SCAM!
May 27, 2015

I was contacted by someone from woman freebies and they told me I won the grand prize of 1 million dollars and a kitchen aid mixer and a tractor. They told me to give them my information so I did witch is my phone number, address, and name. Then they asked me to go to a walmart or a moneygram to give them 289.99 for my P-14 and my claimers receipt. I told them I did not have that kind of money and they kept bugging me for money at even a lower amount. They said that they would come to my home and give me everything once I gave them the money. I really feel that this is a scam and I gave my personal information out!

Scam
May 17, 2015

I was just contacted through Facebook messenger, saying I had won the grand prize. When I was prompted to give my personal info, I asked if it was a bot or a real person I was talking to. The conversation was cancelled.

The page that just asks for your first name, last name and email has the privacy policy on the bottom. Click that, scroll down and you will see the click here to opt-out of it all. I hope this is helpful.

NO! Avoid this website. Notice there is no way to email or unsubscribe! I foolishly followed a link on Facebook for a free giveaway and entered my phone number and email to enter. I know... stupid! Anyway... since that time 1.5 weeks ago, I now receive 5-8 phone calls a day on my mobile trying to offer me a loan. The caller is always one with a very heavy Indian accent... very difficult to understand. I tell them to remove my phone number from their database and they always get rude and swear and make fun of my request. On http://womanfreebies.com there is no way to write to them or unsubscribe. On their facebook page I wrote a few comments asking for a way to get my number removed and they have blocked me. I have asked FAcebook to investigate the page https://www.facebook.com/WomanFreebies?fref=ts but they said it didn't violate their terms of standards. I wrote back to them saying it was not the page but what they were doing! They give away free samples and items each day. Here are some of the numbers that called me: *******245, **************, *******368, *******540, *******288, *******434, *******221, *******471, *******221, *******287, *******513, *******653, *******539, *******995, *******669, *******068. This started on 4/2/15. PLEASE HELP! How can I get this harassment to stop? Does anyone know of a contact or way to remove phone number?

I followed a shared link on my Facebook feed to this site. It asked for my mailing address and phone number to sign up... didn't think too much of that at first because I thought there would be samples mailed to me. Pretty quickly, I realized that you just are referred to site after site after site and most of what I saw seemed to be magazine subscriptions, services, contests...

Starting almost immediately, the spam emails began pouring in. Within a day or two, I was receiving telemarketer calls like crazy. That was about two weeks ago.

The emails have slowed - I unsubscribed to those I could - but the telemarketer calls have become absurd. 19 yesterday. Today, I have had 6 so far and it's only noontime. They are for all kinds of things - saying I've won a cruise, pushing continuing education, CPA services, telling me I can get a federal grant, wanting me to sign up for credit card processing services... just a myriad of 'stuff'.

I feel so foolish for having signed up at this site and am kicking myself everytime my phone rings.

I appreciate that I don't have to give my phone number to enter and they don't blast my e-mail account several times a day. They have good giveaways and name brand coupons.

I use this website all the time to get free things and samples sent to my home. They also have printable coupons but unfortunately I do not have a printer for that.

This site basically shows you a list of other websites that are offering free samples and coupons. If any of the websites ask for your credit card information just don't do it, if it is free you shouldn't need that.
