filling our living room and house. I worked with the customer service team to isolate the issue. Tried all of their recommendations, video'd the smoke filling the room, cracked windows in the same room, cracked doors, opened windows and doors and we still have flowing smoke coming into the house. I figured the house was too tight with open cell insulation but fully opening the doors and windows proved me wrong. The recommendation is to install an exhaust fan on top of the chimney and suck the smoke out. A. way too expensive to buy the WD unit, B. Pain to install with the limited space on top and having to run new electrical to support the fan and switches. Not sure what to do...but considering ripping it out and finding a new supplier. One that can have someone come out and work with me.
I purchased two custom fire pit burner systems with electronic starters. These were custom made to size. I had a few issues related to the installation including the fact that on one of the burner systems they cut a hole for the fire starter in a place where the unit could not reach so we had to then cut our own hole. Putting that aside I had some other questions and emailed by sales representative twice. No response to either email despite him being more than available when trying to sell me the items. So I finally called general / technical support. After explaining my issues I was told that I should expect a call back within 48 hours. It has been over a week - no response. So I gave up even though I need to return one of the starter systems (the burner is fine) because it won't work with my setup.
One of the logs arrived broken. I called
Them up and had replacements within a week or so. The log set is natural looking and produces SO much more heat than just the burner by itself.
I needed a new spark screen and a cover. They made me a screen for my pit and also sent a cover at a fantastic price! These guys are awesome!
The representative repeatedly helped me as I went through the process of Set up for my very large fire pit. He answered all of my questions and was very patient with me. He had follow through with me and definitely could recommend this company.
The quality of the items I had custom-made are outstanding. Customer Service top-notch. And the turnaround time was exceptional.

We had a great experience from the first call until the last contact. There was some breakage in the delivery and they were prompt and eager to make it all right. Haven't tested the fireplace yet, but I'm looking forward to it once the weather cools down.
